Why the name Ranch Chimp? it was in humour because, science says that humans have similar DNA to a chimpanzee,so I felt some way related biologically to a chimpanzee. 2nd, everytime I was out of Texas on a vacation or for whatever reason I’m always asked things like, do I live on a ranch?,or have cattle? so I commonly call Dallas the Ranch. "Politically Depressed" was also humour inspired by the 1993- 2002 Bill Maher TV/ tele show "Politically Incorrect".
This induction into the "RCJ MUSIC/ ART'S HONOUR ROLL SOCIETY" will be to honour a classic and legend Mr. Scott Joplin ... and what an influence this composer had on popular American music across the board! A native Texan, born outside Texarkana, Texas ... and played all type venue's from saloon's, to churches, brothel's, the World's Fair, to Opera Hall's ... yet at the same time, a textbook type composer writing the sheet music as well! When I first heard his music, I had to be roughly 6/ 7 year's old, and it was through my Mother (my Mother also sang opera as a child in school) who loved Mr. Joplin's ragtime piece's ... It just really hit me listening to his piano worx as a kid though, inspiring my love of this genre at an early age.
Choosing was a tad difficult, since I have so many other's I had to debate on choosing from for this posting ... and a BIG Special Thanx especially to Dorian Henri for making this available on YouTube ... and what an outstanding collection of music that Dorian has ... incredible! But so much Thanx to Mr. Joplin for all the great composition's and all the inspiration he gave to so many musician's to today! This PT.2 of "Political Corruption and Ethic's" is inspired by this news segment that was on "CBS/ 60 Minutes" last night, conveniently a slot between 6-7pm (CST) between NFL football game's, so you can catch it all by itself, without having to DVR it or using multi- in screen shit (Sunday's are sacred to me this time of the year, because I'm a dedicated NFL fan). But another excellent piece by "60 Minutes" that was a must for this journal. Anywayz ... the read and video below, then some input on this from the Ranch Chimp.
CNN/ POLITICS: Pelosi fires back at '60 Minutes' report on 'Soft Corruption' ... this is the response from Congresswoman Pelosi also just in, which I have to post here to be fair. Whether any of these folk's think that any of this is unethical or not isnt the issue, the issue is, that these rule's should be made to apply the same as they would for Judge's or other's ... I see no reason for Congressional member's or Senate member's to have special rule's. Speaking only for myself here, I wont even call any of this "soft corruption" ... to me, it is and has been in recent year's anything but "soft" and full blown out of whack interest's and representation across the board, regardless of what political spin from the left or right that this get's twisted into. And continueing to let these folk's write their own rules year after year is more stupidity on our part. And for these folk's that are on "our" payroll who refuse to answer question's or whatever ... you can alwayz find another job, eh? Ya'll know all about that shit, eh? ... you know ... career choice's and all the rest of the talk ... maybe Ya'll can "create" some other job's for yourselves, so you can stop polluting our system. It's almost funny how so many representaive's of our's cant seem to get hardly a bloody goddamn thing done on the job as far as the country's best interest's, or get along, but they have all this time to gossip and share on business behind closed door's, yet never miss a step on what to invest and trade in ... perhap's some of their trading/ financial advisor's they can get to work part time on trying to work on some of our goddamn domestic issue's!
The reason I have focused so much on this in this journal is because this is one of the biggest obstacle's that face this nation, and also why I was so baffled on how they presented and indicted a woman like Martha Stewart on "insider trading" when they did (folk's like her are used as political puppet scapegoat's of sort to make it look like folk's in government are cracking down on rich folk's) ... because of the reality of how trading is in this nation and globe, especially this "speed trading" shit that has been going on for several year's now. Any one of us know what would happen to any of us if we were to indulge in these shady act's ... and they are "shady" no matter what spin you try to put on this shit, political or otherwise. None of these fine folk's of course been charged with a thing, and none even know how they been investing if you ask them, after all ... it's their advisor's who do it all, eh? ... again ... more full of shit than a sewage treatment center. What was of suprise to me in this piece was Congresswoman Pelosi, and I think that may have been influenced by her husband if anyone ... Democrat folk's like Sen. Baucus or Sen. Reid wouldnt even make me blink if they pulled anything of sort (you can be blind and spot them their so obvious), I have pointed out before in this journal how contaminating them two are, especially to the Democrat Party, which I been a voter and supporter of.
My issue never been with folk's betting, playing the market's, making money, or do I have any problem with millionaire's or such. My issue has alwayz been with just how thing's are ran in our government and by who, the structure and Constitution, etc are fine ... it's those we employ and vote for and what they do when they are in office, and as I pointed out time and again ... what is the incentive for most of these to want actual "change" or to ever even leave office and have term limit's? ... this again is simply like putting crack addict's in a room with a pound of crack and telling them they're on their own and to limit their usage, and the way we are at each other's throat's in this polarizing leftee/ rightee battle just stall's progress even more and no different than putting sock puppet's on your left and right hand to have at it with each other, another distracting moot point that get's nowhere's, where you are fighting for and about the same shit that you were 5 year's ago. We need action and for these folk's that are paid to do a job, to do their job's which are to serve the interest's of the country as a whole, not their private endeavor's, businesses and so forth. The pay and excellent benefit's they receive are more than decent, most have other small businesses on the side and investment's, this reckless pay- off shit doesnt cut it in governing either, eliminate's anything that resemble's any ethic's, integrity, or even having a thing halfway balanced, when the whole thing is corrupt inside out with no accountability expected.
