"Police Brutality" & "Incarcerated American", it is also a Part 2 for ex- Baltimore Police Officer Michael Wood (Part 1 here), and Part 2 for Jesse Ventura (Part 1 here). This is Michael being interviewed by former Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura ... and looking at more details as far as what need's to change in this nation with the newest "War on Citizens", as Michael call's it, and the decades long "War on Drugs". But more from Michael as he explains the issues and what has created the atmosphere today in America. After that I included a couple video's to sample of what this war on citizens inspires citizens (criminal or non- criminal ... in America or abroad even) to think and react to, when they become oppressed to the point where there is no choice left ... and people see no law and order, simply because the LAW is what's DISORDERLY. When law loses it's credibility, it will deteriorate any respect for it as a result, and that disrespect can and will grow if nothing is done about this clearly tainted and corrupt lawmaking, and THAT RESPONSIBILITY is not only ours, but these so called lawmakers. Several points that Michael makes here are what is key to our problems, he points out that the No.#1 problem is getting money out of politics ... I agree with him 110%. Money in politics is what has taken this nation on the downslope that it now is, and this isnt nearly as bad as it will get before it gets better, trust me. And YES ... our 2 party political establishment is also just as much the blame, the fueling of excessive amounts of political money (which is basically legalized bribery) currently has contaminated our elections, voting, media, liberties, environmental issues and food/ health/ products safety concerns, is cause for the current endless wars we are in, the terrorism abroad and more recently domestic, pushing this austerity, and NOT only our country, but it has spread all over much of the globe, monetarily dictated by the same people that corrupted our politics, and instigate all this ... which I point out so much about throughout this journal even. In our country the privatized prison system that I point out here in detail how this corrupt incarceration racket worx in this "Redeem Act" posting, with all this war on drugs just feeds the fire, the politicians legislate and allow this, and dont think for a minute that the Democrats or politicians of colour are exempt, we know the Republicans are corrupted, they actually admit it and are open and honest about it, as well as their agenda ... but the Democrats hide, lie and cover what they do, put on a smiley face and pretend that they are about serving the peoples interests only ... when it comes to money and allowing this to happen, which contributes to our communities decline, economically and otherwise ... both sides "establishment majority" are in bed together, sure they have SOME differences on petty morality and social issues, but when it comes to our money and tax spending priorities and legislation of some of these laws that incarcerate so many for basically nothing, they are like lovers in bed. As Michael sayz, the system today is established to where the motivation for officers is the war on drugs, which leads to the war on citizens, and the only way to move up in ranks is to beef up arrests and stats, you are put in a situation of getting a shitty detail if you dont get the stats, and to get them, you have to go for the most vulnerable, in turn, the classism feeds the racism. You cant move up simply being a good cop in the community very quick, and sometimes in some areas and departments, not at all. Michael himself is honest ... he was a BAD COP and admit's it, plain and simple.

The 2 videos I posted after Michael and Jesse is to give a basic example of the growing disregard and even hatred towards law enforcement, in time unless we make changes, this will grow ... again let me point out, we have all the tools necessary, to change things even quickly. The thing is, during this evolution period of growing hatred, it will grow to where many in politics as well as those with the most wealth will regret, to where not only law enforcement, but politicians and those who financially feed them, as well as their businesses will be targeted, more of what would be called domestic terrorism I guess. People wont just resist in their communities anymore, once they evolve and learn who their enemies are, which is bound to happen in time, even some of the investments and properties will be on the hit list. Sure, you can control and monitor most of the people most of the time, but not all ... all of the time, and it will come in various forms and from various directions ... bottom line for all those dictating this ... it will be bad for business. It is importante to be responsible and conservative when it comes to spending and economics decisions ... to an extent ... but at the same time ... it is equally healthy for business and prosperity to have some socialism too, when you go too extreme in either direction, whether it is left or right, since that is how most think, or get too greedy and addicted beyond self control ... that is where you lose balance and fail. Today, this "extreme greed" (not moderate, which is naturally instinctual) has became simply a "fad", fed to us in Hollywood movies and on the tele and iPhone ... it is "cool" in a way to some ... even some fashions and music are designed to promote it. Dont let how I write mislead you ... I am also a person who likes money, nice cars, I hustle, work, love free market and business, I gamble in the casino's, bet on football, play the lottery, etc ... the thing is ... I dont prey on the most weak and vulnerable to rob, deceive, etc. I understand the importance of balance ... and there is plenty of business out there to be had and made without taking down the most vulnerable, and it keeps true healthy order and stability in our societies. What does this or even the economy have to do with excessive police force, brutality and unjust incarceration? ... it is all connected and makes it all grow like a cancer out of control. People like Michael are needed more than ever, and I wish for Michael on this issue to be called upon by some in government for advice.

