"Sanitarium for the Puppet's"... and "WALL STREET ... is Not EASY STREET"...

I thought that the classic CD/ LP piece "Master of Puppet's" song "Welcome Home (sanitarium)" of the classic rock music group "Metallica" was quite appropriate for the chaos on the Hill over the last 10 day's or so ... and the reality check to Wall St. that ... this IS NOT Easy St. heh, heh, heh, ... welcome home! And credit to Metallica for such a fine classic composition.

This has been more fun then I have expected it to be ... and the fact that the Bill proposed to assist the financial problem was voted down today ... came as a pleasant suprise as well! Let this be a reminder to even those on Wall St. that this is what the "free market" is all about ... and part of what give's their career's a touch of excitement. After all ... it's not any fun being bored all the time ... now is it? How can one enjoy victory if they never felt what it is like to fail?

Is this only about Wall St. and America? Absolutely not ... and that was the most fun part of all this as well ... because this was about the globe ... and it's Master's of Puppet's. In America for instance, this is about the "U.S.Chamber of Commerce"... and their buddies the "Business Roundtable" who for far long has not represented the interest's of small business in America which employ's at least 75% of American's! Small business who has had to strictly represent and cater to the master's of big global business. Heh, heh, heh ... we have long paid our due's .. should you not pay your's? Do we realize that the U.S.Chamber of Commerce as well as the Business Roundtable has spent a combined $510,000,000 in lobbying between 1998 and 2008 alone? And we wonder why small business is not heard. The Republican House members capitalized off this by voting to reject this ... heh, heh, heh ... your own buddies!

Who's at fault here? We all are. You see ... our system depend's on "credit/ loans" and it has gotten to be a "dependency". We have bank's and sub prime folks entice us to spend, spend, spend ... and constantly borrow to consume ... even if it really isnt an important consumption. Dont get me wrong ... I am a capitalist and a very materialistic person ... I just dont consume what is clearly something I am made to believe I would have need for. When I first met my wife ... we dated on week end's for over a year, and in them day's ... I done everything with credit ... I mean ... it was common, easy, and seemed to work. My wife coming fresh from Iran at the time (late 70's revolution) one day ...was laughing ... asking me if we all in America spend our paycheck's before we get them? I had to laugh ... because I never thought of that before ... she was right!

This isnt over ... but this denial was very important ... to show these weakling's that you cannot just shed a few tears and expect it all to go away ... this was a good foot in the ass ... and a "wake up" call. And no political party wins on this.The Democrat's were fighting for a few gifts and help for the peoples ... but there is also reason for that as well ... in the Democrat's interests. The Republicans were divided, on one hand wanting to do what is of their principles and letting failure find it's way and asking for thing's like the bank's themselves to start an insurance fund to help themselves for a change ... and other Republicans out of fear just wanting this to get passed ... and most importantly ... wondering what the effect's will be on their candidate for the Presidency? There is so much to detail here ... I couldnt even start at this time ... this is much deeper then the cover we are seeing.

Will this have an effect on us? ... heh, heh, heh ... did you see what happened in the DOW today within hours? What happened in the U.K. and their newest bank failures and rescuer's/ vultures? How China was glued to the market tapes and wondering what is next? Yes ... there will be some effect's ... and of course it will be a touch difficult to get them new car loans and home loans ... but it will make us leaner and meaner. The fact is that we have gotten a little too fat ... and it's time to trim down some. Or else we will clog the arteries of our economic systems even more. I mean ... California alone is already foreclosing on approximately 1300 homes a day as it is ... before today's rejection. Another thing is ... this enables us to sit back down at the table ... draw up a new offer ... and let American's get a bit of help out of this ... what they were all proposing was offering American's nothing except that maybe if they can profit off this buy- out we can get reimbersed. Do they actually believe that we are that stupid to take their word simply on good faith? Pleeeeease.

Just get you all's asses back to work and come up with a better plan ... and we'll think about it. In good business ... one hand washes the other ... in this case we been doing all the washing!

By the way ... I would like to see a collection taken up for (D) Barney Frank,Chairman of the Financial Services Committee ... to buy him some shirt's and tie's that actually fit ... you look like a damn slob Sir!

Democrat's, Republican's ... The Bailout ... and the American Taxpayer ....

After listening closely to McCain and Obama and their comrades on the Hill talk about their plans and what everyone wants in this package ... it has made clear to me ... that I support the democrat's on this ... and not even a sliver of the republican party. Just listen to what the candidates say on this ... you can see it on a number of news stations on tele or the internet ... the newspaper or any related publications. I am actually shocked that the republicans are going about this like this ... since the election is so close.

Thank goodness for democracy that this is being challenged so hard on the Hill. Both sides are unhappy with this though. Basically many republican's are upset because one it doesnt allow business to fail and feel the backlash from what these firm's do. Second because ... the way the plan was set up ... (and you can bet this plan was specifically set up by the Bush/Cheney administration) it actually has many loopholes in it ... such as Paulson and a hand selected group of his and Bernanke will oversee the whole show ... and things like allowing these companies to close and get bought out allows it's CEO's and largest shareholders to basically get what is like severance packages tax free at that upon their leaving ... which would amount in the millions for many. Enough money to start up any kind of business they want in any country. And most of this is a last attempt by Bush ... to milk every last drop for him and his associates future market endeavors before he leaves office and have it all in writing and tailored to their need's 2 or 3 or more years down the road. Understand that none of these folks whining now ... whether they get this bailout or fail ... will ever end up in the poor house. They will simply loose millions at the worst scenario ... but that's it. Again ... we are being milked to the max. They are playing the fear card on us.

If we dont bail them will it be hard on us? Your damn right it will! But NOT doom and gloom ... the more you have and the more you make will hurt the worse. Those who have almost nothing ... will hurt the least ... because their lives are already living day to day. It's harder to lose what you have then what you dont have ... if you get my drift. As for me ... personally I am a hard ass and have no mercy for them whatsoever. Will I hurt? Your damn right I would ... just like anyone else ... but I also realize that nothing in life that's worth fighting for is easy. They always tell us "what we NEED to do" ... for me ... I think it's high time we the people just say "No! we are going to tell you what WE need to do" and let them all fail. We will rebuild ... and never have to deal with them again or more excuses, whining, plea's, threat's, fear card's being played on us, backstabbing, etc.