Even the voting system is way out of balance in this nation, the campaign funding, etc on down the line ... this is why I alwayz supported government campaign financing, without interference from outside source's, the trick is, is getting folk's that you can trust in place, but they're out there. And this IS FAIR ... all these special interest's folk's who say their being picked on need's to be ignored, everyone from a billionaire to the average working class citizen should have an equal say is all I'm saying, everyone can have the opportunity to voice by going to the poll's and simply voting ... you want to voice? ... stand in line like everyone else and vote, otherwise, shut the fuck up and stop your whining! Again, this is only about "balance" ... which we lack ... and it's become a pop- cultural norm of sort unfortuantely. Even our President who I was so disappointed on some of his political move's, cant be bipartisan, or even try many of the great idea's he's had since his dayz as a Senator, because they manipulate and politically strongarm him as well, these are those in his own party!
Another issue severe in this country is the endless political grandstanding, especially from so many media's and blog's ... some of these blog's that I read are way too biased, you have liberal's that are not anything close to the definition of being liberal and even just as bigoted as their opposition, conservative's who are so out of whack that their no way even fiscally conservative on a thing, letting also religious cult's/ institutions try to dictate and supporting corporate dictation. In part one for instance on Congresswoman Johnson, before any serious questioning could even get off here in Texas for instance, race and gender became a factor, liberal's backing off and hiding because she was a woman and of colour, especially in our own state, because they fear more here, because whenever anything come's up against a person that is of colour, female gender, and on the left side, many leftee's run and hide, because it's only popular to attack white male conservative's mostly ... again, like Chris Rock state's about this "gang mentality" in our nation ... and the right will back off because they are in fear of being called nazi's, racist's, bigot's ... so shit just get's swept to the side and passed over too much.
But this is all great that this is being exposed and soon enough before election's in a year. I pointed out in the start of this journal how a need is for this and mucho investigation's and how long it will take, so this is really coming along faster than I anticipated on so many issue's ... Thanx to these media's that do get into this and all these group's that are jumping in like the Progressive's, Occupy Wall Street, and a number of other's that are finally getting down to business and trying to clean house, because this is way past due as well. And forget all this wuss shit about ... well if we dont vote for this person or that person were doomed and this and that will happen, "boo- hoo, woe is me" talk, or which Satan Sandwich is worse ?, etc ... that's just pansy nonsense talk ... fuck all that fear shit, politically biased slanted shit, cult blogging, etc ... the fact is, were going to take another 2" to 4" inches up our asses as it is, any goddamn way you slice it ... stay on their asses.
Over the last few year's, this President has really been focused on our military and Vet's more than any President I can recall, as well as pushing for so much needed improvement's for them, constant visit's and interaction as well ... and even a recent visit to a wounded Marine Cpl. Crabbe, to personally present him with the Purple Heart, which is almost unheard of. And this has been a continuous action by the President since Day One in the Oval Office, despite the extreme workload of every other issue that has piled his desk. Thank You to the President and to Cpl. Crabbe!
This "Battle in America PT. 2" will just be a lil follow up on this issue that I posted on in PT. 1 concerning the case of Capt. Rowles (USMC) ... but it's also importante for every American to know whether their a Veteran or not, as long as you bank, borrow, and trust these institution's for whatever reason. Some newsread and video below, then a few word's I will add.
First understand that the arguement that will be made here, is that it's all "ligit", that why the bank's are saying without "merit" ... I mean ... you know their not going to acknowledge a thing. The reason so many optional fine print addition's and avenue's are made in the documentation (and "legally" I may add) is because it is attorney's writing them. It's almost like for example, all this nonsense talk out of this Super Committee we have now, who technically doesnt have a say- so over thing's like SSI, but will indirectly have a say- so on what the Congress "get's to vote on", if that make's any sense ... saying it is a big strike to defense instead as far as cut's, but what you dont see, is all the wayz and division's, account's, etc that defense spending is paid for, if they dont get it out of one specific department/ account/ avenue, they get it through other channel's of spending that ARE NOT touched/ cut/ trimmed. That's why that for instance will end up as nothing more than a ramrod before the Christmas/ New Years Holiday at that ... if you think it wont ... watch. You have to make rule's/ law's on what can be used and done and in what manner, and who can accept what (as far as lobbying dollar's and campaign financial support) ... we have none of this in place currently, meaning that we have a wild- wild west way that is more free for them to do basically anything they want. The only "fool's" in this country who are hammered with rule's, law's, do's and dont's, are us basically, and were dumb enough or feel helpless enough to buy it ... thinking were voting on choice's we have ... we are only voting through our mouth piece's who honour those and are on the payroll of those who tell them what to do and write it all.
Again ... let me stress here ... we are at war in our own country whether we realize it or not ... and this isnt over cultural/ ethnicity difference's or even really over Democrat's and Republican's as much as it against this entity of power that even has our political representation on the payroll and servant's to them as well. Forget the so called drug cartel's as crook's, or organized crime loansharking, or other worries that we have as far as criminal activities ... this make's all of those look like low budget rookies ... these actually have the power and resource's to make legal anything they choose, regardless of how bluntly and openly crooked it is. These manipulator's are the cream of the crop when it come's to these money making endeavor's, nothing trump's them, even globally for that matter. And this is exactly why I talk constantly about how importante it is to decline any kind of business with these folk's that you can ... whether it's a mortgage, any kind of loan, deposit's, investment's, bond's/ stock's, you name it. Our measley holding's alone are not enough to make too huge an impact on these entities ... However ... by keeping feeding them in any way, only intensifies their strength and the damage they can and will do in the long run, and weaken's our smaller companies and more independent institution's at the same time. Again, they keep us at each other's throat's on petty issue's (petty to them) so that we dont have time to wonder what they are doing ... it's the oldest hustle in the book actually, it's not like their super brain's ... Hell ... you dont need to be as long as you have million's of folk's feeding you ... and buying your bullshit over and over and over, just in different packaging.
