BUTTHOLE SURFERS: "The Lord Is A Monkey", "Entering Texas- Bar- B- Que Movie" ... (In Memory of Joe Christ)

Another posting for the "RCJ MUSIC/ ART'S HONOUR ROLL SOCIETY" here to honour some of the classic worx of one of Texas' finest in alternative music and art's the "Butthole Surfers" , and of course, another crew at the top's of my list in just about every category, especially in creativity and theme's. But I also wanted to post this in memory of an old buddy and fellow musician who passed away "Joe Christ", who was also a fan of the Buttholes worx, Joe was also an underground filmaker. The film is called "Entering Texas Bar- B- Que Movie" basically a spoof of the 1974 classic "Texas Chainsaw Massacre", and this star's the Butthole Surfers and some of their performance. The first video is another favourite of mine of course called "The Lord Is A Monkey" ... Enjoy!  : )

Part 5 of the "Beautiful Girlz" series will be to showcase a young lady, Ms. Jenna Talackova who is to compete in the Miss Universe Canada Pageant. This of course has been such a big controversial issue as well, so needed to be also in the "Sexploitation Nation" (PT.18) series of this journal too, because of it. I have read and viewed quite a few opinion's over this, even she has had enormous support as well, yet also many who have excuses after excuses as to why she shouldnt be in it, whether it's because some gal's think that beauty pageant's are a waste and only exploit women, to the rant's over the fact that she lied on her initial application, and she wasnt "born a woman" (though that can be challenged), etc, etc ... you know the picture. I am NOT trying to give her any special treatment or favouritism over her competitor's here either, they are all hard worker's and beautiful ... and this is a tough business actually to compete in these event's, alot of work and art and sweat is put into it, bottom line.

But this sexuality thing is really a big issue with so many folk's, regardless of what kind of sex or activity it is and who ... we hammer everyone and everything over sex, yet indulge in sex across the board, it's just so twisted. And this country being a liberated free type democracy is especially critical on sex, much more than it should be ... I mean, I would expect it in some countries or culture's, but dont see it as fitting in our's is all. However, when it come's to this journal and series of beautiful girlz ... let me make it clear here, that it will include all beautiful girlz of my choosing, regardless of race, birth gender, etc, etc. The few folk's that do read this journal are fairly liberated I take it, and those who may not be so, need not comment either on these type's issue's.

I admire beauty, like art, plain and simple, and both vary and are in the eye of the beholder as to what is either. I also admire her strength for challenging what I feel are rules specifically wrote to "exclude", that's just my opinion on these type matter's. And the support for her to pursue this has been great! At least to be able to compete in something that she has obviously put her heart and soul into and worked damn hard to get. So Congratulation's to Ms. Talackova ... and from me your not only beautiful, but universal ... and a Princess ahead of your time ... Best of Luck  : )

I also wanted to dedicate this posting to a friend from year's back as a young man, named Maya ... who I will add a personal story about after the read and video below.

***** Short (true) Story: The friend I spoke of in the above "Maya", was a stage name of a transsexual gal that was a neighbour in Houston year's back when I was a young man. She said she didnt have yet the sex change, but took some type of hormones or whatever to I guess grow breasts, she was tall slender, very fashion model looking type young lady, worked in an upscale store's beauty salon, like an apprentice type fresh out of school (she was 20 year's old, same age as me), at night she liked to dance in popular Houston dance venues and she also competed in these local shows and pageants of transsexual types. She lived in the neighborhood, but pretty much kept to herself, yet, we just randomly met, had some small chat, and she was looking for some pot/ marijuana ... I was able to get her some, etc ... which led to small chat and such. I worked myself at the time for a place that was a oil/ lube/ car wash/ detailing shop down the street, and at night and weekends I liked playing music with local musicians as a vocalist and blues harp player.

Well, Maya and I talked alot about music, performing arts and related, and I invited her to a local club/ venue I liked playing music at, I told her of course it would be loud and hard rock type music, she wasnt into anything like that, mainly disco type dance stuff she was into, but she wanted to go and experience it, she blended in the crowd and I dont even think anyone suspected she was actually male, I mean, she looked and dressed like a rocker chick for the occasion, wearing a leather biker jacket, boot's and jeans type dressing. And she also invited me to one of her shows at a transsexual type venue in the Houston Montrose District, where they dance, lip sync songs, have fashion show competition and related event's, Maya performed and competed in fashion type shows. So it was an experience for both of us.