Most likely we WILL bail them out ... thus meaning we will be locked into another contract that we can do without. If you keep putting out food for stray dogs on the patio ... you will never lose them or make them more dependent on themselves. But since we want the "easy" way out of this ... and these negotiations are already in progress for a few day's now ... it's basically a done deal. It's just a matter of those who are more in defending the peoples in this get something out of it as well for us and our country. And I would drag this out for as long as I can and really make these bastard's sweat, and crack the whip harder then ever. They deserve every bit of it. Why? Because all these folks from Wall St. to the Hill on all sides know what the score is here. Sure ... we kindly call folks like Bush "incompetent" ... and that's nice. But the reality is ... that all these folks are well educated, many have degree's in law ... and they have all played in this game of hypocrisy in one way or another for long. They whine ... that they dont know how exactly it happened? Well that's just more clever legal wording ... the reality is ... everyone has a good idea of what happened, but dont want to be the first to say anything. All you have here basically is a large group of liar's. Some may lie more in our best interest, some lie more in the best interest of themselves and circle.

Listen closely or read the statements of Obama and McCain on this issue. Obama constantly throughout his detailed plan constantly tell's what WE want in return, and what need's to be done, and want's figures put on the table during negotiations of what exactly we can lock into on a return of profits ... and just where and how they will be distributed, etc. McCain had no actual detail's ... just simply said that we need to have a bipartisan committee oversee this ... after Obama already proposed it and GOP strategist's designed a statement for him to make public. McCain again just basically talked about how we are hurting ... but if we dont move quick ... we will loose our homes, our jobs, our credit, our retirement ... all about what will happen to us if we dont act immediately. The only mention of money in his speech was when he said that this will require a sacrifice to the taxpayers of about $10,000 per household, but will save us from collapse. I actually couldnt believe what I was hearing. I wonder if they realize how much $10,000 is to a working class household earning hourly wages? Obviously they dont ... and this is really sad to hear McCain present this like that. I have liked McCain for years ... and I still dont think this is him! I think this is nothing but him being manipulated and used and the current administration is solely behind all of this.

Do we actually believe that they will go along with a plan that will reimburse Americans if they sell the company asset's and do well? I'll let you decide that. Because that is what Obama and democrat's are actually asking for ... they are even proposing a contract to where taxpaying citizen's become part owner's/ shareholders of these asset's! Which is great for us ... but it's not very likely ... you can bet the GOP side wont give us a damn thing out of this. Do you realize that even help for homeowners wasnt even on the plan they tried to rush through. For Petes sake ... if it wasnt for just a handful of democrats ... we would have been outright massacred! The boldness of Bush/ Cheney and the side of the GOP they have in their pocket is about as rotten as they come. This is why I say ... show no mercy whatsoever ... do not forgive ... do not explain incompetence excuses ... do not give them anything at all. Trust me ... they would let us rot in a heartbeat. This justifies extreme measures, this is un-American, un-patriotic, disrespectful to our troop's, their families, our veteran's, our Constitution. And the nerve to attack and have executed Saddam ... yet sell our asset's to the communist government of China! If these folks actually done things like this in China ... even failing the markets ... they would be surely executed, and some in America may even feel they should as well.

McCain also brought up this being an "economical/ financial disaster" ... for Pete's sake guy ... it couldnt have been more then a few weeks ago when the bailouts of Fannie/ Freddie or Stearns were going on ... you were just telling us that this "help" is needed to fix the problem ... and that we are economically and fundamentally strong. Goddamn ... which is it? I mean ... every goddamn couple week's it's a different story. Enough said ... it's all clear as day ... and if we cannot see this and react ... we deserve what we get!

America's "War on Drugs"... Instead of Thugs .... (WAR ON DRUGS PT.1)

First of all ... I want to make it clear that I am not advocating drug usage ... I know damn well better then anyone the damage of drugs on the body and mind. And when I say drugs, I really mean drugs ... all this crap about "good" drugs ... "bad" drugs etc. Screw all that crap ... as far as I'm concerned all these drugs our society feed's to our children for attention deficit ... or any of the other psychological crap they come up with are as dangerous if not more than the illegal drugs that are peddled on the black market. They dont even know what the "long term" effect of these psyche drugs are going to be. But our court systems and law enforcement agencies are all backed up with these senseless drug war's ... and it costs us a fortune actually, we could use that money in social services to folks with serious addictions and get far more for our buck then the approach we have today. I want to point out 2 cases here, one that I was involved with personally.

#1) A young lady I known was out partying one night with her girlfriends at some local club in Dallas, on her way home ... and she was NOT drunk, she stopped with her buddies at a late night diner to eat ... they got done and went their separate ways. On the way back to her apartment ... she was driving down Jefferson Blvd in North Oak Cliff ... a neighbourhood that has a tad higher crime rate than most ... and is almost entirely latino working class in that part of Oak Cliff ... gang violence has been of some concern in the community. She jumps a lane right in front of a DPD cruiser unit ... trying to get around the unit who was driving slower to survey the many businesses that line the Blvd ... for possible burglaries and such ... it's about 4am. She didnt use a turn signal ... and the cop seen this as probable cause to check her out ... it was kind of a bold move when there is hardly any other traffic ... especially cutting off a cop. When she got out of the car ... she laid her purse down on the hood of her car ... after she took her wallet out of it to present her drivers license. Unfortunately ... as she laid her purse down, a small plastic clear bag slipped out onto the hood of the car that contained a white powder ... of course the officer seen it ... and arrested her for possession of what was found to be cocaine.The amount was small ... under $50 worth ... but still a felony, just a very low rank felony, a class of its own actually ... not a prison term felony ... but a state jail or probation type in other words ... but nonetheless ... felony.

She bonded out went to court and took a probation in a cop out plea for 4 years, and agreed to go to drug class ... a group setting where folks whine about their drug busts/ use and try to help each other feel better ... which was part of the courts condition for the probation. This gal was NOT a hardcore addict or anything like that ... she was one of them young folks who just parties and does things on a recreational level (although ... that's how addiction start's). But ... she was now on probation ... and that has rules that you must follow. One of them rules is ... if you change your address ... you must tell your probation officer within something like 24 hours ... giving your new address. Well she moved and didnt give her change of address. Since her probation officer didnt know her well and she hasnt been on very long, the probation officer issued a warrant and had her arrested and booked on a probation violation charge. She got a little cocky at the hearing cause she thought it was so petty ... and they sent her to a state jail for a couple months ... in which after she got out ... was still on probation until finishing the initial probation sentencing of the first charge of possession. I dont understand what this accomplished. Did we get a criminal off the street? The time in the courts and the expense to the taxpayers ... was it worth it? The cost of the incarceration ... was it worth it? This gal is NOT a criminal at all ... she wouldnt even shoplift a candy bar, I know her pretty well. She was just one of them party folks that takes her paycheck on the weekend and goes out. While the arresting officer was doing his job ... arresting her and getting her booked ... how much actual criminal activity was going on in his patrol sector of importance? I'm not faulting the officer ... he's just doing his job ... but why do we have so many of our officer's across America fighting this nonsense?