But the fact that they do this to our Veteran's and especially active service member's, to their spouses and children while one or the other is in combat of war's that are even partially dictated by them trump's over anything in past history of just how low and the scum of the earth that these type's really are ... that alone should make anyone with even a rock bottom IQ abandon them on any level that they can. You may be wondering why the Department of Justice has been so silent on this and the "wait and see" approach is in act ... again, it all has to do with simply political grandstanding ... as well as the case(s) not looking too solid. But there's a reason as well why cases of such may look a tad weak ... and that's because they are also the entities that review and put together the legislation to get voted on ... their lobby in our government is enormous, the mega bank's as well as the insurer's, energies giant's, are all in bed together. And how in Hell can you make a significant dent in their game when you have this ? That is one of our biggest problemo's right now, both side's of our representation "owe" ... YOU MUST STOP THIS. This is also why I stress throughout this journal of the importance of getting rid of what we have in Washington as far as representation, the sooner, the better, at least a large portion of it. And believe me, it will happen sooner or later. If by November 2012 for instance we have a strong enough alternative and more progressive choice ... my vote IS going to them.
In the meantime, this isnt much progress as far as the allegation's, lawsuit's, etc ... but at least it's something and being hammered continuously, cause most in Washington frankly are not going to touch anything they dont have to, many are coward's even, that have a total lack of integrity, honesty, or anything of any value to offer period. I have never in my 55 year's seen such weak and spineless, worthless, and incompetent leader's as I see today in Washington ... really. I'm almost in shame to be American at time's these dayz ... yet, there are also many that are strong ... they just need support to strengthen them is all ... Sen. Bernie Sanders is definitely one of those.

I just happened to stumble across his work here on this project/ piece called "Gold Is The Metal" sometime back, but this was such a good piece to me, I had to have it in this journal's music/ art's section. Some audio below in the link of some other worx from Mr. Puertas that are of interest as well, I really enjoyed. The sample mixes though he done on the below video of audio/ visual's from Pink Flamingos were right on time, and it seemed to have a moving bass undertaste that I enjoyed blending in, with good synth effect's, labeled as electronica, experimental, or ambient as far as genre, but for me, it's just good down home industrial that dont get much better! ... just all around a solid great piece. Of course I am a fan of John Waters movies as well, and old enough to where I still have Pink Flamingos on it's original VHS format : )
Also I may add, an ole buddy Joe Christ who was not only a musician, but also a film maker as well, and was influenced by John Waters also, as far as film ... John is familiar with Joe's work too ... However ... Enjoy! : )
This posting to Congratulate and Thank Mississippi Voter's for a most importante vote that took place yesterday in the State of Mississippi, some newsread and video in the link below, then some opinion's of my own.
The most popular thing you will hear on these issue's, is it's all about saving innocent lives out of these religious dictator's, yet they wont even approve simple stem cell research to save existing lives. And they try to make this look like it's not about these religious cult's that saturate America ... I been watching this vote and proposal since it stuck it's head out of the ground, like a Fox watches a Hen House. The idea that this is about saving lives or thinking about the kid's or other politipop nonsense is just that ... NONSENSE! This was nothing but more manipulating, dictating, slippery slope bullshit to see if they can get this through only to later manipulate even more through other state's as well as the U.S. Supreme Court.
And these folk's that commit these act's against American's alwayz say that they serve God ... another lie ... God only serve's them ... period! If you looked at the detail's of this so called amendment ... you would see that half the women/ men tax paying citizen's, doctor's, pharmacist's ... you name it, of this country would or could easily become criminal's, that's exactly what they were trying to do, and it would open every back door that destroy's Democracy in every definition, believe me. I dont even like writing about religion, but only because I know too much about it, it's history and the corruption of it ... it has nothing to do with a person's right to believe in God, most folk's I know believe in God, but they just dont run around on a bloody mission/ crusade of sort, so this has nothing to do with a person's right or choice to believe and/ or worship, or has even a thing to do with God ... but has to do with religious dictator's that are determined to make life a living Hell.
This PT. 4 of "The AWAKENING" will be to look at two issue's of actual victory for the American people. First of all this "Bank Transfer Day" movement started by "Occupy Wall Street" (and Congrat's to those big time!!) that has been making progress against entities such as Bank of America, and second to take a look at the scam that went down where the Democrat's done exactly what I suspected they would do with this Super Committee as well ... this one I was so accurate on that it somewhat shocked me, because not only did it come out as I suspected with folk's like Sen Baucus up to no good, the Super Committee formation, the cause, the Debt Crisis scam and refusal of the President to sign an executive order (utilizing the 14th Amendment, etc), the recess vacation period, coming back from September vacation and hitting us with Social Security, Medicare/ Medicaid cut's etc, and all before the Holiday Season, etc, etc ... it was almost like a goddamn blueprint of exactly what they done ... are they that fucken stupid to pull the easiest scam on the American people and think they wouldnt get made? I mean, I wrote this scam in detail over a couple posting's and it was so simple, it only took me less than a half hour to figure it out ... this tell's you EXACTLY what they think of the American people, they think we are downright fucken stupid, period ... INCLUDING SO MANY DEMOCRAT'S ... the evidence is clear as day.
Also be aware of the so called "Job's Act" deal going on, the Republican's are also waving a bound book like the President did with big block letter's on the front cover called something like "JOB'S" this or that ... I have suspected as I pointed out in some other past posting's that this is all part of the snowejob as well, as far as politician's waving these book's and paper's and such in front of camera's, notice that they dont really have many detail's, detail's they do have are up in the air over left/ right battle's, etc, and use them as a stall over left/ right shit as if their in gridlock, etc .... bottom line is ... alot of these folk's are more full of shit than a sewage treatment plant and you cant trust them on basically a damn thing. And also understand as I have also posted about ... there is an austerity drive across the globe period, all this showcasing even in Europe is all part of the same crap basically even. At least watch it very closely, if they do manage to create job's, do something about infrastructure, etc ... Great ... but it is also one of the tool's they can use to fiddle faddle and stall with ... and beside's, by the time it all got agreed on and actually into action may take some time, maybe even a couple year's all said and done, while they are still exporting manufacturing job's and such as well.
