Why the name Ranch Chimp? it was in humour because, science says that humans have similar DNA to a chimpanzee,so I felt some way related biologically to a chimpanzee. 2nd, everytime I was out of Texas on a vacation or for whatever reason I’m always asked things like, do I live on a ranch?,or have cattle? so I commonly call Dallas the Ranch. "Politically Depressed" was also humour inspired by the 1993- 2002 Bill Maher TV/ tele show "Politically Incorrect".

SAUDI ARABIA & U.S. LOVE AFFAIR 2017: Their Discontent with Dissent & The U.S. Cowardly DISGRACE to DEMOCRACY ... The "Tribal Society" Edition ... (ARAB WORLD TENSIONS PT.11)- (HUMAN MORALITY PT.22)
Trump, Tillerson, Ross dance with swords in Saudi Arabia ... Thanx to Times of Oman
This posting will serve the "Arab World Tensions" and "Human Morality" series both of this journal/ blog. I opened above with a video of President Trump's visit to the Kingdom and their little tribal dance he engaged in with these sworded Royal Saudi bunch of fellas, and even ole Secretary of State Rex Tillerson joined in ... and frankly, none of these SOB's can dance worth a shit, none of them even have any sense of rhythm and has to be some of the worse choreographed shit I've ever seen. Many people viewed this meeting and dance here in America, and many thought it was sort of cute, entertaining, etc ... as for myself, I thought of it as a goddamn disgrace to everything our democracy and American society should stand for and should be against, and the ass- kissing overall is beyond belief. Another reason for this posting is because I still run across folks here and there who have no bloody idea what Saudi Arabia is about ... and I understand, I myself years back thought it must be like a paradise of wealth with high schoolers driving Mercedes and Aston Martin cars ... a gentleman I know who worked in Saudi Intell for over a decade really enlightened me too. This is an issue for everyone regardless if you're left or right too ... right now the establishment left will criticize the right for Trump doing what he insulted Obama for doing, and if it was a left administration and President, the right would do the same ... bottom line ... most Presidents since F.D.Roosevelt had to kiss up to these Saudis both left and right and continue to. Years back President's like FDR or Eisenhower could be excused to a degree, because they didnt have the background that we have today on Saudi Arabia, and remember, when we first went to them ... they were piss poor. Plus it gives us leverage in that part of the world, along with our strong ally of Israel and protection for them. I mean, our business with oil production made them the wealth power they are today, and they just are hog wild with their power and violations and oppression on not just the Saudi people, but neighbouring countries, migrant workers they imported in from Asian and African countries, and how they treat many of those. I commend the Saudi people for the resistance that they gave their own government especially ... these folks are tough as steel and been weakening slowly their own government. The Saudi people go through Hell, and particularly women in that country, they tough it out, because frankly the U.S. and U.N. stand by and just kiss ass, which they could do much more. The Saudis slowly have been loosening up on their strict oversight, but very slowly. Some may say it's not our business to get involved ... but to me, it is our goddamn business since we financially fed them, and do high volume business with them, and they have too much vested interests in our country.
