Ludwig van Beethoven (1803) Tina S. (2016)
This posting for the music/ arts honour roll society of this journal/ blog is dedicated to the famous 18th/ 19th century German composer Ludwig van Beethoven (wikipedia), and to highlight one of his greatest classics here, "Moonlight Sonata 3rd Movement" (1801). French guitarist Tina S (Tina S. Part 1) who I been following for several years now, just released her guitar cover of this classic, so I wanted to include it here and dedicate it to Ludwig, being that I am sure he would have loved to enjoy her cover of it! ... and it would be great to even have these 2 meet, Ludwig was 31 years old when he completed the piece, Tina is 16 years old. But this piece from Beethoven is as intense and beautiful of a piece of work today as it was in the beginning of the 19th century, which I would say was as intense as the personality of Ludwig. It must have been a treat as well back in Ludwig's time to be able to play keyboards like the clavichord and harpsichord too ... I mean, I love both as far as listening, in their own unique sound, in particular I would love to try out a clavichord to play on, because of how much it is like guitar in sound too ... these instruments have faded away of course, but are classic.