I am not posting this either because I draw any social assistance from the Government, I have never drawn a thing from the Government, or Social Security, or any assistance ... not that I wouldnt ... just because I dont ask for anything unless I absolutely need to ... regardless of what I may qualify for assistance wise. I never even belonged to a union for that matter or had any support from such entities ever. And I paid into this stuff for over a few decade's, and alwayz paid my taxes, etc, etc ... I am even willing as I've said time and again to pay even higher taxes just to see this country get on a corrective and positive path, I have no problemo with it.

But over the last 2 dayz I been actually more active than usual in this, signing petition's, making phone call's, etc ... because it has excited me so much to see this happen and this sudden ... I mean ... I been writing about this shit for a long time, yet didnt expect it to start to take action this soon ... so I'm thrilled as well! Back when I abandoned the big bank's a few year's ago and started doing everything with small inde's across the board on every avenue I could, this was almost unheard of, some folk's I knew locally thought I was out of my head, wondering why in Hell I would do this, thinking I would feel more secure with the biggie's ... but you see ... their ALL insured by the Government, whether their big or small is what inspired me to move on this. In other word's, looking at the picture, I wont lose anything from a small bank that I wouldnt lose from a large one. You see ... as I pointed out time and again ... one of the worst wayz you can retaliate against these entities is SO SIMPLE ... by simply walking away and not having a damn thing to do with them ... it's as simple and all American as Apple Pie and Baseball! Who force's you to DO business with them? ... do you NOT have a choice? ... get my drift?
The same with this political snowejob being pulled by this Demopublican Cesspool. I would bet my paycheck on it! But we will have either way you slice it, plenty of time to organize anything we can and fight tooth and claw, use resource's, etc ... bottom line ... this is ALL great news! and Congratulation's to the American's that have bucked this system!

THE SOLUTION: Unfortunately I had to do this post a piece at a time, but needed to add this solution piece.
The solution is probably the most simple part of this actually ... all the card's are in plain view as of what's happening ... you know that the Republican Party is the worst of the bunch (Best of the Worst) ... and you know what contamination element's are in the Democrat Party. You recently seen the President vow to start using his pen in executive order's, if he keep's to his word he will do such, but just a few odd and end bone's tossed here and there with talk wont cut it, Democrat's need to show actual result's ... and not bullshit, like you'll let gay people say their gay, beside's, gay folk's need to stop supporting these jackasses too, just say your gay anywayz wherever you are and fuck what anyone thinx about it! ... or they will give us a $50 tax write off at the end of the year on diaper's or related nonsense. And DONT be blind ... they just gave a cost of living increase to Social Security ... Why? ... because each of these SOB's on both side's knew they were going to try to take it back and more later.
There will be plenty of petition's to sign from folk's like the link's above ... SIGN THEM! Tell these SOB's straight up WHAT WERE GONNA DO if they fuck up anymore, PERIOD! And that is vote every goddamn one we can OUT. Make call's and email's to all these SOB's ... DO NOT fall prey to the fear card .... if the Republican's win, this and that will happen, etc ... we know that ... we also know what's on key Democrat's agenda ... similar to the fear talk about which Satan Sandwich is worse or the other wuss shit. If they continue these shenanigan's DONT vote for them or support any of their institution's or a damn thing, and DONT BACK DOWN.
I have tried to be as reasonable as I can in all this, and giving the benefit of the doubt every time regardless of what I was seeing, and can tolerate and negotiate quite a bit, been more than fair like so many of us. But these issue's are proving to be too critical, too importante ... and you can bet your ass ... myself and so many other's will NOT vote for these folk's over and over ... beside's ... when I signed petition's ... no matter what group it is for ... I am obligated to keep my commitment regardless of the consequence's ... just like I obligated and gave my commitment to the President when he ran for office ... many of us WONT WELCH. So this is all in the hand's of the Democrat Party, no excuses, no "if's, and's or but's.
I also encourage our fellow allies in other countries abroad especially to act in this manner and do the same ... we are all against the same entity, no matter what part of the globe your in.
This Global Warming PT. 11 will try to explain a tad more my stand on Global Warming, pollution, etc ... which I thought in the posting's I'm fairly clear on, but perhap's misunderstood too. What inspire's this is a gentleman named Josh (Joshua) locally that is say, more enviromentally conscious perhap's than I am, who has viewed my series and recently complimented my thought's on this subject, which I appreciate, I really do, sincerely ... but I also noticed that reading such, Josh assume's that I may be an enviromentalist. And this isnt only Josh, but various people that I have talked to in person on this subject over a few year span. I reckon even though I use wording that I would use in everyday talk, my actual posting's are more word's and more detailed than my actual conversation in person too ... being it's difficult for a reader who doesnt know or see me or actually hear me to assume just reading my posting's that I may be some more extreme type person when it come's to these subject's, if that make's any sense.
But I am far from those who are really into enviromentalism, nor am I obsessed with it as a subject at all. I try to make my profile view for instance as simple as I can as far as what this journal is about, what I write or whatever. One of the thing's is, even though I appreciate anyone who may compliment something I wrote whether it's on this subject or any subject ... I DONT actually fit into categories very well. Example: I am somewhat conscious on these enviromental issue's, but dont get into as strongly as many enviromentalist's would ... or say on my politic's for instance ... I vote Democrat and am very liberal on some issue's, but I dont really fit into the mainstream democrat or liberal type categories of today, any more than I fit into any of the right or conservative type categories of today being that I am very pro- business, pro- military/ defense, pro- 2nd amendment ... the same thing I run across when I talk to conservative folk's in person, that assume I am a conservative simply because of where I stand on them few issue's, then get confused when I talk sexual liberation or something, and dont know where I stand, or vice versa when I talk to liberal folk's about liberal issue's I support, then I am pro- right to bear arm's, etc ... they also (in person) seemed confused. What I'm trying to say I reckon, is the mainstream way of categorizing and/ or labelling folk's seem's to be a one size fit's all sort of thing ... if that make's any sense.