I feel that the west playz/ hustles Saudis for the oil markets, and the Saudis play us, and I suspect indirectly fund terror groups to keep the U.S. on alert in panic mode and in need to kiss their asses and give them defense support. Saudis are feeling the pinch these dayz, they are getting opposition out the ass from their own people, their oil wealth is running thin ... so now they're scared and trying to buy more into the U.S. and other countries for investments into more avenues of industry and technologies, and hoping for more investments to build their own country up more ... other than what they can use us for, they frankly dont give a shit about us. I myself am strongly opposed to giving them too much leverage in our business and investments in our country, but our country mainly does whatever major multinational corporate and banking/ finance interests and lobbies tell them to do, and most of our president's today are suck asses with no integrity, not leaders, but flunkies. There is frankly nothing to fear by putting our foot down with the Saudis, the only people that should fear, are the wealthiest investments and the Kingdom. U.S. has the power to lay down the law and set shit straight, just like the U.N. does, but both decline like cowards. No, America wouldnt even have to worry about terrorism increases if we slacked off in the regions affairs, the terrorism in the west would drastically decrease, and our defense spending on intervention would decrease. We dont have to worry about oil these dayz, just in America we are producing at record highs, and we wouldnt even have to go across an ocean for that matter with all the import business we can do with countries of just North and South America, while investing ourselves in renewable energies infrastructure and technologies. So frankly as far as the Saudi government in my view ... we dont need your ass for a damn thing. As far as defending our country ... we have a military defense that is second to none in power in the world ... dont fuck with us or sell woof tickets like North Korea ... and we wont have to come down on your asses 10x times harder on striking you back (such as our response to this attack/ war, which was justified ... at least President Truman got the job done) ... simple. So it's only the wealthiest people of the world and their paid political flunkies, our duopoly U.S. corporate politics and folks like the Royal families that have to fear, and do everything they can to maintain their powers. Their discontent with dissent from people, is because they know that people whether in America or Saudi Arabia dont need their sorry asses for a damn thing ... they're not elite, and are weak without us to pamper, support and fight for them ... most of them are worthless to societies in my view and overpaid backward pieces of day old shit, and like any old dried out shit, will one day turn to dust and disappear. I selected some links and video below for the reader. In the first link it's said to be graphic, but needs to be, so we can let reality set in instead of the bullshit were told, and realize who we are choosing to be friends with and letting dictate to us.

GREG GIANFORTE ASSAULT CASE 2017: When Our REPRESENTATIVES have NO REGARD or RESPECT for The PEOPLE or the FIRST AMENDMENT to the US Constitution ... The "RADICAL RIGHT PARASITES" Edition ... (PUBLIC PARASITES PT.12)- (SELF DEFENSE PT.33)
"There's nothing in the Bible that talks about retirement. And yet it's been an accepted concept in our culture today. Nowhere does it say, "Well, he was a good and faithful servant, so he went to the beach" ... The example I think of is Noah. How old was Noah when he built the ark? 600. He wasn't like, cashing Social Security checks, he wasn't hanging out, he was working. So, I think we have an obligation to work. The role we have in work may change over time, but the concept of retirement is not biblical" - - Greg Gianforte
______________________________________________________
Alicia Acuna details candidate's 'bodyslam' confrontation with reporter ... Thanx to Fox Business
This posting will be for the "Public Parasites" and "Self Defense" series of this journal/ blog, which will look at the assault on Guardian journalist Ben Jacobs by Congressman elect Greg Gianforte. I opened above with a video with Fox News reporter Alicia Acuna in fairness, because a person may read the title of this post and just say that I am some left- wing radical that is going to slam Gianforte's actions, she is a reporter for Fox News, which is right sided news ... and for the record, I myself am a former straight republican voter. But, I am going to slam Gianforte's actions though, first based on the first amendment to the Constitution which I alwayz supported, and the increasing amount of attacks on our rights. President Trump who supported Gianforte, after the assault calls Gianforte's win ... a great win for Montana and America. As a representative for the people whether Montana or any state, even when running for office, Gianforte has a responsibility to answer questions of journalists and people, on camera, town halls, campaign trail, at home or office plain and simple ... if he cannot answer it, he should be straight and say he simply cant, dont know, etc. Some folks like Trump or the locals in Montana may compare this to a simple brawl, as if it was a fella at the bar over a ball game or whatever ... but it's not, and the excuses for this I been hearing are incredible and ridiculous ... people actually blamed the reporter for asking the questions that the majority of Americans want to know about their healthcare.