#2) One night on duty as security in Uptown Dallas' West Village I was alone that night ... it was late and things were winding down at the clubs and restaraunts, it's the most pleasant time of the night on the job ... because it's winding down ... and the night peak is over ... and all is well ... that's all you can hope for out there ... cause you never know in a scene like that what you will be challenged with ... lots of folks intoxicated ... fights break out ... between lovers and friends even ... sometimes more than just a fight ... and deadly weapons might be involved ... sometimes suicide (only had 2 of them). But ... when it winds down ... and you're okay ... and everything was average ... you're happy. You done your job ... and no ones hurt ... that's a good night.

But this one gal was coming out of the bar ... she started down the sidewalk ... she was on her cell phone yapping and fiddling around trying to get something in her purse at the same time ... of course ... like 95% of everyone else ... staggering a little bit. But she dropped her purse ... and everything almost fell on the damn sidewalk, she was loaded and clumsy trying to pick up her belongings, so I figured I would give her a hand and help. Most was gal stuff ... you know ... a whole make up rack of items. But one of the items I picked up and handed to her was a vial ... that was clearly cocaine (yes ... I knew it wasnt speed ... how? ... I just knew) ... when I handed it to her ... she froze up ... and said ... "Uhhh ... that isnt mine Sir ... ". Believe me ... it was ... it was still rolling after it fell out on the pavement ... I actually seen it. I lowered my head not looking directly at her ... handed it to her ... and said ... "Ma'am ... I've had a long night and really could care less ... I got one more hour ... to call it a night ...". She quickly grabbed it ... said goodnight and thanx for the help, that simple. Was I wrong for doing that? Maybe some folks would think I was wrong ... but what would be the point of fiddling over this? She was fairly well dressed. My senses tell me she's not out to hurt or rob anyone ... so what would be the point of doing anything else? Should I have kept it? You know ... I dont know what is the right thing to do ... but to harass her about it ... or call an officer over about it is a waste of time and money as far as I'm concerned ... and will do no good to her as well. You got some folks out there that are really criminals ... doing heavy damage to nice vehicles just to smash and grab some CD's or cell phone ... or whatever else they can sell ... folks that are pulling guns on intoxicated patrons and robbing them or what have you ... this IS the real problem ... not a person like her.

RNC Day 4 ... "Out of thousands ... comes 200+ unsung heroes ... "

We hear about our military heroes defending our countries interests(unfortuately, they are also snowballed and not taken care of properly). But the heroes we hardly ever reckonize is the ones that are potrayed by our society and media to look as villians ... or anti- American ... or other similar silly pop culture nonsense. But these folks are the bedrock spirit of American democracy at it's finest. The same spirit that founded and molded our great nation of democracy.

Those who I am talking about ... and would like to congratulate and honour are all those who participated in the protests at the RNC in St.Paul, Minnesota. Especially those of Day4. Who had to clash with authorities and put their necks on the line for what they believe is wronging the American people. These 200+ that were arrested ... are American Heroes! Some were even treated worse ... but the point is ... they done what they felt they had to do. You may say ... "violence is not the answer" ... but understand that we currently are still a primitive species in which sometimes ... violence is one of the only choices. Most of these Americans were in their early 20's ... hadnt been around as long as folks like me ... and had the experiences that me and my generation had to live. But they have enough insight to see what is happening is a snowjob ...and need's to be ripped apart and discarded. And put their neck's on the line so that the people are heard.

It not only takes networking and organization and peaceful protests, boycotts etc. But it also takes those heroes who stay in the trenches everyday ... in the streets and clashing with the forces which they realize can only oppress our liberties and best interests. The spirit of revolution is all part of our great nation ... and has existed since day one. They are not fighting on foreign soil ... but their dedication is needed as well ... to fight on our soil ... and keep this nation a great nation with a vision and dream. As things like our economy struggle ... and folks slowly see their rights being trampled on ... unemployment rising ... more will join the fight to retain our freedom's. Do we need more violence? That depends on how we are dealt with by the controlling entities ... but if they dont listen in a civilized manner and act ... and instead shun the peoples interest's ... then its violence they should be dealt.

These folks are our unsung heroes for they try their best to protect us from tyranny . That is what "We the People" are about. These young which I look at as the "Iron Youth" are the future of our democracy as well. And congratulations to all those peoples of the globe who are doing the same thing in their countries to obtain freedom ... or keep the freedom they have!

Day4 RNC...Grand Finale..McCain accept's nomination for President...

Listening to the acceptance speech of John McCain was unbelievable.I cant even begin to tell what it lacked..but it indeed.."lacked".It was just so empty and bland..it was shocking.I actually expected it to be much more.Again..no explanation of how all these great things were going to happen.

What I mean is...as far as lowering the taxes..and still keeping special interests pleased.They want to ignore special interests?Dont be so silly and naive...how? Dont we realize that "special interests" have more influence in our government than "We the People" do?Until we wake up and realize all that we have and our true potential and actually get involved instead of staying pre-occupied with our gadgets and toys and this pop-culture addiction that is packaged and sold to us...we will continue to stay the way we are.We have all the tool's that we need to succeed..that is what our "Constitution" is about.

McCain said we need to stop sending hundreds of billions a year oversea's to countries that dont like us.This war continuation that he is willing to stick to for the next century in his own words is going to make that continue as well..and thats only one of several items on the table that will continue to take our tax dollars and hand them over to the corporate elite,corrupt governments..and even in the hands of our enemy.Our "cultural"upbringing with this,primarily in organized religions will continue us to believe in an ideology...that wasnt created by God...but instead created by folks who annointed themselves as disciples of God...to do God's work and lead us as...what they call"sheep".The Christ figure himself...Jesus...of the 4 gospel's would have been totally against not only the mega churches of today..but those who govern us...and even run the so called churches...since they are not of God...but of human's who have a passion to control and enslave.The 3 entitie's that rule us...are actually the same mindset of those who would execute a figure like the Christ of the Bible.So those who use these fancy word's to tell us they are people of God...are all liar's...if they were so concerned with a loving God that loves it's children...they wouldnt cause the constant conflict's/war's..pollute the earth, and make us slave's to their system with it's twisted ideology.Nor would they allow the hunger/starvation that exist's in a world so full of wealth.

This idea that we can just stop doing business with the foreign countries that are at odd's with us is also silly.Understand that as I write this...foreign lobbyist's from all over the globe are behind the scene's negotiating more business deals right here with our politician's on "American Soil"..they were even at the conventions...BOTH...the dem's and the rep's.The economics as I detailed in earlier posts of the 21st century are very different then a quarter century ago.Our country has been being bought and sold daily for the last several years and even more so today...by foreign investors...we cant just kick them out...they had invested their own damn money here...and bought even some of our failed institutions!Some of these new foreign investors might very well end up doing more for America...then those we elected of our own to do! Understand...they have our thinking all twisted.Because none of them...think as we do...because they understand reality and simply tell us what is safe.The real things that we should fear are far more frightening then any thing that we had to deal with so far.Even the Russians are lobbying at the conventions..for Pete's sake...understand the reality.The odd's of the people's of the globe...are actually the odd's of those that govern the people's of the globe.