So to elaborate a tad more on this Global Warming issue, I actually agree with both arguement's on this issue, as I tried to point out in the last posting on this as well for instance. I dont have alot of formal knowledge on these subject's as say the die hard devoted person may have on one subject or another, the title of the series is simple as I pointed out being that, this was called "Global Warming" and then was later changed to "Climate Change" to make it sound less harsh I reckon. But my point in this series is very simple, and not meant to be misunderstood or confusing, making just simple point's is all. You see ... I have no problemo with folk's using plastic's or oil (which plastic's are made from), or mining, etc. I realize what we consume and what we need, the economic factor's involved, etc. All I am saying is ... "IF" we can do thing's and change thing's for better and have the technologies to do so, even the money, what is the point in keeping doing thing's the same way? There is alot of bio- plastic research even and such being done, the steel production thing by Hyundai, all the solar and windmill stuff being done ... this is all great for cutting down some of the pollution and create's job's, fuel's market's, make's the air a tad better to breath, perhap's the water's a tad better, etc ... it's simple, it doesnt have to be extreme. It sometime's seem's like the greed element is a tad extreme from those who act like they dont want to improve or change a thing for better too, with this constant hammering and attack's on simple needed regulation's ... geeeezzz .... I'm not bloody saying to cease all production for Pete's sake ... all I am saying is trying to clean up your act some and making progress is all ... we all have some type of regulation's that we have to adhere to, or else every damn thing would get out of balance and just hog wild.
I think also it seem's what some folk's are missing, is that we need nature, nature dont need us, more or less. I also dont get all bent out of shape over species becoming extinct either, science also show's us that as quick as species are becoming extinct, new species are developing, this has been going on for a few billion's year's for that matter, you dont have the same species and life you had a couple billion year's back on this planet now ... Hell ... just look at evolution ... extinction is natural ... and if you truely believe in science/ fact's/ evidence ... you also have to realize that even climatic change's are natural too, and also nature has it's own way of cleansing and balancing all that get's unbalanced ... so trying to blame this all on the human species is just as pointless to me. I feel we been naturally getting warmer since the end of the last ice age ... science is pointing out some fact's on this. But at the same time, I cant help to put 2 and 2 together and see that "IF" we are putting million's of ton's of these carbon's from fossil fuel's or whatever into the atmosphere, water's, and land's ... simply common sense would tell you that, that must be contributing SOMETHING to it ... how can it not?
It just seem's like it's rare and difficult to have any kind of neutral view on a thing, whether it's this issue or another issue, we have to fit into some categorized mold or something ... kind of like how's everything in society is just left or right, alot of which is beyond my comprehension, being I dont understand why we have to think like this and be at each other throat's over thing's that are just common sense? Like I said, I appreciate any compliment's that I received whether it's in a post comment or from folk's on the street in small chat or whatever ... but I never felt a need or seen why I have to be categorized as an enviromentalist, a liberal, a conservative, or anything else, or why I have to choose side's is all. I just like to keep it simple as possible and point out what's useful, practical, make's sense, has some fact's at least, etc.
TRUE SHORT STORY ...
I was in the printing industry/ shop's for many year's for instance, one company I was a foreman/ supervisor at for several year's who I wont mention their name here, after about a year with the company ... I went to the owner and pointed out some thing's that are enviromentally hazardous, at least to the water system's and such, how they were disposing chemical's that was loosely regulated and overlooked here in Texas especially. Well ... the owner kind of freaked out and was in shock when I was talking to him about this in his office one day over small chat/ shop talk, especially coming from me who he looked at as a very detailed prime employee, complimenting my work and such constantly. He actually said after listening to me ... "Jesus Christ Thomas ... are you an enviromentalist or something?" ... he actually seemed worried ... no shit. Yes, he was a strong die hard Texas conservative too, and really a great Guy as far as getting along with and alot of fun in conversation, really ... not religious though ... he even was a registered gun dealer in Texas, and turned me on to alot of fine firearm's as well.
But back to the enviromental thing here ... I just did a tad shopping around for him on my own to try to present him with a solution and also a profit that he didnt realize he was throwing down the drain ... really! .... I mean for year's he was throwing "film fixer" away ... that actually contained a sizable amount of silver that washes off the emulsion of the film during processing (large graphic industry film's, not like small camera film's) ... he was also wasting and tossing out a bunch of aluminum press plate's, I'm talking about massive size plate's that were used on press cylinder's ... but that's just a couple of thing's I pointed out to him that he was actually losing money on, and yet at the same time being enviromentally damaging as well. He simply didnt think of these thing's before ... at the same time I also managed to cut a deal with him to where I could make some money by asking him to handle this and thing's like the silver recovery, and to give me a cut for doing such, which he gladly agreed to ... Hell ... he was able to make a buck at the same time, so he jumped all over it.
One of the thing's this Guy loved doing in his free time as well was fishing and taking his kid's out fishing and such ... that is what really caught his atencion when I pointed out to him how these chemical's also get into the water's and into the fish, those fish in turn are what your consuming. I mean, just little simple thing's like this, he didnt ever give much thought to, even though as far as business, he was a self made millionaire and a successful small businessman. My point is, he simply didnt know of the benefit's of cleaning up and doing such, no one ever brought it to his atencion and he alwayz sensed the strickter regulatory factor's as some leftist thing to destroy business only ... his thinking really changed after that.