Even though Gianforte is so respected and praised for the nice sweet guy that he is, successful in technologies, business, well educated, etc ... he is not respecting the people he wants to represent or the Bill of Rights. I added a quote from Gianforte above under his photo to show his other side for example when it comes to a person retiring. He brings the Holy Bible into it, saying the Bible dont mention retirement, etc ... he sayz that Noah was 600 years old when he built the ark? ... WTF!!?? ... are you kidding me?! Where in Hell does some of these ancient middle eastern sci-fi bedtime stories compilations of the Bible even come into our 21st century America labour standards and Social Security/ retirement? ... that hasnt a bloody damn thing to do with our money, our retirement (and yes, Social Security is OUR money that we pay in) ... or even our damn country and democracy! And no, I'm not trying to insult peoples faith in a God ... understand that these stories in the Bible, were not wrote by God, but by men and tribes ... a combination of history, family tree stories, wars/ feuds/ victories, ancient culture and fiction/ fantasy, etc. Writings that were then hijacked by a bunch of rich wealthy scholars, rewrote, repackaged and published to be fed to slaves/ serfs ordering them to submit to the masters and kings, telling you, you will get a reward when you're a corpse for spending a lifetime kissing their asses, in short.
These folks like Gianforte are nothing but bullies and parasites to the people, they dont represent no one but those in their circles basically. Ever since Trump started running for president and after his election win, this type of right wing bullying on Americans that exercise their rights has intensified, and every time they get away with it ... it emboldens them to escalate their attacks. There are even many in Washington's republican establishment that even want to rewrite voting laws/ rights, repeal rights like free speech with amendments to the Constitution ... they publicly talk about it even. I also am a supporter of not only the 2nd amendment, but ones right to defend themselves on every level. If Ben Jacobs would have pulled out his pen or used the frame of his glasses to stab Gianforte in the balls or whatever ... I support it 110% ... he couldnt get to Gianfortre's face or throat unfortunately because of the hold/ position Gianforte had him in, so go for his balls. Some think that is violence to think like that ... and maybe they're right, but it's Gianforte who struck first ... I mean, I just think like that and believe in defending myself ... it probably goes back to my childhood or whatever, and being in a inner city environment around violence, receiving ass whippings and getting stabbed myself from bullies and having to fight back. Even when Trump was campaigning or even as President ... when people express and exercise their right to free speech, they have goon squad type bullies (like prison/jail guard crews) that start busting heads of our people and kids, large grown men even beating women half their size and kids ... you know ... fuck these bullies and defend yourselves whatever it takes.
Some of these people we respect and look up to of wealth and politics, many who have never even fought for this country, have no goddamn respect for us or our rights and sell us out to the nearest hedge fund manager or foreign capital interests ... just because someone has alot of money or power, doesnt mean you should have unconditional respect for them ... they are nothing but flesh, blood and bone, just like you. Gianforte after his big win sayz he's sorry, during that apology to his supporters in Montana, many of his supporters though in that win speech are happy he attacked this journalist, and they support these actions, just like our President does ... and support handling our peoples business, money and rights with no transparency even. I dont know what Ben Jacobs is going to do ... and of course that choice is his. Many say to just forgive it with this lame apology as if it was a bar fight ... but this is more than just a regular brawl between a couple guyz ... this is a further attack on our democracy. I would hope at least, that Ben prosecutes this guy to the fullest extent of law if anything, and perhaps sue him for damages as much as possible ... even if you dont want the money ... take it and give it to charity or someone who can use and appreciate it. Some news on it from The Guardian below.