And of course having this friendship and communication was cool with me too, and she would also stop by my apartment and visit, maybe smoke a joint, have a drink, etc. Well ... I had a girlfriend across town that was a college student, and lived at home with her parents still while going to school, and we were kind of serious, or getting kind of ... and she found out about this neighbour/ friend, and to make it short here, found out through word of mouth also that my friend came by my apartment several times, and was also a transsexual type. And I told her when she asked ... that it was a neighbour and friend that I scored some pot/ marijuana for ... and we just would have small chat, etc ... just socializing like with any neighbour is all. This girl that I was fond of ... started spying on me and stuff, it kind of got weird, and she popped in on me one day crying, and said something like " I cant believe you're queer ... why would you do this to me" etc, etc ... I tried to explain to her that she had me all wrong, and I really did care about her, etc ... I even pleaded with her, tried to hug her and comfort her, she pushed me away, as if she didnt want me to even touch her, as if I had the plague or something, even telling me, that she didnt want me to touch her, etc ... just because I socialized with this transsexual. It was a mess basically, I even waited a week to let my girlfriend cool off, then tried to talk to her again, even pleading with her, but her whole view of me just changed and she wouldnt give into me. She just thought of me as a queer that touched her intimately or something and couldnt get over it.

Well needless to say, I never told another girl I tried to date about Maya ... but Maya was a very good person at heart. That's it.

This Part 4 of "Octumama" has been because of the recent mega coverage of Octumama 2012 ... and to add something fashionable to this journal as far as "pop culture morality drama" ... since I havent been covering too much of the other fashionable news about these political dipshit's that are beating the masses, media's, and each other over the head ... while trying to run for President(?) ... which is downright pointless, because we already have a President for 2013 as I have pointed out before ... President Obama ... heh, heh, heh, heh, heh : )  However the newest news on Ms.Suleman (aka "Octumama" or "Octomom") below, then of course ... some added word's from the ole Chimp here.

I have maybe been a tad too harsh on Ms. Suleman in my past posting's, but not for the reason's that most are. I mean ... the bitching about this woman today is mostly about this posing nude morality nonsense, and the usual related. So I will give Ms. Suleman credit on that part ... at least she has hustled to make a buck to support that litter of her's. But the bitching about her nude or topless work has been enormous, and all over YouTube ... even women complaining not just of that ... but because she is so skinny and wonder why they cant be as skinny as her having so many babies or whatever .... the solution is simple ladies ... do something about it ... stop stuffing Twinkies and watching the tele to control or give you an opinion ... workout, diet, or do something. The other issue concerning the food stamp's, I wont blame her here either ... I mean ... a few year's ago ya'll were jumping for joy over this lady popping out babies like the season's change, watching her reality show's, other tele show's (while still stuffing ya'll's faces with Twinkies : ) and not whining nearly as much then ... you know someone is going to have to support these lil one's somehow ... $2000 a month in food stamp's aint shit compared to the amount's we let our government waste on contract's, earmark's, and other related spending ... at least it's goddamn going to feed the kid's and not Wall St! She hasnt been drawing constant assistance for the last few year's though.

Again ... regardless of how heartless this may sound or commie ... this is why I see a need for government supported contraceptive's, abortion, and the related ... we are so mentally consumed overall as a society with fiction, fairytales, tele show's and movies, religious morality issue's from ancient middle eastern creed's, etc ... we have lost damn near all reason and logic. Some have said/ commented that my familia is too big for instance ... well ... no one in my familia is asking for government assistance either. I have one cousin for instance who is a divorced single mom, work's damn hard, has one daughter ... didnt ask for shit, she toughed it, put a freeze on having more kid's, and since she couldnt afford college ... her lil girl enlisted in the Army, and is now in Afghanistan just to get a college education paid, providing she make's it back home alive. I also have one daughter that has one son, yet a 5 bedroom/ bath home, fairly nice ... but she too plan's and just dont reproduce because of a change in season's with hubby ... and they could afford to ... pulling in about $XXX,XXX per year between her and my son- in- law ... but they DONT ... why? ... because they THINK. Many folk's like other's in my familia who may have 4, 5, kid's or so, do so, because they can afford it ... not to draw food stamp's!