This PART 7 of "Incarcerated American" will be to look at the newest court decision's and incarceration of Lindsay Lohan, approximately a year and a half after I covered Part 1 (linked below). Again, I'm NOT looking at her because of her stardom or popularity, but because of her popularity, this has gotten so much coverage that so many dont get, so I utilize this to show exactly what so many in our nation go through daily and to explain some of this. And it's kind of personal, because this young woman think's alot like I do and so many other's as far as this system ... I mean frankly, beside's her popularity or wealth or anything widely reckonized ... she certainly is for real and straight up how she feel's, she's a real rebel, and actually has a cause, which I will explain after. Also, it's a tad tougher on a kid that grow's up in the spotlight, being sheltered from just so much of the regular activities and situation's that most of us had experienced, and basically in that sense having spent most of that young life having to conform actually to one social pressure or another, being to want to just break loose from the grip as well. She spent her childhood basically trying to please those who dictated her life as they seen fit. We all want to break away sometime's, it's natural. But first some newread and video's on this, then I will add into this from my perspective and hand's on experience with this sort of thing.
First of all, in the 2nd video above, folk's are outraged over the chance's and treatment that Lindsay received? It's true when the prosecutor above sayz it depend's on the Judge and that many say in a area like Compton or whatever dont get the same break's, but understand also that you have to look at each defendant/ case individually too. But the break's that Lindsay did get, are also common too ... there is time after time in daily court's/ cases coast to coast where felony charge's are reduced to misdemeanor charge's during plea negotiation's, and if you dont utilize the tool's you have or have bunk legal representation, well ... your getting screwed ... Lindsay is simply using the tool's she has available and frankly many DONT. She's using the tool's because she is a rebel and know's she's getting fucked too, and her "cause" is cause she's sick and tired of the bullshit. Alot of those defendant's from low income background's also get stuck with court appointed attorney's, because they cant afford the legal fee's, is a big issue, many of the court appointed attorney's are overworked and backlogged and the system pressure's them through the court's to resolve and negotiate quickly (unless it's some "capital" case maybe) ... and alot of time's the defendant is ill advised, and it become's a matter of not guilt or innocence, but deciding whether you want to do flat time or play the probationary system ... what kind of "contest" do you want?, what's in your hand of card's?, what tool's are available? and how much you know ... it can be a complex system that I could do a whole blog on actually, presenting a number of cases that I know about. But yeah, money play's a key factor ... just like anything else in the freeworld.
THE "RAP SHEET" (give me a fucken break Jake!)
Let me go to the so called "rap sheet" screen photo they show in the 2nd video on Lindsay. Multiple DUI's? ... c'mon ... it's 2 bloody DUI's ... do you realize that today one beer at lunch could make you fail a breath test right after lunch the legal limit is so low? and people/ defendant's walk and/ or lessened plea bargain's/ no contest's every damn day on DUI charge's because of the court's backlog too, so dont sell me this horseshit! One of the constant arguement's on the DUI gig, is ... "she could have killed someone..." ... let me make it simple here ... SHE DIDNT THOUGH.
Possible "carjacking" ... more bullshit, if a carjacking went down, she would have been charged with such, and if the case for the prosecution is weak, the main DA's office wont touch it! ... the fact is, she WASNT tried or indicted on such.
Cocaine possession? ... big deal ... another charge usually made into a mountain from a molehill that million's across the nation get ... goddamn residue of coke is also enough for a case in most of the nation or just to be citated! I know a gal who got pulled over one night in Oak Cliff on Jefferson (W.Jefferson Blvd, South Dallas/ OC) coming from the club, pulled over for not using a turn signal changing lane's at 4am with no traffic ... that was ligit, but another bullshit reason cop's use to pull one over of many reason's. When she stepped out of the car and went in her purse to get her liscense (do not step out of the car) and layed her purse on the hood of the car, a glass vial rolled out by accident, very small, and had about $20 of coke in it, she was charged with a felony (lowest degree felony), took a cop out plea instead of a few month jail sentence for 4 year's probation as a trade off, again recommended by a court appointed attorney (which frankly could have been actually dismissed if she didnt have such representation, or knew more about the law), violated that after less than a year, because the probation officer didnt receive a formal change of address within 24 hour's of her change of address/ moving, causing her probation to be revoked, and a slippery slope of more shit that roll's with that game ... but that's a whole nother post ... she, low/ moderate income, latina, and was in a neighborhood on the way home that is known for alot of gang member's, etc ... I mean, that's her hood (neighborhood)! ... just targeted basically.
Shoptlifting necklace ... the story behind that one is deep and is why she was able to get a misdemeanor reduction out of that ... many of those in the spotlight in Hollywood are constantly walking out of store's with item's and wear them without no interference, because they are either outright allowed to do so, and/ or the shop owner's/ merchant's etc use it to promote their product's/ item's or loan them and star's feel casual in many cases doing this ... some star's dont even pay for alot of their wardrobe's, because they are also borrowed and furnished ... that issue and case is deep ... if the case was so solid as a felony, it wouldnt have been plea negotiated as such, bottom line.
"Possible" fistfight with a woman in rehab? ... what the fuck is this "possible" shit? You either did or didnt, and beside's ... when your incarcerated ... fistfight's are a reality, many of us have gotten into a fistfight or worse when incarcerated, whether it's city, county, state, rehab, etc. When your incarcerated ... it's not like the freeworld where you can just smile and talk, debate, and bullshit around ... everything is "for real" and basically straight forward and frankly more "honest" than the freeworld. If someone get's in your face, want's your breakfast sweetroll, or even your ass ... you can walk and run or give in, try to buy your way out, or go snitch, whatever you do will be noticed and you will be looked at as standing your ground or being a coward or worse yet ... a snitch. Sometime's you cant do nothing BUT get physical ... period. Again ... she wasnt charged with jack shit, so lighten ya'll's asses up.
