Why the name Ranch Chimp? it was in humour because, science says that humans have similar DNA to a chimpanzee,so I felt some way related biologically to a chimpanzee. 2nd, everytime I was out of Texas on a vacation or for whatever reason I’m always asked things like, do I live on a ranch?,or have cattle? so I commonly call Dallas the Ranch. "Politically Depressed" was also humour inspired by the 1993- 2002 Bill Maher TV/ tele show "Politically Incorrect".
This posting to serve 2 series of this journal "Above & Below" and "The Other Tenant's" ... and sort of a Memorial Day posting with a twist, not like the ones I do in the "Veterans Spotlight" series for our military veterans ... but this posting to look at and honour those forgotten warriors who fought and died naturally on America's land, sea and air before our species arrived. A time before human written rules, laws, religions, politics and man-made filth/ pollution ... in the area we call now North America and it's lost sea ... the Western Interior Seaway (Wikipedia), a time when what we look at as the wild west was really wild, a time before any of the human type species (sometimes humorously thought of as God's little personal Teddy Bear's) ... and my "guess" is that there were more human/ hominins related types going even further back than what we know and discovered so far. But this was a time of survival of the fittest basically, when kill or be killed was the natural law of the land, sea and air. I hear folks alwayz saying they wish they could time travel to the future, with me I alwayz wanted to go back in time to see what it was like before any of what we have now, or to actually see before there was life on this planet, or maybe see the start of our solar system, the natural action and reaction chaos of planet/ body collision or meteor strikes, etc. I also met folks that did not believe there may have been a sea where we stand today in Dallas for example ... but fossils dont lie ... lying is a human specialty. I remember once a couple decades ago when they were building the first subway tunnels under North Central Dallas, workers got sick, it was reported that they were sickened from gas let off from ancient sea turtles. I added a couple video's below found on YouTube ... the first some fossil exhibits and background, and the last one simply for the beautiful artwork in it.
This entry for the music/ arts honour roll society will be to honour and take a listen to a rhythm & blues vocalist out of Budapest, Hungary ... Rhythm Sophie, which I wanted to have some of her work in here for sure because she is a vocalist that I love her style and voice. Sophie has been moving up and getting alot of work in Europe over the last few years, she worx with various artists, below with Tom Stormy Trio and a really great guitarist Long Tall Sonny with some really smooth licks and others, covering much from traditional American rockabilly, blues, western, swing, etc ... I do like her in the rockabilly genre personally, but she can do much more ... the old school styles are her specialty with a fresh twist. Others that she would fit in well with on a bill as far as rockabilly would be Rev.Horton Heat and Stray Cats as my choices. Other than that I dont have alot of history on her ... I just love her ... and the other musicians she worx with here are great! Wishing them success and looking forward to more ... Enjoy!
I was meaning to do a posting on this "Jade Helm" thing, because I have talked to several folks in Texas about this who live in the more rural areas/ smaller towns over the last few months ... and a blogger Infidel753 up in Portland mentioned this to me the other day, asking me what I thought about the heavy talk here in Texas about it. I was slow in doing a posting simply because I was sick of hearing and reading up on it, but I will do this posting putting it into the "Corporatcommunazica" series as Part 9, because it is mostly connected to the corporate style inspired communism that we see today, where your largest holders of wealth have control over many of the largest banks, markets and corporations ... which all have a control over the American and global politics as well as our military, so not just in America. In a way, we all have a common enemy as people, regardless of our race/ nationality, religion, gender or political affiliations ... again ... this is "our" personal experience in 2015 America ... but the whole so called free world is being dominated by the same crap, which I have wrote about quite a bit throughout related series in this journal since it's start. First I linked to some brief newsread and video below, then I will add my perspective following and try to simplify it to an extent.