Octumama is trying hard though, I will give her that much ... I mean, over the last few year's she has really hustled, even a fitness instructor ... I think she was anticipating on making a lil more money though in the longrun off her popularity, and it didnt work out quite the way she thought maybe. But still ... taking gambles like that and having litter's of critter's like that without thinking straight is stupid without somekind of safety net. The outrage over the issues such as welfare and such is incredible ... where were these folk's a few year's ago? ... what did ya'll expect? but some sending her "death threat's" again? (some Californian's threatened her a few year's ago as well) ... most of these anonymous yapper's are coward's, introvert's, psychic vampire's, etc in real life to begin with, and can only make any threat's while hiding behind computer screen's, the other's who come right out and identify themselves and make these statement's/ threat's, are lost psychologically and/ or out of touch totally with what's going on. But dont bitch at the woman for drawing some welfare on having 14 kid's, she has worked hard despite how I may disagree with her litter performance ... bitch at some of these loser's who continuously draw welfare and do nothing but sit on their fat asses and continue to reproduce to get more assistance, without making an effort to do NOTHING else.

IAN GILLAN/ DEEP PURPLE: "HIGHWAY STAR" ... (posting inspired by Dave)

Deep Purple 1971



This induction into the "RCJ MUSIC/ ART'S HONOUR ROLL SOCIETY" will go to the classic rock band out of the UK ... "Deep Purple" ... and especially to honour Mr. Ian Gillan (lead vocalist). This posting is the first in this journal of Deep Purple, but will only be one song here in particular, because this was the first song that I sang at an audition that landed me a gig jamming with a working rock band, early 1970's. The posting is inspired by a buddy and fellow musician Dave of Sights & Sounds Arlington, who also inspired me to start up this journal's music series as well. Dave and I alwayz talk about music till were blue in the face ... he is a metal guitarist, about 20 year's younger than me, but no rookie either ... having played in the underground hardcore rock and punk club scene of Deep Ellum here in Dallas as an underage teen ... he was tall and could pass for a few year's older as a kid.

But over the weekend Dave asked me ... what "singer's" had most impact on me doing vocal work? Well there were 2 vocalist in particular that started that ... David Byron of Uriah Heep and Ian Gillan of Deep Purple, the 2 that I covered for random audition's of cover tune's (James Brown was the first record's I owned as a child who inspired my overall love for music, mid 1960's). But the first audition that landed me an opportunity to be with a crew/ band in a pro type studio was kind of funny, we never met before (group's name was "Scavenger" with member's from Houston and Los Angeles) ... these guy's asked me to cover Led Zeppelin ... well ... I couldnt ... Robert Plant's vocal's were not compatible with my range on so many cut's, we went over a couple other choice's, but not compatible ... so I told these gent's ... "you want rock ... how bout some Uriah Heep?, I know several piece's" ... they didnt do any Heep tune's, but liked them ... I said something like "Geeeezzz Guy's ... how about Deep Purple?", and the bassist said ... he loved Highway Star and everyone agreed ... asked me to cover it (like Gillan, I also do blues harp's/ hamonica's/ I had in 12 key's, as well as congo percussion's) ... well to make it short ...we smoked (kicked ass) doing this piece together, and the rest is history. Highway Star was wrote 1971 ... this cut was done live in 1972, and Ritchie Blackmore is also one of my favourite guitarist's too, who later formed the classic "Rainbow" crew and sound, with Ronnie James Dio ... Enjoy!

GLOCK 17 ... A Looksy for Home Defense (SELF DEFENSE PT.10)

Part 10 of the "Self Defense" series is to basically focus on the Glock 17/ 9mm as far as home defense weapons of choice, and partly because 3 guy's I've known over the year's ... Tracy, Billy, and Joe Christ have alwayz argued that they wouldnt have any other choice for home/ self defense, and Tracy worked also doing nightclub security as well (not carrying in the club though), so he carried on the street as well as home as his primary defense weapon of choice, period.