Multiple probation violation's? Of course ... do you know how easy it is to violate probation? with all the technicalities that are considered as "violation's"? Alot depend's on your supervisor/ officer ... and Lindsay with this new gig is getting a hardass officer, so she will have to walk the tightrope. Once probably 20 year's back I had violated a probationary term I had with a new drug possession case, to make it short, I had to take a cop out/ plea deal and go to drug classes ... bullshit case, no biggie, I played the route, went to my first class and everybody sat on chair's kind of like a circle and they go around to everyone basically and you introduce yourself and talk about why your there, what's your issue's, etc, etc. A couple of folk's really got ramrodded, one gal cried and broke down who got busted on Lower Greenville Ave nightclub strip and been in and out of rehab's, etc ... you get the pic if you been there, done that. Got to me and I introduced myself to the group and tried to keep it short and simple (because it was) ... and said basically "I'm Thomas, and I'm here because the court made me a cop out plea deal on a probation violation and possession case ... and that's about it" (which was straight to the point and "true") ... the counselor was in shock ... and said ..."Is that it Thomas? ... do you care to share more with us?" (similar wording) I told her ... "Well, there's not much to tell, I fucked up, got popped (busted), and I got sent here basically" She said ... "Can you share your problem's though and why your here" (similar wording) I told her "Well that's the problem, I got caught and the court sent me here, bottom line ...", a couple folk's chuckled/ laughed, and she gave them that dirty look. Well it went on and on, asking me to acknowledge to the group that I had a problem and I needed help/ support, etc, etc ... well I wouldnt ... I asked her "What do you want from me, I'm here, I'm paying your salary with my fee's like everyone else ..." etc Well, I was dismissed from the class, a letter sent to my officer saying I was totally uncooperative and with no remorse, etc (remorse? WTF for?) ... my probation officer again violated me, but when I went to court the Judge was in a bad mood, and was just sick of the petty nitpicking and said ... "Do you think you need more probation time Thomas, or you have a problem?" I said, "No your Honour" ... he dismissed it! ... but get this ... not only dismissed the current cases, but also my entire probationary case of past, no more reporting to no- one! (the prosecutor was pissed as Hell!) ... I walked. I didnt have a problem but their bullshit, I worked and had a good work record at that, paid all their fee's, showed up to my appointment's, etc
Linsay's new community service gig ... the morgue is the only one's who will accept you? ... heh, heh, heh, heh, heh : ) ... that's fucked up Girl! I had the community service gig's too, they impose them so you cant pay your way out of that, but still milk you financially with the other shit, and it make's it look like their being strict, cracking down or the rest of the jolly politipop shit, and it's "free labour" that put's people out of work. But I alwayz had option's ... I worked the jail's, making lunches and meal's for the inmate's, I worked place's like "Goodwill Industries" on the line where you seperate the donation's ... I worked the county, like planting tree's, etc, etc ... never did like the Morgue because I like a lil chat and company ... and corpses arent very good in conversation/ socializing : ) ... but ... at least it's quiet and laid back! : )
Were they too soft on Lindsay? ... frankly NO ... and especially the bond's and fee's she has had through all of this has been a tad high ... I reckon because she has money of course. Is she a criminal? Hell No! ... she's just stubborn and pissed and utilizing what she has. As far as the drug issue, well, that create's it's own burden whether their legal or not, and many just simply outgrow the issue over time, addiction is one thing, recreational use is another, but any drug's alwayz prove to be a burden and crutch over time any way you slice it. Do you need help? ... that can only be decided by you ... do you want help? ... no help can be any help unless you want it in your heart, bottom line, the court's or anyone else cant do that for you. But yes ... their objective is to basically reform you to conform ... the repercussion's will only be how you choose to deal with it, and how long you want to play it, etc.
My advice to Lindsay ... your young, but not getting younger ... time is importante, right now it's on your side ... you can stretch it out and buck the system as long as you choose, but understand the slippery slope. Sometime's just doing the straight few month's of time is the best route, because you dont have that supervisory shit to handle when you get cut loose, but you still have to avoid new cases ... it also give's you some personal time from the rat- race and your vice's or whatever, to slow down a minute and clear house on your own psychologically, I know, I been there. Frankly if it was my decision and I had your money and job guarantee's I would have cut this shit long ago (but your young and sometime's dont realize this shit, till after year's of experience and looking back), get through the probationary shit, done my little time, and when I got legally freed from the system, go abroad to work mostly and live ... you had some gig's set up on the French Riviera for instance ... great climate and place to be, one of many place's, and not so uptight about shit like in America, I know it's hard to leave a great town like LA and all, your friend's, the memories, hangout's etc, but that's the way it is sometime's ... your young and have alot to look forward to, I would just get this shit behind you, cause their gonna ride your ass being of high profile, bottom line. But you know what issue's you have, I dont have to point out certain thing's here, and also understand that being around the same circles and hangout's and/ or association's even, make's it harder for you to break any cycle's you may be caught in, and those personal issue's or crutches you have dont easily go away, and also affect your judgement for good or ill, I'll leave that there. But yeah ... I like your style and you speak for many of us who's been there and done that! Best of Luck too ....

This "Sexploitation Nation" PT.11 will be to look at the recent transgender issue's that has been in question across the board ... to look at the case of Bobby Montoya, a 7- Year old boy who was first denied to join the Girl Scouts. When I first seen this last week, I didnt know what to think, because I never heard of any issue like this before ... or even know much about the Girl Scouts or Boy Scouts (I never was a Scout as a kid, but been in a couple reform school's, if that count's : ) . At the same time, in a humour way thought, well ... even if a boy is not transgender ... can he join say some girl's sport group in high school or whatever? I'm sure plenty of boyz may like to join in some of them : ) ... or can a girl join the boy's group's? Anywayz ... This PT.3 of "The AWAKENING" is just to give a recent report for this journal's record/ reference from who I alwayz simply called "My Man from Flint" ... aka "Michael Moore" in the trenches of "O-Town" (Oakland,CA/ Bay Area) explaining of course the reality and what step's need be taken for actual "change". I alwayz called Michael "My Man from Flint" because when it come's to setting healthy dialogue at the bargaining table and catching scam's ... there is no one I would rather have by my side than this man. And this I will not call as 99% vs. 1%, this is much deeper than any percentage's, and much beyond just a left/ right way and/ or approach ... it is the purest form of corruption and institutionalized thought programming in recorded history of humanity, although alwayz an entity that has risen with it's trash from era to era, empire to empire ... even dating back thousand's of year's before the species even had a written language, in more primitive form's ... and of course, alwayz defeated over time, which result's in change and the next step of societal evolution.