SAMHAIN/ HALLOWEEN 2015 GREETINGS: ... In Culture, Art & Music ... (HALLOWEEN PT.7) ... Inspired by Miriam

Samhain/ Halloween Greetings ... this Part 7 for the "Halloween" series of this journal is to take a look at some of the culture, music and art of the season, instead of the haunted houses, and the commercialization of it today that it's widely associated with. It is a tad early for me to do a Halloween posting, but so many decorations are already up around the neighbourhood, the season air of cooler weather is here with fall and winter on the way ... so why not? {:-) What inspires this posting is a neighbour here in Dallas named Miriam ... during some small chat the other day, Miriam told me ... "I'm so excited about Halloween Tom, I get to make myself up as a cat, I have a different cat- face design every year I create", etc (giving more details) ... I told her ... "Well, good to see you in the old Samhain spirit Miriam" ... she then said ... "No ... I dont sew anything ... I just put together clothes I find and paint my face as a different cat every year and wear my cat ears". What made her respond like that, is that when I said "Samhain", I pronounced it "Sow- in", in fact when I told her how it was spelled, she couldnt understand why I pronounced it like "Sow- in', so I explained that as well to her ... (though, not to be confused with the horror/ metal/ punk band "Samhain", that is actually pronounced like it is spelled) But Miriam didnt know a thing about the roots or culture of it, she simply enjoys dressing up and socializing with her friends or whatever to celebrate the evening, like so many Americans. After giving Miriam a briefing on the roots and culture of the season, she was fascinated, saying she was going to look more into it. I also told her that her name has roots that go back to ancient Hebrew, even though she is Mexican- American, she had no idea of that either ... so I told her that some of the earliest use of the name is ancient, and some can be found in the "Book of Exodus", Miriam being the older sister of the prophet Moses.

You know ... Halloween is something different to so many cultures and people around the world, or many dont even celebrate or know a thing about it. To some it may be getting in tune with nature, honouring the dead, the harvest season, counting their blessings and to pay homage to nature, the Gods and Goddesses, kidz getting to go door to door "trick or treating" for candy and goodies, some simply like to dress up and party, some pay to go to haunted houses to have the shit scared out of them ... others like religious Christian fundamoralists of America associate it with people being possessed by evil spirits that make them worship their contemporary Devil character they created as an adversary of their belief's/ institution ... the corporate/ business world of course see it as another way to make a buck ... since it is the 2nd largest day in retail/ sales next to Christmas as far as folks spending money, or those in Hollywood, may use it to make another slasher/ gore/ ghost/ horror movie, etc. So this posting will look at some of the culture part and music, which will also be included in this journal's music/ arts honour roll society. Whatever it may be or not to you ... it identifies with the season and weather change as well ... so if you celebrate this day in whatever way you do ... have a Happy Halloween/ Samhain! ... some video and music below ... HILLARY CLINTON (PT.1)/ PBS NEWSHOUR INTERVIEW (07 October 2015) ... with Ranch Chimp Intro and Opinion