Other's have said (more than most) that a shotgun is the best in the home, and no doubt that the shotgun such as the 12 guage is a popular choice and almost a sure shot for that matter, economical, etc. But I never liked much myself the idea of moving around with a rifle as far as home defense, to each their own. If you live in the city like an apartment/ condo, it can be ideal to make sure you hit and to not have much other damage as bullet's going through wall's and possibly ending up where they shouldnt or a neighboring occupant/ tenant. I like revolvers too ...  I find that the Ruger .357 magnum is a real nice handgun and can use .38 reload ammo on the range ( to save a few buck's), a lil large for street concealed for me, but nice to have around the house ... but also when you have only a half dozen shot's, you may like to have a couple speed loader's too ... this standard Glock has a 17 magazine, which is nice.

You can easily find 1001 opinion's as far as choice. I chose this gentleman's (Nic Taylor) video below for his "reason" of choice though. These Glock's are simple, basic, easy handling, nice grip, smooth, and very reliable. Having the rail for light/ laser is also a plus at home or just out and about, and if you want to also look for a holster or other accessories, you can try this place .

ALAN NORTHROP: Washington State's "INJUSTICE Beyond IN JUSTICE" & No Crime ... Time (INCARCERATED AMERICAN PT. 12)

Part 12 of the "Incarcerated American" series is to highlight the case of wrongful conviction and the man fell victim to this ... Mr. Alan Northrop. And this case and what Mr. Northrop has faced is about as unjustified and wrong as it get's in our democracy. No doubt that this happen's all over the nation, Texas and Dallas County probably being about the worst in the country ... but what make's this Washington case so disgusting, is what the man had to face, once he was exonerated! 17 year's incarcerated, and a father ... get's exonerated and found inncocent, doesnt even get an apology ... enter's the freeworld with nothing basically, beside's what he earned for his slave labour so many state's take advantage of (bout a half dollar an hour), then slapped with a back child support bill of $111, 000, with a job a lil over $10 buck's an hour to try to pay it and make end's meet. But ... the man isnt whining over spilt milk, being so busy just trying to catch up with what was taken from the man, doing the right thing and getting his life and familia together.

I didnt even know that the State of Washington though had NO compensation at ALL for this type of what I consider a crime against him and not a dime for his wrongfully imposed time. I just cant even understand this any way I try to twist my thinking to. Even in the State of Texas ... the compensation is as far as I know, the best in the nation ... in Texas, you get about $80K per year incarcerated, an additional $25K per year for any probation and/ or parole (community supervision) time served in the freeworld, child support compensation, as well as higher education/ college tuition. What I see here in the State of Washington is incredible. Just as disgusting is that folk's are actually debating and so forth whether Mr. Northrop should even get compensated for wrongful conviction? ... are they goddamn kidding? is there really any question in anyone's mind with even half a brain?!

FACEBOOK for FACE CROOK's Scam's ... The Time's and The Crime's ... To Keep in MIND (MO OF YO MONEY PART 7)

Part 7 here of "Mo of Yo Money" is no biggie, but big enough to at least have in this journal/ series for reference ... I mean ... only $100 million got scammed last year on this bite, so it wasnt in the billion's such as with the big rip- off's, but still significant enough to where it had an impact on many American's. Again ... it's just good to be aware, because so many are out to get your money. I just had a young couple over at the house for instance earlier, that brought me some paperwork to look at, with the usual threat's of an account they didnt pay off a few year's back (3rd party type shit, so nothing can get connected to one source basically), and offer's that were made to them to settle (with someone else), etc ... bottom line ... I pointed out some thing's to them to show that they were being "had" ... I mean, this poor couple was worried about it out the ass, the poor guy's wife all nervous and freaking out, etc ... basically they were being hustled and illegally at that ... yes, as professional/ official as the letter's looked, it was all a scam ... storefront address and mailbox not with a typical U.S. Mail PO Box, they use private mail center's and buy boxes so that when the heat come's down (law) they cant be connected to federal charge's ... too complex to write about here though in short.