But having to follow behind someone like Palin and try to trump her speech the night before...would have been difficult for anyone...this gal is a natural...in more way's then one.Even Joe Biden knows damn well in his heart that she will be tough to debate.John McCain is doing what he only knows and understands to do.Sure..he was in the trenches as a young man...and dedicated himself passionately...and that can never be taken away from him.But these last 30years on the Hill and living out of the trenches has softened him...and contaminated him psychologically.He dont understand what the American people are going through from recent experience...he understand's his past experiences and tries to relate that to what information he is fed from the trenches.He's a great man at heart...but dont really get the picture of what it takes for real change..and even if he did...like Obama or anyone...will have to realize that the entire system from inside out need's to be dissolved and baked from scratch.I think Palin has a better grasp of this than he does actually.

Day3 "Republican National Convention"...Palin rescue's GOP...

I first want to say...that I am an Obama supporter...and despite liking the walk and talk of Palin..I will vote Obama..I never break a commitment..unless I have no choice because of a drastic change.I voted for Obama because I liked his attitude and what he had to say.I like Palin in the same way..even more to some extent.And I kind of sensed a few days ago that she might be a problem for the democrats.Now many today in the media are still saying from the left that her speech lacked substance.It might have to an extent...however..their looking at it from a professional speech view.What the problem is...is the voting public will see it different...and many of those blue collar workers...rural Americans..and many family types in urban America will be attracted to her.She will get alot of folks like Reagan did.(Alot of the speech wrote by Bush' writers before she was even chosen)

Why? Because like Obama..she speaks out of the box..and is an image of the American Dream.Unless someone digs up some catastrophic allegations on her..she will blossom and grow amongst American voters.I mean...look at her family..they look better then the Brady Bunch!Her son ready for deployment to Iraq...her hubby..life long commercial fisherman,production operator in Alaska's oil fields,and to top it off,he is also a due paying member of the "United Steel Worker's Union"..and real comfortable in caring for babies!As far as the 17 year old pregnant daughter,that's silly and all the more relates to the average American..thousand's even younger then her get pregnant...in "god fearing" families at that...so thats just silly talk. A hockey mom on the PTA...80% approval rating in Alaska which is rare to find anywheres in the USA these days for a politician(But too..Alaska is a Lone Ranger type state like Texas..so that helps).She went up against her own party even in Alaska.The Intoxicated Driving over 20 years ago on her hubby Todd...wont hold much weight..Why? because..in most states these days...a few beers will show you to be legally intoxicated.And besides..when hubby was doing that..Obama says he was experimenting with drugs like coke and pot.(Damn..why do they always call it "experimenting"...I done drugs too...but damn sure didnt do them to experiment..I was young and doing them to get high!Even folks I got high with...we were all far beyond any experimentation).Put it this way...I know a good bet when see one..and Palin is one I would put money on so far.I am expecting everyone from "Rolling Stone" to "TIME" to "Vanity Fair" to exploit a piece of her too..why? Why else.. because this gal can sell!

I see her as basically a blessing to the GOP...because frankly..I see not a damn thing the GOP has to offer to voters.What ..protect us from terrorist's? Hell were gonna do that anyways..it's our damn nature as animal's to protect ourselves and in our American spirit!Republican's say they want to lower our taxes?What about lowering the record spending of their Bush Administration and party.We have no damn surplus...we even have thousands of bridges all over America in serious need of repair...remember Minneapolis?But we are having to spend billions in Iraq,Afghanistan,even now Georgia...and others that will come in time.How can you possibly lower taxes..and let the massive oil/energy folks go "tax free"..and even continue to spend money abroad when we dont even have any to spend here..use common sense.The republican's also have not submitted one plan yet on how they would achieve this.Sure..Palin has a record for ethics reform...but Washington and its deeply rooted way of doing things...is a far cry from Alaska.There is also more to the "drill baby drill" that they are chanting then what meets the eye,and energy independence.Why?Who are the ones capable of such a task?And we will "have to" butter their bread if we want to get them to do what we need.And how much foreign investment is in our petro industry? As I said in earlier posts...there is NO boundaries in this...the "globe" all drinks from the same well.We are being snowballed by all to believe in things that simply are not true(an old familiar story on many avenue's).

Besides..who is going to be calling the shots?..McCain...Palin is just a tool and sales-pitch...great window dressing in this.THEY WANT ANWAR!!!! Other talk out of republicans at this jamboree is..."Americans are worried about their jobs".."worried about the cost of gas".."about their mortgages"...etc...etc..all they are doing is re-dressing what democrats are talking about..tell us something we dont know..and most importantly..what the hell are you going to do about it?! For Petes sake..their main man McCain ...is a "maverick"...a man of "reform"..then what the hell has he been doing for the last quarter century?! On vacation? If it's all congress's fault what will change if he's President? Cause if he dont succeed then...it will still be the fault of Congress and partisanship...Geez...give us a break!Oh..I'm sorry...they said a dozen times last night that their economic reforms and ethics will start to show in 2013.Why not before 2013? Duuuhhh...cause we will have to re-elect them to finish the final round...which because of this and that and other unforseen events will have to get delayed again till 2017.Do you get my drift? For Petes sake..cant we see we are being sold a car with an engine with over 200,000 miles on it..and an automatic transmission..with drive gear not working as well as reverse?

I actually like Palin..and it's sad that she has to pull these losers out of the gutter...because without her...their relics and deadwood.70% of Americans think their childrens future will be worse then theirs.This is a very psychologically bad mindset to be in...optimism is the only way to survive and succeed in this point of our evolution.The Supreme Court...you can bet on it..that any nominee's will be in the likeness of Thomas,Roberts,Alito,and Scalia...bank on it.They wont get approved? Then they will get another group...the pool is saturated with picks! They say we dont need to be buying oil from these countries that train terrorists? Are you kiddin?!! The Saudi's have been our friends and friends of the Bush's for decades! The terrorists that struck on 9/11 were trained right here in the USA by...Americans!Where the hell do you think they went to flight school?!! They call them all Middle Eastern "tyrant's"? What the hell makes them think Iraq wont become like that? Besides...the energy/oil problem...IS NOT the fault of the Arab's...trust me...this is a much deeper picture then what us average voters see...and far more complex.The Saudi's have been one of the best friends we have had...in many cases treated us better then some of our so called EU allies!The actions of Bin Laden...hasnt a damn thing to do with the Saudi Government ...any more then saying that the actions of Charlie Manson have to do with our government...or the actions of Timothy McVey of the federal building bombing in Oklahoma City.Bin Ladens movement is a counter culture movement who despises it's own as well as the west.