SHERIFF JEFFREY MANN: When one DICK DICKFLASHES another DICK ... Looking for LOVE in All the WRONG PLACES ... The "Flash Crash" Edition ... (SEXPLOITATION NATION PT.35)
Sheriff Jeffrey Mann
Part 35 of the "Sexploitation Nation" series of this journal is to review the unusual but funny case of DeKalb County Sheriff Jeffrey Mann, who was arrested after exposing himself/ dickflashing another cop/ dick (dick was a term used years back for cop or detective), which I couldnt help to laugh trying to picture it going down in my head {:-) heh, heh, heh, heh, heh. Sheriff Mann is now charged with 2 misdemeanors of not only indecent exposure, but also obstruction for running from the officer he allegedly exposed himself to in Atlanta's Piedmont Park one recent evening. Anyone familiar with Piedmont Park knows that it's also known for being a "cruise" at night for gay guyz picking up on other gay guyz while taking a late night stroll ... years back in the 70's and 80's there was alot of cool bands, musicians and pot smoke- ins that I remember too. But the public criticism of Sheriff Mann has been harsh, and he has my sympathy ... I mean, the Sheriff didnt really hurt anyone, so stop being such pussies about it. We live in a semi- puritanical country, that gets their panties in a bind over every little nonsensical sex thing, blowing it out of proportion. This is not to say that Sheriff Mann is guilty of these allegations/ charges ... but just to say ... if he did do it, he was simply looking for love in the wrong places. Below some newsread/ video linked, and to close out the posting I wanted to dedicate that old classic song from Texas' own Johnny Lee to Sheriff Mann in humour ... which I thought of since the lyrics of the song were perfect for this story. Best of luck to you Sheriff.

TRUMP: No politician in history 'has been treated worse or more unfairly' than me ... Thanx to Business Insider
This posting will serve the "How to Privatize America" & "Political Corruption & Ethics" series of this journal/ blog. This is some news that has not really been showcased as much as it should is why I wanted to do this posting ... it is much more importante than wondering who is spying on or hacking who, and related silly chat over Russia. This has been lower profile side news of sort that quickly became sidelined on the bench ... I mean, the biggest news over this last week or 2 has mostly been about this Comey and Trump investigations, allegations of dealing with Russia on the sly, etc ... all basically worthless, unless you can set grounds for an actual impeachment process ... if not though, just another distraction that will amount to nothing of any worth to Americans. I opened above with a video of President Trump the other day in a commencement speech to the 2017 graduating class of the US Coast Guard Academy. He made a good point as far as standing strong against opposition of course, but he also done this to publicize and play the "victim card" as well ... so his point about standing strong though is importante, which inspires me to stand against what he is doing to our country in this posting, and frankly I look at Trump as not much more than a unethical and corrupt spoiled brat, who has cheated business folks and taxpayers in the millions over the years. We are also spending way too much on him privately as if he were a damn sheikh and his familia was royal ... and this is "familia", because his son- in- law Jared is key in this and will make a nice bundle off this, these closed door dealings are not transparent to the public.
And YES, I have been more than fair with Trump and gave him the benefit of doubt as well in previous postings ... so please dont categorize me and my opinions as coming from this politipop culture left wing only perspective, I'm an independent who is both liberal and conservative. As far as his comment about himself as a politician being treated worse and unfairly than any others in history ... I have to disagree, I mean, how short sighted does he think we are? Just in my lifetime (which goes from President's Eisenhower to the present), the most unfairly and worse treated President has to be President Obama. President Obama, despite his unique bipartisan qualities and having to deal with the mess the Bush/ Cheney administration left, was shit all over on relentlessly through his Presidency and called names far more worse than Trump has ever been called ... just imagine if Obama was to pull this shit like Trump did with the Saudis as you will read below, and muslim clerics calling Obama a "servant of Allah" what kind of criticism Obama would have received on top of all he already got. But before I go on to my rants any further ... I linked some importante newsread/ video below as far as paying for Trump's vacations and these P3's (public private partnerships) he's pushing ... Thanx to Congressman Ted Lieu of California also for pushing this pay to play vacation SWAMP (Stop the Waste And Misuse by the President) bill. This posting is also an extension of my previous Trumphrastructure posting ... also a link below, how Texas/ Austin is rejecting Trump's infrastructure vision already, which I'm glad of. After, I will add my part below.