Lesson number one when it come's to scam's and such (whether it's a Wall St hustle or a basic street hustle, spanish prisoner, pigeon drop, lotto ticket share scam etc, etc) ... understand that they feed off fear and emotion's (emotion's including "excitement", thinking there is such a thing as getting something for nothing, etc) and there are more scam's out there than you can shake a stick at, I mean ... I dont think a month or two goes by, before someone around town is telling me something that they are being milked for and a slightly different angle as they explain to me what's happening ... but just stick to the objective, understand the motive, and you can stay a step ahead ... because understand, they who are out to screw you, are ALWAYZ one step up on you. Never let your emotion's, fear's, excitement, greed,etc ... get in the way of your reasoning or questioning, that is where you fuck up, discipline is importante, bottom line. Know when to walk. ONTARIO COURT to "Ban the Ban" on "Madam & Adam" (AMERICA'S PROSTITUTE'S PT.3)

This Part 3 of "America's Prostitute's" will look at what's an importante move in providing safer condition's for worker's in the sex industry in our neighboring North American/ Canadian State/ Province(s) of Ontario and Canada. This isnt as far as many would like this to go, but it is a step in the right direction ... and will face of course opposition ... but it put's at least a break in the ban chain. And many in the trade are at least pleased with this move and direction ... it's a start.

Back when I worked and stayed in a Montreal brothel (as in Part 1) it was all illegal any way you slice it, and also there was pay- off's that had to be made under the table and it didnt guarantee you a thing as far as safety or anything else ... you basically paid to get tipped off if you were going to be targeted for a raid, the inde gal's and those who had a Mack (man/ pimp) working the street were totally on their own, or at the mercy and order's of their man, period ... if you went solo and didnt have a man ... you were vulnerable to getting raped usually once a month at least in some fashion and/ or getting robbed for your money having client's forcefully take it back, after they had their pleasure session filled ... and you couldnt complain to no one, period. And it's fact that working an indoor is far better and safer than the street, especially in these time's!

Also let me add that this hysteria that it will make all of the sudden folk's want to become sex worker's is nonsense ... like any other "trade" ... everyone doesnt want to jump on the same wagon in any trade and/ or profession ... and just because it may sound like it's a cake walk trade ... like any other business, it has it's up's and down's and bad dayz, period. I'll just leave it at that and spare the reader any detail's in this post, but it's not a "cake walk" or slacker trade by any stretch either!

You didnt have HIV/ AIDS back then, but there was still plenty of more common type STD's and usually most who were solo alwayz got one or the other. Even those brothel's like I was in had to worry about banking the revenue's too, such as how account's were set up and through who or you could use safety deposit boxes or rathole in your privacy ... so even your money wasnt secure alwayz. I think that many worker's would like to have a ligit business, where you pay taxes like anyone else in business, you get treated as your are supposed to be as a citizen and one with a trade, be able to get that legal protection, and medical atencion when needed and on a regular basis ... it's all around good for the entire community. I myself am more in favour of system's like The Netherlands or Germany ... but anything at this point is a decent step toward's better system ... especially in North America.

AMERICAN ATHEIST'S & STATE under Attack in 21st Century America (HUMAN MORALITY PT.6)

This Part 6 of the "Human Morality" series is to highlight a growing American group of folk's that are basically tired of hearing that their insignificant in our society and want some equal ground's on their own choice of belief's I reckon ... after all ... they also have "value's" like anyone else. I cant blame them either ... I mean ... there has been a total disrespect for this group of people and almost no one has been reckonizing it, and Mr. Silverman below make's some great point's, especially when it come's to these stupid political campaign's, that at time's almost entirely ignore grave issue's and focus on the candidate's belief's or value's.

We have this almost endless relentless asskissing and support for even religious value's of some religion's that is just supporting irrational behaviour and degrading to people as well based on gender, sex, culture, other religious affiliation's, etc ... basically nowhere bitching and endless conflict's. This is importante now, because over the last few year's I have seen way too much of this being incorporated into our govenment and politic's ... and THAT is NOT American Value's at all. These people are NOT trying to tell ANYONE what they should believe ... they are just a lil sick and tired of being put down because they dont follow someone else's code who is larger, more powerful and has more money than they need to waste on their agenda's and force feeding American's their value's of what ever cult they may belong to. Enough from me on this ... Mr. Silverman point's out enough.