I call this a "Shit Report", because the source of this video off YouTube is called "SCHITTREPORT" first as inspiration, and the fact that these report's are of basically the backed up sewage of shit in this nation that has completely destroyed Democracy, free market, individualism, patriotism, the voice of America, free trade, freedom of choice, and everything else that even remotely represent's any kind of freedom or a fair balanced playing field of any kind, many of the same thing's valued by those who are pro- business and conservative even. For the record here, again ... I have alwayz been pro- business, free market, etc ... even Michael is the same actually ... he been seeing this for year's, as well as myself writing about this and what's to materialize since the start of this journal over 3 year's ago. All is starting to form very well right now, which was a lil sooner than I anticipated, which is great news! However, this IS STILL the "Awakening" and should get much larger as I wrote about throughout this journal and alot more fierce ... and of course right on the money being that it is going in what I called wave's across the globe, which is what you've been seeing over the last year especially.
Everything is falling in place perfectly ... the trick part is ... Not Giving Up ... you see, the 3 Entites (mega religious, finance, government's ... a 3 in 1 entity actually that control's simply by ratholing all wealth, resource's and thought/ thinking) are banking that this will die out soon, or that showcasing a few hundred thousand job's here and there will fizzle it out, the winter coming (in this part of the world), toss a few political bone's here and there to wet our beak's, etc. But as I said time and again, they are only trying to get back to what's alwayz been considered as "normal", which is basically the same ole same, with little to no actual change ... and only to reserve their rank's and trust/ faith in them, and continue this cycle like a merry- go- round. I myself have been bucking this systematic slushstall for year's as I have pointed out before, I have abandoned just about all of those I can for several year's now, doing all banking, business, trade, etc that I can with independent's. As long as we keep buying into this, getting deeper and deeper into dependency on them and letting them rathole everything, you can NEVER get out of the rut that you/were in, and/ or especially expect any significant change and progress in any reasonable time frame. It also need's to get tougher than what we see ... this is actually "mild" trust me, but so far doing fairly well. Enough from me ... Listen to Michael

POST NOTE: An addition I wanted to add after Michael here (My wife and daughter are on the way home, and I was cooking some pasta while putting this post together : ) is the constant talk and misunderstanding of folk's that talk like myself, are folk's that want to redistribute all the wealth, and try to rob folk's that earned their wealth, etc, etc. This is not only inaccurate, but a cheap shot and somewhat insulting to our intelligence as well. We ARE BEING HAD ... period ... I grew up in the street's of hustler's and my dad having me in casino's he worked as young as 8/ 9 year's old ... I was one who came from a gofer in the workplace and in 3 year's time was running the department and bidding on job's/ contract's, building the business with all I had to give, for our year end bonuses and profit sharing contribution's ... I know how to hustle and what "GOOD BUSINESS" is, and admire those who achieve by merit and what they put in as far as their hard work. This twisted herd mentality thought, mainly out of those that are this neo- conservative crowd, who are being led like a dumb ox into a cesspool that they will later regret if they actually seen what is happening ... is so off target. No one is talking about trying to put achiever's, investor's, in the poor house or trying to steal all the wealth by protesting this corruption and control/ manipulation ... we are trying to preserve and expand true freedom and democracy and what will work in a changing global market. EVERYONE come's out winner's with this needed change, and even the top of the chain will benefit in wayz that they cannot see yet.
Also another misunderstanding across the board is all these wave's that I talked about that you can see going on in many countries around the globe of bankrupt countries coming out of the woodwork that were only a few year's back completely opposite of their current financial situation ... we commonly think and are told it's solely because of government waste on social service's, and in our country social security, and everything from libraries to education and every other service. The truth is that we are seeing these financial and sudden wave's because trillion's of dollar's over the last several year's has been ratholed by these entities and basically almost taken out of circulation, milking our government's, financial institution's, and everything else, to render us helpless and to have to give in more to them to rescue us in any way they can ... this has been all carefully planned for year's, except it didnt quite work out like they planned, and we are seeing the result's ... as I have said in previous posting's ... all the service's and function's and institution's that work for us that fail, will still be needed ... they do this, so that they buy all of them with the money they ratholed and they become the ultimate ruling governor's, by privatizing everything ... basically having total ownership.
As I write this I have on PBS NewsHour on the tele in the background, and of course Democrat's and Republican's are now tossing in the side dish of having to address social security, how it's failing, in the red, etc, etc ... it's so tight because for year's they have been milking it for something or another of special interest's ... BOTH of these parties have been doing this, we constantly pay into it and will continue to, why shoudnt we keep it? ... it's our's. Over the weekend while out on the road, I was taking in some talk radio and the talk out of Washington was ... how Libya now has been freed and of course ... it is now our responsibility to transport Libyan's here to give them the best health care that we can provide (yes, this was their exact word's) ... now I have no problem with helping anyone, but I do have a question ... that is ... where were all you on both side's in Washington less than a year ago turning down helping 9/ 11 responder's who became ill, many firefighter's, law enforcement? turning down our returning military veteran's in need, turning down American's on health service's, etc, etc? Right there is solid proof that both of these side's do NOT represent you, nor really give a shit about you or this country, except when you pressure them to.