Thomas Hudson Pickering (Ranch Chimp) & wife Rosalie
For those conservative Americans that supported Trump 110% with good hopes, that stand for liberty, rights, sovereignty of your states and country, rebuilding America with fair trade and business, etc ... so far you been supporting the wrong man, plain and simple ... just in this short time President Trump been in office, he has been the epitome of neoliberal globalization and poster child for corporate communism. When I read what was going on above in the news, as an American and Texan ... I was downright disgusted. And it is so deep it's almost unimaginable all this coming so quick from a President who recently in his campaign focused so much on making America great again, how countries have been shafting us, opposition to radical Islamic terrorism and Sharia Law, cutting spending and free rides for Wall Street, draining the swamp in Washington, being an outsider, etc. What President Trump is doing in this, is expanding the powers of Wall Street, and especially of countries like Saudi Arabia (Empire Files), who been wanting to invest in America much more with a passion, and they already have too much vested interests as it is in our businesses, spending and politics. The Saudis are simply looking to triple and quadruple their gains/ return investments quick for their own sovereign wealth fund and making infrastructure and development in techs, communications and everything else in their country, using our government, taxes and many American based corporations and finance to do it, and the investment is considered "low risk". Trump's crew expecting Saudis will invest $40 billion here of their money into "our" public infrastructure? ... you have to wonder why? I would bet somehow through backdoor legislation in tax laws, that we the American taxpayers will indirectly pay for it all ... while the Saudis profit enormously off whatever they invested in here, all at our expense one way or another.
All we do these dayz, is let oligarchs drain our finances/ revenues to where we have to depend on them to do what we should have been doing ourselves with our tax revenues and businesses. I mean, you should tell us that Mexico will pay for it, because that is how stupid the President and many in Washington thinx Americans are. On top of it, I dont like giving so much power over our country, business and legislation to Saudi Arabia, plus they have a horrible record on human rights or any kind of rights of people alone that are not in their "royal family" circles. They ARE NOT a democracy, and if they havent changed in the 80 year or so span that we been dealing with them and feeding their regional conflicts, how likely is it they'll change much any time soon, eh? But this is all twisted in to the neoliberal globalization shit ... I mean even recently, they just put Saudi Arabia on the UN Women's Rights Commission as a member (Fortune) ... imagine that!, this shows how deep this agenda is ... Saudi Arabia is a cornerstone of Sharia Law, and a top oppressor of even women's rights worldwide. It's one thing to sell arms to them, but to let them have more control financially and politically in America is insane, because these conflicts, interventions and back room deals we involve ourselves in over the decades alwayz have a good first appearance, then a sour outcome, and we end up getting the shaft more ... I have seen this time and again where friends become foes and vice versa just in my lifetime with various bad pacts we made and paid too much in support. The trillions that we spent alone and continue to on intervention projects in this region of the world could have taken care all of our own infrastructure issues or other domestic needs.
For the millions of muslims that think that President Trump may be being guided through prayer to help them or whatever, and thinking that this will miraculously make muslim countries better off for them ... you are pissing in the wind, this will also intensify even more oppression of various muslims around the world in time economically except for the chosen few at the top such as those within the Saudis empire. Anyone that gets out of line will be attacked and forced into more regime changes and austerity, such as what is happening in Syria, Iraq, or the extensive bombing and oppression in places like Yemen, Palestinian territory, the possibility of teaming with Saudis to force regime change in Iran ... or wherever else they decide. Another objective in this, is to form an alliance of global finance that breaks big power countries that have more sovereignty and control over their governments ... meaning they want to force China and Russia for example, to play their way or face a reduction in economic leverage and trade down the road ... China and Russia knows this too. The whole point to get rid of any government, socialism or communism for instance, was to replace it with corporate/ banking communism. Saudis for example are trying to buy into everything, not just here in America where they are already into everything from transportation to communications and politics, but around the world as well to widen their power/ reach and sovereign wealth fund. The Saudis know that just being dependent on their oil is going to hurt in dayz to come without more diverse international investments, plus this move really boosts growth in infrastructure, development and industries in their country. They fear that strong civil disobedience will come in their own country soon, and they been feeling their own spending pinch, and hearing the dissatisfaction of their own to where they needed to scale back their austerity (Bloomberg). America/ West made Saudis the power and wealth they are with our petro/ oil tech intervention and business over the decades, and frankly without our defense, they would be scared shitless because of their location in the world and their neighbouring countries.