They say they are the party of Lincoln,Reagan..and the nerve to compare themselves with Teddy Kennedy! Pleeease...this GOP isnt even like the GOP I was voting in 20 years ago.And some of the folks in this current administration are more tyrannical then those they talk about,as far as damaging to our nation.

The "Current Political Mess" ... and America's REALITY ...

No doubt that this election should be alot of fun ...because the closer we get to election day ... the more crap we will be fed by both sides of this. And the sad reality is this ... no matter who win's this election ... it isnt going to do much of anything for America ... especially the people. With the democrats there is at least a chance, of maybe getting a little break financially ... but we cant expect much. I know that the greener pastures are ahead ... I just dont know when. The political situation we are in ... is basically a rehash of the same. We have 2 sides desperately wanting to get chosen ... and making some great speeches, but where will we be in 4 years from now?

I like Palin alot too ... as an outspoken person. But I am sure this is deeper then we see right now ... and of course the present administration ... and probably the first Bush President along with Cheney got their paws in this. They want Anwar ... bad ... and Palin can make a great arguement ... especially to a desperate American people that are suffering from gas prices. Yes ... it can create jobs ... but what is the actual reality of getting much relief from the oil prices? The global market determines the value of our dollar ... the cost of a barrel of oil. Who will all be involved with the drilling? Who do you think? The large oil people ... who has always been in charge. We will be less dependent on foreign oil? That's very clever wording ... because the reality is ... the world oil market has no boundaries ... it's a "global" market, period! The Arab's as well as the Chinese and everyone else all will have their paws even in our domestic energy. We have NO surplus ... we are broke ... we are tapped out on credit, we already owe everyone from the Arab's to the Chinese ... and to top it off, despite Iraq's new wealth from all their oil ... we are still obligated to paying their way ... and now to add to it ... we are going to have to reconstruct any infrastructure the Russians destroyed in Georgia. I put money on it ... that we are going to be no better off 4 years from now then we are now ... besides maybe getting a couple government handouts. The worst part is the proposals of the republicans ... because there is no possible way ... with how and what they propose ... that it could make the peoples of America ... have any better financial situation ... and what the democrats have to offer ... is a little air ... but not much.

If we continue to support these large corporate giants that only send work out of the country ... we will need to support some foreign countries to try to give us jobs here. The dollar is low ... foreign investors are buying up America ... like a yard sale ... and it might be the only hope for an increase in jobs domestically. In other words ... just having to work for foreigner's .There is much wealth in this country, it's just that alot of the major American investors ... are not necessarily spending here like they did before. This is all a result of the globalization. The reality is that the world economy is much different now ... then even 20 years ago. We have to try to rathole every dollar of our taxes that we can too. Because we are not doing nothing no more for ourselves ... all our money is being used up to ... well ... take care of the rest of the world ... and the controlling corporate interests. This is why they want republicans in too. We are all blindsided without realizing it. They have us at each other throats on things like ... women votes, moral votes, Hillary votes, Obama votes, helping the troops ... etc. We are not even getting any help for our troops. You wouldnt believe over the years ... now many I have talked to in the streets and knew that were veterans ... and are sleeping on the streets. A country this wealthy ... should not have one veteran that has to sleep on the street or under some bridge.

2 to 3 days after Russians invaded Georgia ... Secretary Rice got on national tele ... to say we are going to rebuild the damaged infrastructure ... and already had a billion dollars for a down payment ready. Imagine that ... do you know it took twice that long just to get drinking water to the folks of New Orleans that were hit by hurricane Katrina? And thats in our own damn country. Today we have McCain and republicans taking advantage of this Gustav hurricane about to hit our Gulf Coast ... hoping for their ratings to go up from it. When will we wake up and realize that none of these folks give a rats ass about us except for what they can milk us for?

The real fun of this race for the White House has yet to come as well ... I think Palin was a great choice for the republicans ... and between her and this hurricane that is coming our way ... they think they have a cake walk. She said she will focus on the Hillary voters ... and alot of them are already hungry for her ... and they are still angry after weeks ... or maybe even month's now ... and will probably continue to stay angry since we still have these anti Clinton people bullying them, so this crap will just go back and forth ... back and forth. What is really going to be hilarious is seeing liberals (Hillary supporters) actually voting for a candidate like McCain ... who said he wants to mold the Supreme Court to abolish Roe/ Wade ... who has a running mate ... that would probably try to get "creationism" and "intelligent design" to be taught in public schools alongside with science ... and I think its safe to say from her record ... that she does not favour Roe/ Wade either. As individuals ... I see qualities in both I like ... but to actually get elected ... well ... heh, heh, heh, heh, heh ... I think we can do without them. Obama ... I like his attitude and words ... but in a screwed up political system like we have ... with all of its old deadwood ... how far can he actually get? Our politics are a mess ... and that's America's reality.

"Extreme Makeover"...the United States Government edition...

I call it "Extreme Makeover"..because that is exactly what we need.Once we repair our image and how we conduct business...we will find it much easier to do needed business..and renew alliances abroad...especially in the Middle Eastern part of the world.This is what I am hoping Senator Obama can do if elected President too.

I know it's a crap shoot...and Sen.Obama hasnt near the experience as far as foreign affairs are concerned.The flip side to that is Biden does..and I feel Biden is a fairly straight up guy..and can offer some important tips to Obama.My petty objections and questions about Obama are not really important..such as more specific's on health care...right's to own guns,etc.I believe right now...besides working on a speedy as possible recovery of our domestic economical situation,our other most important task...is to try to patch up our image worldwide.This has cost us a bundle.The amount we spent on this war for instance is incredible.And I feared this from day one of this invasion of Iraq...the costs of it.Obama was against the invasion as well..and very skeptical of the length of occupancy as well as the costs and lives of our finest defenders.But we cannot turn back the clock...what is done is done.