This posting will be to highlight a video interview I just happened to catch last night watching the PBS NewsHour on the tele, the interview was so good that I couldnt resist to have it in this journal, being that it is the first interview I've seen with Clinton in this campaign session where she is sincere and straight, and not just repackage Bernie Sanders points. I wanted to try to cut down on these political postings in this journal, unfortunately our politics though has had such an impact on our lives, so this is why I still post quite a bit, because of how critical and manipulated they have become. I am a supporter of Senator and rival Democatic Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, so I have no reason to try to promote Hillary Clinton, nor have found any reason to vote for her ... but when I see a person is straight, I have to credit it. In the past I have had serious concerns on where Hillary Clinton stand's on several issues, I seen her flip- flop on things, including trade such as TPP and same sex marriage, Keystone Pipeline, and a list of other things, because I'm old enough to remember some past politics. I have had a problem with her deep corporate/ banking/ Wall Street ties and obligations, in particular had a problem when she ran against Senator Obama, and she just tossed the idea of a 20% public option try- out in the trash as he proposed even as President Obama. I thought the "20%" try- out was a great idea, being that I know how importante the health insurance industry is to our economy, so you cant just totally gut it too fast, it has to be transformed through a process (and everything in this country is insured, not just health care, so the industry has plenty to invest in and expand on), even though I like the idea of a single payer or government system that some other countries have, it takes time to set- up considering the economy ... to start with a 20% option would do that, and no ... it would NOT drive insurance companies OUT OF BUSINESS, it would transform, widen and make it a more competitive industry ... and still those with plenty of money can alwayz go with any private health care they choose, as they alwayz do anywayz. The intense expensive lobbying the medical, pharmaceutical and insurance industries done over health care was simply to maximize the profit line is all ... nothing else ... they seen a chance to grab at something like ObamaCare/ ACA ... and just jumped head first into the cookie jar ... it was like a sudden "go- for- it spree" cash grab. Understand that any time citizens/ voters ask for something or reform ... there will be banks and corporations lined up to put their blueprint out first to fatten their profit margin, where they solely draft up all the legislation and damn near leave our own legislators out of it, and many times through lobbying efforts, be able to twist it, you dont think they spend millions and billions on lobbying out of patriotism, eh?

Judy Woodruff below of PBS, asked Clinton if she maybe underestimated Russian President Vladimir Putin ... I feel that everyone in Washington and even some in the EU underestimate Putin. When I look at Putin, I see a strong as steel hard- ass, a determined man, who has probably no fear of anything or anyone or even death ... I look at him like a warrior, and a man like him, I would never underestimate, I feel old school KGB had a lot of influence on him too. One thing in particular that grabbed me about Clinton, was her view on the TPP deal they been running this fast track crap on ... I think she is sincere and does not trust it, at least many areas she is having concerns ... and I agree with her on that, BUT too, those concerns were brought on by so much public atencion to this public/ politically, otherwise, she may have never re- evaluated it. I believe her sincerity as far as "questioning" some of it, but dont really believe she would abandon it ... I understand the "importance of trade" though. BUT ... this particular trade package, I would revise/ restructure the entire thing, despite the work that has already went into it, make it more transparent/ public, and with a more diverse, balanced and clear wording, with more input besides just major corporate lawyers, and even if China views it. In 1993 while she was First Lady, her husband and President Bill Clinton signed NAFTA into law, and we see now 2+ decades after, what good that it has done for American jobs ... basically NO GOOD AT ALL, in fact we lost many job's, environmental and workers protections as you can see here. Yet ... at the time, President Bill Clinton and everyone else behind it, said it would be great for jobs, the environment, trade exports, workers rights, etc, etc. Because of this and other history on our so called great trade deals ... trade cannot be just rushed through without careful thought, based only on hot feet corporations in a hurry to push their needs only. I agree with her that "trade" is very importante, and her point on how the middle class is just as importante to our domestic economic, social and security need's. And in trade to make sure we have some leverage, because I know damn well that many are pushing this because they have worries about China, and really no one is hardly talking about that. I like China and the Chinese as far as being a future partner, but I also question their agenda (not the peoples, but the government), I know that China despite how open and free the market has become in recent years (my nephew spent a couple years there and filled me in on quite a bit), about 4/5th's of it is still mostly owned and controlled by their government, and China is a Hell of a lot older, and more determined to sustain their wayz than the U.S. I feel they look at themselves as the leader of the future instead of just a partner with "anyone" ... they want more control, and feel they are more qualified, and realize the bargaining power and influence on the global market they have.