As far as our own infrastructure problems in America ... this is why we been milked for years ... to force us to depend on privatization for everything we need now and shut down any of our taxes and spending of being governed and managed by our people. These so called private public partnership deals have been shady, and I'm glad to see Texas challenge this as far as this $30 billion of private funding for these 18 road projects, and to examine and challenge carefully this estimated $270 billion in transportation infrastructure costs that are being planned for Texas through 2035. People here in Texas are being very outspoken about all these toll projects, and are going to avoid them too in mass numbers. We can build highway infrastructure ourselves with our taxes, put a state toll, when the tolls pay it off it becomes public ... we done it time and again. Things like this "asset recycling" crap of leasing our state and federal assets in return for money that can be spent on other projects that lack funding needs to be carefully dissected and examined too. What would they want to lease and why, terms, etc? ... I have many questions on that one ... I dont want to lease federal land for fracking as example. I'm pro- business myself, and am all for private investment, such as Texas High Speed Rail, air transportation, freight transport, commercial/ residential development, etc, there is plenty of options for private investment ... but I'm not for making every damn highway/ freeway in America tollwayz though, or taking over all our public schools, public/ national parks, libraries, social services, police and fire for example. What we been seeing is a takeover of all our infrastructure and business, while the public which are supposed to be partners in this so called "P3" gig are shut out entirely, and the road were on, it's just a matter of time before we own less and less of everything from our public services, schools, to our homes and businesses, we will have no voice in our contracts, only being dictated to by CEO's, and only be able to frankly just boycott everything in time in solidarity to get any hold on it.
Word Out ....

Johnny Winter- Interview- 11/ 4/ 1984- Rock Influence (Official) ... Thanx to Docs&Interviews on MV
This posting for the music/ arts honour roll society is way past due, to honour and feature the great Johnny Winter (wikipedia) from down on the Texas Coast city of Beaumont, I mean like, I been planning for Johnny to be in here for a few years! A few postings back when I posted the piece on the legend Robert Johnson and talking about some of the great progressive amplified blues sounds that were inspired by Robert, I couldnt stop thinking of Johnny ... Johnny falls into the cream of the crop category when it comes to this. Not just being a excellent blues rock guitarist, songwriter and blues vocalist ... Johnny also produced 3 Grammy winning albums for Muddy Waters, as well as several other Grammy nominated recordings, he's a Hall of Famer, and worked with so many in the industry of not only blues but rock ... I'll let the Wiki link handle much of that though. I myself havent seen Johnny "live" since back in the 1970's ... but can tell you, this guy when it comes to blues picking and slide on guitar, Johnny really smokes ... and I also had the opportunity to see him in a small venue back in the day with good acoustics. I opened this posting at top with a "84" interview with Johnny to give a little background and his roots in music, and basically coming from a familia of music. Of course his brother Edgar Winter worked with him too, as well as Edgar going off into his successful rock music career in the 70's. Back in those dayz, union card or not, there was such an open invitation in music, it hadnt got too corporate controlled at that time as it is now. When I first moved to Texas in the 1970's, I was living in Houston, the scene was wide open and loose, with such a good amount of venues with so many great blues and rock music locals that I never even heard of, me coming from the east coast. I was so excited like a little kid in a goddamn candy store wired up on sugar ... because mind you, this was a time when America coast to coast was saturated with disco joints! I had the opportunity to sit in and jam with many folks myself ... who just said ... "come on ... grab a mic man", like a big social gathering of various musicians, that were experimenting with everything except pop music or disco.