And Bush is not a commi or dictator by any stretch of the imagination.I sure as hell dont agree with his approach..but I believe I understand what he is trying to do.As I said in my earliest posts...understand the mentality of the long term investor.Let me make this simple and brief.A good economy globally means more folks with food at the table...and occupied with a job...less chance of being recruited by radical extremeists.Bringing this to a region like the middle east...creates stability in the longrun..but..IT TAKES TIME.The amount of suffering domestically Bush views as mild...why? Because he looks at the rest of the world and how little many others have,in a way..he see's us as spoiled.I disagree with this strictly because...it is we...who brought ourselves to this level...through hard work..I dont believe we should feel like we have too much...we have much because we worked our asses off and fought and struggled for decades to achieve all we have.Bush dont like communism...he feels that getting the Chinese involved in the world arena more will make them slowly dissolve their system and choose to be a part of a thriving system that will better the Chinese peoples lives over time...again...the "long term".While our standard of living might go down "some"...these peoples standards will go up some creating a more balanced quality of life...again,"over time" for the peoples of the globe.Why did he spend all our surplus? He looks at it as an investment...he see's business...not government..as what truely makes the world go around. He seen Washington as just ratholing billions and wasting money on pointless projects and such..and figured to put it too use and let business use it to...well...what he thinks..generate more business.

One of the problems with all of this I see...is over spending..and neglect of the interest's of those who employ him.Another thing...his diplomatic ways are not the best way to deal with alot of folks in other regions.This man isnt what you could call.."Mr.Personality".His actions have helped these radical groups to create a "cause" and to be successful on creating propaganda to make us look like bullies who are only interested in raping the world of natural resources like petro. The religious factor plays another big psychological role in the success of this.They can use this to say we are disrespecting their culture...the money factor plays out to look "evil".When folks are hungry,lots of time on their hands since they have no employment..and always in fear of bombs raining down on them and their families...it is easy to recruit them to oppose someone like us...and see us as evil.When we leave hundreds of innocent people locked up in prisons...for 3,4,5 years...without charging them with nothing as well...what do you think those who were incarcerated will say when they get back home?...and what will it make people believe? All the refugee's that have had to flee to places like Jordan..or Syria from Iraq who these countries like Jordan for instance are stretched now to the gill's..because they cannot handle financially the 100's of thousands they had to take in feed and educate.So what do allies of ours like Jordan think? I could go on and on.

I talk one on one to several folks from these regions...and they explain things to me...I never thought about before...simply because I live in the American mindset,so I cant feel how they must feel and think...just like I said in the past..about trying to feel like a poor black person feel's caught in an urban hole...that they feel lack of hope ever getting out of.This is why I try to hear everything straight from the horses mouth...so I have a clearer picture of the reality around me.

I am hoping that Obama can share his so called personality..and listening traits with others around the globe...and show that we are not only about what our adversaries portray us to be.And sitting down and talking with folks is not wimping out at all.It's only fair...and the proper thing to do...after all...thats not our territory or our culture...we should respect that.I am banking on it that Obama as President will be a very good communicator with others abroad..and a man..who will at least try to listen for a change.We have nothing to prove acting like roughnecks with everyone...why? Because its no secret how powerful we are..and our weaponry/
military power and such.Everyone KNOWS our power..and know when we DO bomb...we really lay it down.

We should not let these politicians pump us with fear either.Terrorism exists...all over the world...we have to live with it...at this point of our evolution,life is too short to spend it all dwelling on our fears...it will not make it all go away...TIME...will heal things...not worrying.But yes...our sourpuss government really needs a face lift.As far as Senator McCain...well...he speaks clearly what he's about...and in my opinion...far from a solution. Nor do I think folks around the globe will be waiting for him with open arms.We can do much better then we are,we have all what it takes...just the wrong old sourpusses running the show like it is 1965.

The money we have unecessarily spent on wars...only a fraction of that used correctly...could have bought millions of folks and have them working for us..and bettering their own lives..just a fraction!But to do that you need a good sales person...if you cant "sell"...you cant push your product..and you wont profit...bottom line.And over 4000 of probably the finest trained troops in the world died over this...troops that are supposed to be defending the USA.We cant get them back now! But our sales staff..is really pathetic...experienced or not.And we just need an extreme makeover.

On the issue of "Oil Addiction".... and "Energy Conservation"...

The other day...I was having neighborly chat with a fella that lives across the street. He brought up about the high prices of gas at the pump and how difficult it is to cut back...he's a interstate trucker by trade..and having to buy diesel is really kicking him hard as well.He say's that he tries everything possible as well around the house to conserve energy..and Texas has some of the nations highest utility costs right now nationwide.He told me according to the government...we should have our thermostat's set at around 78 degree's. He drives a full size SUV like myself as well..and was talking about things like "hypermiling"..which has become popular in the USA since the skyrocket of petro prices at the pump.He was curious as to what I do about the prices of gas and conservation of utilities at home?...So..I told him the way I see it.

First of all...I DONT hypermile. I was watching a "special report" several months back online of a fella in the D.C. area(Washington)who was supposed to be the nations top man in hypermiling..he took the camera crew on a cruise with him..and gave step by step instruction on how to stretch your gas and get at least another 30% to 35% mileage out of it. This guy had a fairly new Toyota or Honda(cant recall) car,probably 4 cylinder it looked like...roughly a 2 liter engine..which really is not bad on gas to begin with.But what I seen was insane..this guy was killing his engine constantly...had maped out pre planned routes to try to coast down as many inclines as he could...constantly throwing it in nuetral gear...not coming to complete stop's...not accelerating hardly at take off...etc.But his guy was a happy camper..because he said he just increased his mileage by at least 30%.And I certainly admired the man's innovative thinking.But at the same time...I was wondering if he realized what he was doing to his car?First of all...he was dogging the transmission which was automatic on top of that..and believe me..if you cant rebuild a transmission yourself...to get a rebuilt for a car like that..your at least looking at roughly $700-$800..minimal...and thats going to an independent.He was also dogging his engine internally..now just about anyone can figure out how to change a head gasket...but when you start getting into internal engine work...you damn well better know your stuff..and to take it to a shop is expensive. I had a buddy a couple years ago rebuild his own engine..it was an older quad-4 engine on an old Dodge...he never could get the vacuum right on the damn engine...it ran..but constantly would sputter.Probably the least expensive damage this guy in D.C. was doing to his car was wearing out the starter. But that is a hell of a price to pay just to get 30% extra mileage!

Driving the speed limit: recently in Dallas/Fort Worth there has been talk amongst local government to try make speed limits 55mph all over the metroplex..it's basically 55-60mph in central area's...and the far out suburban area's around 65-70 right now.This talk is an attempt to conserve gas. Now c'mon..lets be realistic. Do they actually think reducing the speed by 5 miles an hour is going to do much of anything?Right now...if you try even going the speed limit on a freeway..vehicles will be cutting around you and passing you so quick that you will feel like your going in reverse..and thats at driving 60mph.So be realistic.This is nonsense.