One of the biggest issues in media addressed here is this damn email server shit, which seems endless, and a distraction from serious issues ... I have to support her especially on that, I dont think she done a damn thing wrong, I see this issue as strictly political and being relentlessly pounded by the GOP. I tried reading up on this some time back, some of the accusations I read were ridiculous, even blaming deaths on her, she used the email accounts without giving it much thought of the possibilities of crap that would be targeted at her. I believe she is sincere on this ... she used the email like anyone else, doesnt know all the in and outs of technologies, and had no intentions on doing a damn thing underhanded. I also believe that if she were a President, that she would be more considerate and more compassionate in understanding the peoples need's overall, than any Republican candidate/ President. Her stand on gun control legislation ... I dont see a thing wrong with it ... is it wrong to simply ask for background check's? ... well ... some of us act like it is. I am very pro- right to bear arms, as anyone can see throughout this journal, I cannot believe that anyone "pro- gun" or not would get so bent out of shape over a background check and tightening laws that are already in place for the most part. These recent mass shootings are what is driving this whole issue ONLY ... so when gun laws get tight, dont blame it on politicians ... blame it on those small percentage that go out when they wake up in the morning with the red- ass (angry) and decide to play out their shooting spree fantasies they been planning on. Another thing that I noticed about many of these mass shooters ... is that they have a history of pharmaceutical drug use due to mental issues, prescribed by doctors, which as you can also see throughout this journal I feel is a problem, all these mind altering drugs they are trying out on kidz period ... as I point out here or even here. I even talked to an event organizer at a pro- 2nd amendment rally about a year ago, who told me, he actually thinks that certain people with mental disabilities are targeted and given/ prescribed these drugs to set them off as like time bombs, orchestrated by the top crust who want to disarm the entire public ... I have no reason or evidence to believe this myself though.

Sadly we still have a mass domination of this 2 party duopoly (as Jill Stein called it) in our politic's, so most focus is ONLY on these two mainstream parties, even though it will change and transform in time. I know that right now 2015/ 2016, the Democrat Party is worried about too much control going to the Republican's, and I have to agree with them on that, even though I am not a fan of the establishment Democrat's, but it is true, that the GOP has a "fast track" type agenda, and they frankly dont waste no time when they see opportunity, they act at the drop of a hat ... and dont negotiate or half- step when they do. The GOP agenda is an economical hard hit to America's middle classes and rights of American's (from property and small business owners rights, to women's rights, to civil and voting rights), and very anti- free market. Another thing, the GOP wants to gut ObamaCare/ ACA as a top priority, I see this as a disaster, sure I think it needs reform, the whole medical/ health industries do, but they should have never let their corporate constituents solely draft it to begin with, now they're just trying to gut it ENTIRELY. Regardless of any flaws the ACA may have, at least there are no spending cap limits on a persons medical needs, and some other extra's it offers, so just gutting this completely is not a wise move in my view. But one reason why the Dem's are pushing Hillary so hard, besides what I see as a establishment pre- planned Obama- Clinton secret deal, is they feel they cant win with a Presidential candidate like Bernie Sanders, being that the GOP media will hammer the socialist card (Sanders identifies as a independent Democratic Socialist) and paint him as a communist, which will worry some more right leaning voters who dont understand the differences in these terms, and wait in lines to vote against Sanders ... as they did fearing that Obama was an Arab Muslim undercover plant, and even not American.

Dem's are so bloody worried, they're trying to push VP Joe Biden, right after his son died, just to have big name contenders to go against someone like Bush or Trump ... and to take some focus/ atencion off Sanders, and I even like Joe Biden personally, but he is not my choice, any more than Hillary Clinton would be. But I feel VP Biden is a decent man, yet I dont even think he is more qualified than Hillary Clinton, Biden is also in bed with Wall Street a bit too much like Clinton. I also want to point out as far as qualifications and establishment experience, despite my differences with Hillary or her branch of the Party, my choice of Sanders over Clinton had nothing to do with her qualifications or experience ... (we have had already at least a quarter of a century of Bush's and Clinton's as it is ... and Wall Street would love to see this culture continue) so there is no candidate in this Presidential run right now of any party, that is more qualified and experienced than her, as far as knowing and keeping the system the way it is ... but also, you CANNOT expect any reasonable change, looking at her history ... not unless she actually really changed around and "evolves" (as she would call it) to be a little more progressive. Her experience that is, as being former Secretary of State, First Lady with her husband President Bill for 8 years, her term as New York Senator, behind the scenes in so many critical foreign dealings, the insider line, big money recognition, etc. Also, even though Donald Trump is probably considered the master of business out of all these candidates, I feel Hillary could run him some competition even ... although I would like her to be more like Senator Elizabeth Warren, when it comes to business. But that's it from me, and Hillary Clinton below, video and/ or transcript.