For this selection I wanted to mix it as much as possible and keep it "live" ... I open below with Johnny in Barcelona doing "Stranger Blues" because of the excellent slide work that he does on this. Then I put up the "Tabacco Road" piece that Edgar worked on with Johnny, because Edgar does some really great blues vocal work and sax on it (he plays keyboards as well on it). Also when I look at Edgar's compositions, he tended to incorporate a jazz lean in them ... where Johnny's compositions tended to lean to blues ... at least in my view. Below that, I had to add the classic "Mean Town Blues" which is a favourite of mine, especially with Johnny's vocal work and blues guitar work. I closed out with the Stones cover of "Jumpin' Jack Flash" for a little classic rock and roll. Enough from me ... Enjoy!

I try to cover what I can in this series, and dont put anything in this series unless I see clear cut brutality and excessive force. But because of the frequent amount of innocent people being killed in America by law enforcement, it's hard to keep up with them all ... this is a small local blog and I'm not a professional writer or journalist, and just keeping up with this blog is an effort at that. I opened this posting on top with a news video with Dallas County District Attorney Faith Johnson, because Johnson made the right move as far as arresting and charging Officer Oliver of Balch Springs PD with murder in a quick manner without the usual grand jury review ... there was clear probable cause and evidence to indict right away without waiting for months with no transparency, period. And I would hope that DA Johnson pursues this trial aggressively as she did indicting Oliver, because sometimes you may get an arrest/ indictment, but then the case gets twisted in the trial, and the accused officer ends up with a slap on the wrist. Too many times across America whether Texas or elsewhere ... it is just opposite, with fiddle faddling around behind the scenes, no transparency from courts, little from law enforcement departments, even in clear cases of murder having extreme difficulty getting arrests and convictions of any in law enforcement, etc. Because of this delay or lack of action and reprimanding even officers when wrong, and having an increased militarization of these departments ... rogue cops are on the loose coast to coast these dayz that are emboldened more and more each and every time they are allowed to get away with criminal actions, beatings, including murder. Balch Springs is an independent small city/ suburb ... BUT ... it is in the County of Dallas. One of the biggest problems in America is the politicians, local, state, and in Washington ... they have all these crocodile tears in press conferences or on the campaign trail about these murders by police and brutality ... but what the fuck are they doing to change these deadly and excessive force policies? ... as long as you tell police to do these things by legislating law, they will do their job as such. The key to this is PRESSURE on these politicians, and they come on both the right and left, some of the most worst cases of this brutality these dayz, is in what's considered as the so called most liberated, culturally and politically diverse areas of the country ... why is that?, dont take my word for it ... look it up and see for yourself. I mean ... many of our politicians are creating this domestic militarized police battle ground, that puts our citizens and children in the line of fire.
Press conference from the family of Jordan Edwards, the teen fatally shot by Balch Springs police. ... Thanx to The Dallas Morning News
As far as kidz ... my heart goes out to Jordan's familia, being a parent and grandparent myself. Jordan is the dream kid of many parents and teachers actually, no gang affiliations, straight "A" student, involved in Mesquite High School sports in football, laid back and easy to get along with, does pretty much everything the right way, eh? ... I mean, this kid was like in the scholarship category. Jordan's dad Odell looks very familiar, I'm almost certain we met somewhere, someones home, social gathering or whatever ... just cant place him, but feel sure we met, talked or something. This happening in Balch Springs to me is surprising ... I'm familiar with the area and frequent over there because I know folks in neighbouring Mesquite, and the "Pleasant Grove" area of neighbouring Dallas, and far east Dallas, I live about 20+ miles straight down LBJ Freeway in northwest Dallas. Balch Springs is a small suburban city with only about 25,000 population, it is really laid back, it has a very rural type atmosphere at that, very familia oriented, etc. I mean ... what in Hell was this cop thinking, firing a MC5 Modern Carbine rifle at a kidz party in a residential neighbourhood like that?, do you realize what stray or deflected bullets from that type rifle can do in a tight residential area like that? ... especially with this officers professional shooting background, U.S. Army background serving in Iraq, etc. ... this is NOT a combat zone. Not even from what I read, should the other officer with Oliver used his firearm to break out the window of the car at that ... and the shots fired into the passenger window were targeted to kill, they were head shots at a fairly close range ... windows of the car were up and no visible weapons, threats or gunfire at that moment ... the shots were heard according to the body cam while officers were in the residence, not at the vehicle. Officer Oliver has been suspended in the past, even made to take anger management classes for going off in a Dallas County courtroom, and even recently while off duty, in a minor fender bender car accident, where a lady hit his back bumper, he went off on her and pulled his gun on her ... why is this guy even on the department? If it wasnt for the officers wearing body cameras that they didnt start wearing until about 2014, this wouldnt have even been exposed for the truth in this incident. The officers falsified their report and said the vehicle taking off tried to back into them in a threatening way, justifying deadly force, the cam after review showed it was a lie, that's when Balch Springs PD Chief Haber fired Oliver, after first backing Oliver simply on the word of Oliver.