As far as keeping my home thermostat at 78 degree's,heh,heh,heh...well...to each their own.I keep my home 68-70 degree's year round.As for what Washington say's it should be...I dont care.Set yours at 85 if you want...it makes no difference to me what they do.But since I pay my own way for gas,utilities...I am going to do what I want...it's my damn money..and I frankly dont give a damn what any of these politicians say about that.They tell us to ride more transit...my answer to that is "you all ride the bus or train to Capitalism Hill" instead of them full size 8 cylinder SUV's all these politicians ride around in these days...even leave them running while they are inside so their cool when they come out and get back in.They say conserve more?...tell folks in India and China to conserve more...we dont have no damn shortage on gas!

As far as all these folks trading in their larger vehicles for small ones,heh,heh this is another...fad. You drop the petro prices back down to $2 bucks a gallon...you can bet the larger vehicles will sell once again like hot cakes!And alot of folks are not going to just go out in these tougher economic times and try to take out a new or slightly used car loan for some $25K to $30K hybrid..that they will have to wait on a list for a couple months because the manufacturing cant meet the demand currently. Can you imagine what it will cost to take a car like that into a shop? I want to wait a few years and do a longevity check on those vehicles that been on the road after a few years..see how their doing ...and what new cars like the cars from India coming soon will do...that get..get this...over 105 miles to the gallon..and run mainly on air compression...at a new cost of $17K.That will be built in smaller plants and quantities..not in India...but right here in the USA,with plants scattered all over the nation...and yes...creating jobs for Americans! As far as our political genius employee's in Washington...maybe they can have "dress down" day in the White House..wear t-shirts...and just use ceiling fans and open the windows...ride the train,bus,or pedal a bike to work...dont ask me to.If our gas goes up to $5 a gallon...I'll just pay it one way or another.As far as Bush saying were addicted to oil...hell it's folks in his posse that run the show and make that a reality. Do we realize how many things we use and consume daily that are a product of oil? So many it would take me 2 pages to list half of them...so the idea that we are going to just get away totally from oil is silly any time soon.Not unless we destroy everything we have and own...including our computers and software..and go live all in mud huts...so tell that nonsense to some sap that sucks it up. Politicians come a dime a dozen these days. And most are full of crap.They care about us at the pump? If they did..they would dip into the "strategic petroleum reserve"...cut the tax or a number of other things...not offer us $28 for the summer. They make the profits...we the consumer get no royalties...and we the American consumer also pay to subsidize it...they got more crap then a cow farm!

How can "We the People" ...trust what is clearly..failed leadership?

Mr.David Walker..former"Comptroller General of the U.S."...and currently President and CEO of the "Peter.G.Peterson Foundation",hit the nail on the head when he called our deficit in the United States a "leadership deficit".Because that is exactly what we have.

Americans have bent over backwards already..without no help...and are still getting snowballed by our "employee's"...who are our failed political and financial leaders. And I am not going to blame it solely on President Bush...because to do that would be unfair..because it isnt just the President.Example:...we give our President a blank check for instance on this Iraq war...and we complain about it.But the reality of that for instance is "who" approved this? The same folks who are complaining about Bush' spending and moves on the Hill...are the same folks that approved it and gave him a "green light".When he ask's Congress for something...they wimper about it over 3 hour lunch breaks...momentarily get their panties in a bind when the media shows up..to apply their "window dressing" in worthless gripes and comments to the press...go right back in session and approve the President's request's and proposal's!

These operative's we have running the show...are very good at budget/fiscal irresponsibility is about it.We dont have even proper efficient control of our borders...we are over confident and over extended globally militarily as well,and still fail to act more on a President who is as well damaging our global alliance with many. And does any of this sound familiar? You guessed it...ancient Rome. They lasted over 1000 years...how long will we last at the rate we are going? We will act in time...but the sooner...the better.And they basically inspire us and encourage us to act like them...basically spending before we get our paychecks,borrowing more and more..equity mortgages..more credit...more wasteful spending...etc.And it's alway's...more and more taxes they want...for this or that..especially for those abroad who after we help them...and pay damn near their entire way...end up backstabing us when our nipple starts dripping instead of flowing(milking process).

We the People are the ONLY ones who sacrifice...period! And according to a recent Gallup Poll...the approval rating of Congress for instance is at 14%...the lowest it's been in over a quarter century..and I dont need to tell you who DOES approve. First of all...we need to "MAKE" these folks act more responsibly with our damn money!We need to cut them off...period!Washington is clearly out of control.And you cannot do that without...strict and tough statutory budget controls...hell...we have to do it to ourselves and families on a daily basis..and we need to make our "employee's" do the same.Reimposing budget controls lost back in 2002 is a start. Because all we are doing is "mortgaging" our children's future at this rate. We can raise and raise taxes till were blue in the face...but until we learn how to divert them revenues to beneficial channels...we will never get out of the foxhole.In the last decade...New York has raised their taxes 71% as an example of the "tax game".We have many on the Hill that tries to make us believe every time we have a problem...that throwing money at it in some way solves the problem.

We need alot of new folks in Washington too...all these experienced professionals are the ones who are getting us into these messes..and this is from both major parties too. This is about We the People and our constitutional tools.How can We the People trust what is clearly failed leadership?...expire them.

Where can we buy.."intrusion detection software"?...how about "CHINA-MART"?

Now that we have the important issue's cleared up as far as peak sales on the Obama and McCain "flip-flop" sandal's that been selling like half price rock(crack).And that we have confirmed that John Edwards had sex..and confirmed that Russia dont give a rats ass what we think..I figured we could move on to another issue.So I figured to throw in my 2cents on foreign countries that like to spy,which has went on forever...but it should never be taken light hearted.As I mentioned in my earliest post's..America is being ganged up on..and we better wake up and be aware.

Lou Dobbs brought up an interesting point about why Americans visiting the Olympics in Beijing were having their hotel rooms gone through when they are not at their rooms? Well...according to the Government of the "Peoples Republic of China",any of the governments actions at the Olympics are within accordance of international standards..and they would have nothing to do with such allegations like espionage. And that's nice...I feel better that they responded to that..and properly..after all what else would I expect them to say? That they are obtaining all info they can when folks arent occupying their rooms?

Ever wonder how secure our intell is at our DHS(Dept.of Homeland Security)? Put it this way...securing "intell" is something I know a little bit about,not much..but enough to know that what we have set up from what I have gathered is so insecure that you could organize a bunch of teens smoking blunts(pot in cigar wrappers)to crack out key info on their PC's..and pay them in pot! Even according to Rep.Zoe Lofgren(D-CA)...we dont even have any "intrusion detection software" installed! This is no joke...this is the reality of our DHS..I could go on and on here!Even Secretary of Homeland Security Michael Chertoff himself submitted a memo of concern citing the problem of vulnerability of our defense intell.."CLASSIFIED" as well as unclassified. DHS'proposed solution is to create another department within the department,and to now require that Americans who frequent foreign countries(my daughter would be included in this since her job requires foreign travel as marketing coordinator for an international company)to report ALL contacts when travelling abroad. I support this 110%...but is it enough?..and most importantly
...is it too late? It's NEVER too late...nor is anything ever enough.

