This selection and induction into this journal's music/ arts honour roll society is late but a must, to highlight some of the work of "In This Moment". This is really quite an impressive crew actually out of the Albany, New York area, and I credit this strongly to this foundation constructed by Maria Brink and Chris Howorth, as far as choosing where they want to take this project?, it seem's that they had quite a mix up in the direction especially that they wanted to take it, with quite a turnover in member's in it's young history of since 2005. But this chemistry that they seemed to have finalized on seem's to have hit the spot to say the least. I was really impressed with the showmanship and vocal work power of Maria (who also is a keyboardist) when I first stumbled onto them, and this current line up seem's to be a first class crew across the board, they are simply considered as falling into the heavy metal genre of music (at least that's the bill's they been working on), but frankly I'm not quite sure where I would put them, except an excellent crew with some really nice idea's, aesthetic's, audio/ video production, composition's, performance, etc, almost more of a highly polished type metal in a way, at least in my opinion, because looking at this crew, I can only imagine what kind of turn's they can take in future work, and if they stay with this line up of member's for awhile, which I would think should be settled by now, they fit nicely. It also seem's like they got just the right backing they need to take this crew place's, and seem to have quite a network of support in the established industry ... so these guyz ought to be an interesting project to see what become's of them. The influence's that I see here is a really wide range as well. But some really fine work here and wishing ya'll the best too! ... Enjoy! ....