This posting to serve 2 series of this journal, "The Awakening" and "Out of Line with Jill Stein" ... and the title of the posting was all inspired by Dr.Stein as well. The video interview with Jill below is an excellent picture of how the these debates are orchestrated and controlled, I mean, you really have to be hardcore these dayz following your party ... or as Jill would say "Duopoly" ... to even sit through these debates. I actually watched parts of the GOP/ Republican primary debates on a later date, much of it, but not all, and I had to do that in multiple views because of the dullness and not to get zoned out on boredom, it was THAT difficult to get through ... if not for Donald Trump, it would be a total flop ... just like without Bernie Sanders on the Democrat side would be, I mean ... look at the politically correct deadwood in these things as far as candidates. I would guess that the Democratic primary debates will be similar, and the DNC been trying to cut back on debates unfortunately. I am a supporter of Senator and Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders, so that is why I will actually sit through the whole Democratic debate. The push and lack of transparency in the Democrat Party side, I figure has to do with the strong push for Hillary Clinton, because establishment Democrats feel that if a candidate like Bernie Sanders got to be the candidate/ nominee, they would lose to the Republicans in the elections, simply because Sanders is such an outsider type, and the GOP would play the "socialist card" big time, so they figure the only big name they have is Clinton, and especially with her experience, deep establishment and corporate roots (even going back to her dayz pre- politics while on the Board of Directors for WalMart, while WalMart was fighting to keep unionization away from their employees, and keep them at minimal wages), and the big Wall Street money that is behind her, they been grooming her for several years now, but didnt expect I guess, the recent obstacles and lack of trust and enthusiasm from progressives. The American people are getting more fed up by the year as elections and these 2 parties continue, which is a positive in the right direction, because change is inevitable, and the sooner the better.

I myself these dayz, have to side more with progressives than anyone else, because of what they stand for and act on, concerning the real issues we are up against, despite any petty differences I may have, I support the majority of their idea's. The establishment Democrat Party to me, is just day old leftovers with hardly nothing to say, but pointing out what is wrong with their rivals basically ... a party (Dem's) that I been supporting/ voting, and that I try to give the benefit of doubt to, for the sake of the party and being a strong opposition to the Republican's. I would like to see Bernie run as an independent, but the way this is rigged, he has to run as a Democrat, and would love to have other party choices with stronger exposure and backing, I would love to have more open and real debates as Jill Stein and other organizations are challenging. Like many other American voters, I would like to see a more open and un- rigged debates process, whether it's in the early primaries within their parties or later debates, the whole damn thing, just like the way votes are counted and taken, need's to be reformed and repaired, and more of what fair/ balanced debates and elections should be. I only say that the Democrat Party is day old leftovers ... and the Republican alternative is even worse, being that the Republican's idea's have already went into a state of Rigor Mortis, because understand, that I have voted since the 1970's on a regular basis, that's like 4 decades, and this country is in the worst shape I seen it in my entire life, being that it took both of these parties and the back and forth endless games they play and bitch fights to get us here ... so for me, it's almost like 4 decades wasted politically.

The coverage as far as mainstream media on these debates is enormous, yet it is so boring and stale, with a rehash of the same ole same that goes from one to the next, I dont even agree with the one lady below interviewing Jill Stein comparing it to a rock concert, at least a rock concert get's you energized and really is moving ... these debates and politic's today are so dull and pre- programmed freak shows, more like some cheesy tele show shit like "Jerry Springer" or "Dr.Phil" ... yet they keep us in this "fear game" that if we dont choose these heavily paid for candidates we will fall off the Earth, and programming the audience to get nonsensically excited with enthusiasm as Jill would say, over tax- payer/ citizen rip- off crap, like making more war's and austerity, with campaigning that look's so phony and rented/ leased by a bunch of corporations ... it's just sad. I dont blame the mainstream media though, I like MSM and think they have some great journalism of the topics they do cover, I realize that they too are controlled to an extent by the same corporate communism, or what I call "Corporatcommunazica", that controls these elections more than ever today. One of the main points to voting and our politics is to move "forward" and "better" our lives as citizens and our country ... NOT to move backwards and worsen things. As I mentioned in the last paragraph as far as voting these 2 parties for 4 decades ... you have to wonder looking at the current condition ... what happened in that time frame?, and who is responsible?, eh?