We need to also understand that the new wave of terror will become more technically efficient .... 9/11 was a tragedy for us .... but it was also a failure for the group responsible .... why? Because with the population of the World Trade Center workforce/ occupancy .... 10's of thousand's was the terrorist's planned objective obviously ....more like at least 30 to 50 thousand casualties is what they were planning considering the plan's they engineered .... what happened is their timing was off by less than 2 hour's .... the mission obviously was to shut down Washington, being the Capitol and Pentagon, or at least to temporarily paralyze, as well as the market affiliate's in the Trade Center' to disrupt the market's .... then if all went as planned .... most likely individual terror cell's independent within say 48 hour's would execute several other terror hit's domestically, meaning .... yes .... there are far more sleeping terror cell's in the USA than we actually realize ... they didnt act because the 9/ 11 stunt actually failed and didnt go as planned, which crippled their mission, we had some luck you can say. Some of these sleeping cell's will stay here and for year's to come become more technically computer savvy ... and even new wave's or terrorism using cyberspace sabotaging everything from financial institution's to our power grid's, etc, and they will buy and recruit from anyone, they dont care if it's China (although China has an investment now and wouldnt want to terrorize us or have any to do with that, but individual's would) to folk's like MEND (Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta) of the Niger Delta to any other inde that has a plan and something to sell .... the list is endless of possiblities. This is also why we need to be more on the "up and up", on what is happening ..... we havent seen nothing yet!

We currently have as well at least 3500 front companies of China operating in our country to acquire(some may say"steal")info on our technology..and what some may call"secrets"of trade and so forth. Imagine that! What a price to pay just to get cheap products and to try to get communists to change their ways ...heh? One day we will wake up...we have taken 6"inches already...maybe by 10" we will finally say ouch!...that's enough.One of the American tourists at the Olympics that had his personal belongings went through while not in his room for instance was Rep.Mike Rogers(R-MI).Why would they need to rummage through his personal property behind his back? And you can bet on it ..it wasnt an underwear fetishist!

Recently former Pentagon Analyst Gregg.W.Bergersen was sentenced to 5 years for passing info/intell to a spy for the "Peoples Republic of China" who he thought was just a furniture salesman in New Orleans by the name of Tai Kuo. He thought that Mr.Kuo was aligned with the Taiwanese Government and the info/intell was to furthering the establishment of a new sophisticated air defense system for Taiwan ...supposedly. If you buy that nonsense.With tears in his eyes prior to sentencing he said he was sorry for what he done...Sorry?..well if he thought it was for Taiwanese defense and all that...why was he sorry? He was obviously sorry because he got caught!The fact is that Mr.Kuo spent thousands on Mr.Bergersens gambling addiction in Vegas...even promised Mr.Bergersen a "job" after he retires the Pentagon.Why he only got 5 years is puzzling...the initial prosecution called for around at least 7to9 years...maybe it was the tears..heh? Who knows...maybe the traitor will get lucky and get a pardon from Bush the end of this year.In China he probably would have been terminated. I could go on and on...but I made my point that we can NEVER feel secure enough...this is something we should not be so relaxed about...and stay always on top...after all...the security we talk about here is not about terror bombers..this is far more important...because it involves our investments and future financial security and keeping our economy vibrant...with our technological achievements...without that...we will live on our knee's to a communist or dictator regime...that makes Bush look like a boyscout leader!

They go to Florida...wrestle a gator...pay the retired Jews of Miami Beach a visit,go to New York...say a prayer at "Ground Zero"...maybe toss a first pitch in the Yankee's game(baseball)(excluding Senator McCain)..they go to Missouri...and ride a farm tractor to the local burger joint...go to Texas...slap on a Sombrero (mexican hat),hug a mexicano,eat a couple taco's in Lower East Dallas...They go to Oregon..hug a couple tree's..go to Pioneer Square in Downtown Portland to talk about "human right's"...make a stop in San Francisco...hug a couple homosexuals...ride a trolley,make another stop in Los Angeles..hug a couple more mexicano's..visit the Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Blvd to see who's hand prints they fit into,eat a couple more taco's....visit a military base and shoot a couple 3 pointer baskets.This coming November...it is all up to us...the American People to decide..who will be "America's Next Top Millionaire"?

This is not to insult folks who are millionaires at all...I enjoy being able to live in a country with so many millionaires...because it shows me that this is what one CAN accomplish in this country..I dont have to see equality,bordom,and poverty all the time,like in so many 3rd world countries and accept that there is nothing else to life.One night while on duty in Uptown...a gal pulls up in a baby blue Bentley sport coup "06"..I escorted her to her restaraunte...which was common to do for the ladies in the late night hours for protection...during small chat I asked her how much she gave for the car..it was nice...she told me $220 (thousand she meant).She told me she takes it out on a Far North Dallas Turnpike in the wee hours of the morning..and takes it up to about 120mph or so, to you know...work the engine good,at least once a week...she built her own company from scratch..and made a million..not given to her. That's what America is all about!

But what is hilarious..is how hysterical we all get over trying to make sure those we vote for are everyday people. We in a way...make these folks do things with our media as well...that they just simply wouldnt ordinarily do. How many Sombrero's do you have to wear...or taco's you have to eat...or cheap beer you have to drink...or homosexual's you have to hug before you would get sick of it?Or any other thing you have to do to show people that your "normal".Then when any one of them...so much as fart's...we drag it out for day's wondering what was the cause of the fart.Some of us gripe over the expensive homes they live in...the reality is...if you are in a position like that...unless you have a home like that to entertain your guests,you will no longer have your guests support...because they will lack faith in you,meaning you loose their financial support as well.Senator Clinton had to come and dig up probably $20 million of her own cash...I mean...most of us would be aggravated coming up with $20K of our own cash for anything.Yet...we criticize her,and to be frank...she's a hard worker...period. Being an Obama supporter and seeing the criticism fellow supporters give her is ridiculous.They criticize McCain for being computer illiterate...maybe he dont like sitting on his ass on a damn computer,Obama gets criticized because the media portrays him like a rock star,is it his fault? Or because his name is muslim sounding...that's what his parents named him.You could never make President in this day if you werent a millionaire..period.

They are not on our social level and couldnt be if they wanted and keep their ranks.They have nothing to prove to me as a voter except wanting to take us as a nation forward...and making the right call's at the right time.But I need to change the oil on the SUV...it's about 95 degree's outside,today's high (August in Texas...normal),and if one of them candidates want to change my oil for me to prove how regular they are...I'll accept the offer I guess.