Basically these kids were at a house partying with other kidz they knew, a neighbour called police to question if there was underage drinking going on and about noise, and it being after 10pm in such a laid back residential area, many folks dont like to hear loud music. When cops arrived at the house, it seemed to be cool, but some kidz knowing the cops were coming freaked out and started taking off to get away ... I mean, they're kidz and panicked, what do you expect? ... our kidz and grandkidz do the same thing too. Jordan, his brother and a couple friends jumped in their car as well, who got scared after they thought they heard gunshots, Jordan was the front passenger not driving, and decided to just get out of the area. Supposedly witnesses and body camera recording on the officers said there was the sound of gunfire also, if so, this would also make kidz scramble quick, but I havent seen/ heard that evidence yet ... sometimes I heard folks mistaken a car backfire or firecrackers too as gunfire. If there was gunfire in the area, there was no gunfire obviously coming from the car Jordan and friends were in, if officers were there at the vehicle after the alleged gunfire, so no one in the car was shooting at officers or displayed any weapons, they were leaving the scene. I seen NO evidence as of yet that those kidz and vehicle posed ANY threat, they were simply driving away. If the car drives off and officers feel it to be suspicious of something, you call it in and detail while tailing in pursuit till back up falls in line, etc ... it's simple, and you'll take them anyway after with a road block or spikes or whatever, plus, once the vehicle goes outside that Balch Springs boundary line, you'll immediately have Dallas or Mesquite PD join in. What you dont do, is freak out and run to your cruiser and pull out heavy hardware like a goddamn Modern Carbine MC5 and go into combat kill mode ... what the fuck is wrong with you? ... especially knowing this was just some young teens partying in this type non- urban or non- threatening area. I dont give a shit what some rule book sayz or a police chief trying to justify this kind of action ... just use goddamn common sense. I expect Oliver's defense to use something like PTSD or the gunfire sound, and assuming these kidz fired the shots as defense to try to justify Oliver's actions in a trial, still early, so we'll see what comes next. They say Oliver didnt get a grand jury review to indict him? ... well, he will get to make his case in front of a grand jury and get a fair trial, eh? ... this way it can be in the open court and no closed door crap. And even if a jury unanimously came back quick with a slam dunk guilt verdict, Oliver's defense can request the judge to impose sentence instead of jury on sentencing phase ... being, the judge is usually more compassionate on sentencing when it comes to convicted cops than a jury. Yes, the familia of Jordan should sue as well, this was totally uncalled for, the civil rights groups should jump in, and pressure be applied on every level in our community. The Edwards familia asked for calm and peace ... and the people have respected that request, and once again, put their faith in justice ... it is now the job of the county/ state courts to do their job and make sure justice is served. Below I added some newsread links, and the first one from WFAA has Jordan's friends, brothers Maximus and Maxwell Everette who were the backseat passengers of the car explain their experience and incident.