Alex Jones is mainly being attacked as America's No#1 conspiracy theorist and those that follow and agree with him. Alex and folks like him are self described "Constitutionalists", some folks and even some in government dont like Constitutionalists, yet when their rights are violated or cant get certain legislation passed, they run to embrace the very thing they previously didnt like to support ... the Constitution. Folks like Alex are also ridiculed for it by politipop- culture, President Obama himself was a senior Constitutional lecturer at a University, the President though is not criticized and labeled as such by the pop- culture (the President is truly bipartisan even, yet called a socialist, commie or muslim), ANYONE who speaks truth or questions, or has a fair amount of integrity, or speaks out of the box, etc, is pigeonholed as a "nutcase" or "extremist" in our pop- culture society ... others such as Ralph Nader, Sen.Elizabeth Warren, ex- Congressman Dr.Ron Paul, Sen.Bernie Sanders, Congressman Alan Grayson, Sen.Ted Cruz, ex-Navy Seal & Gov.Jesse Ventura, Rev.Jeremiah Wright and ex-Congressman Anthony Weiner as examples are also criticized as extremist/ nuts for what they do or say ... even today, our Department of Defense call's the founding fathers of our nation extremists. But Alex and those associated are just concerned is all, and who can blame them? I mean ... what you have is a nation (USA) full of lies and bullshit, pre- paid politics, partly controlled media, constantly screwing the American people out of one thing or another, ratholing all the wealth, tearing down our standards of living and pushing austerity, manufacturing wars, occupations and invasions that are not freeing anyone or making things more so called democratic, but basically raping the earth of all it's resources, life, labour and anything of trade/ monetary value, and if anything ... destroying any definition of democracy. That IS WHY you have conspiracy theories, questions, skepticism and anger ... so Alex is not a crackpot and at least should get some credit if anything for bringing this to light ... he is just passionate and full of energy ... even though I sure as Hell dont agree with all he sayz. I even will credit Gov.Greg Abbott/ CCP (Corporate Communist Party) of Texas for including the Texas Guard for oversight, and I sure as Hell disagree with the Governor on damn near everything he does, and sure as Hell didnt vote for him (I voted for Wendy Davis) ... but it gives some of those more rural area Texans where this is a strong presence a bit of calm knowing this.
I felt that JH-15 is also healthy as an exercise for our military, being the various terrains they chose to do it in, and especially during the hottest months here in the southwest for that desert atmosphere, the woods, mountains etc. One of my daughters best friends since childhood for instance is being shipped out to Afghanistan soon (U.S.Navy) and she will not be able to attend my daughters wedding ... when we can get our military to exercise at home and a more realistic atmosphere besides simply on base, I feel it's a plus. I also thought especially in some of the towns that it would be great business for local businesses ... I mean ... there is going to be alot of spending on recreation, eating, shopping, etc. I feel it is also good to be on at least home soil other than foreign soil, and we sure have the land mass and terrain for it ... and it's less expensive. At the same time it gives us citizens a closer view of military preparations, procedures and information that we may not otherwise have easy access to ... and help's form a sort of kinship between the citizens and those serving in duty, which makes it harder for those who serve to go against their own down the line. Foreign war preparations are necessary, we seem to be in constant war and America has more enemies because of our actions than we had in a long time.
As far as martial law ... again ... there is no need to impose martial law ... there are more laws, curfews, restrictions and surveillance as it is than you can shake a stick at. Understand that the last thing those of wealth and power would want to do is impose a solid militarized police state or martial law ... it IS SO disruptive to societies, business, the markets, and would have a global ripple effect and promote chaos in some form around the globe, not just here, besides, they do pretty good controlling the masses with bullshit media, propaganda and scare tactics as it is ... remember, their No#1 God is money/ wealth. But YES ... these exercises WILL be used for civil disobedience or domestic terror or any other uprise of revolt as well if necessary ... why would they not be?, they're simply economizing on their training. Those who say they would never use any of this against American's on American soil are also full of shit/ lying or blind/ deaf, whether they are citizens, government or military officials. Are there people at the top preparing for civil war, large scale civil disobedience or related? ... of course there is ... with all the anger out there from people, they would be stupid to not prepare ... they know what to expect ... and they have reason to, I mean ... they created this corrupt cesspool and know they angered alot of people, there are consequences for your actions at some point, no matter what level of wealth you are in.
Being proactive is healthy ... those who rule over us certainly are ... shouldnt we be as well? And being overreactive can be unhealthy for either side. The people in our nation are partly to blame for the current condition we have, as well as similar conditions in other parts of the western world. But especially here in America, we spent too much time not paying atencion to what those in power been doing for year's, we lacked to vote in large numbers and dont even utilize all the tools we have. There are people all over this globe who only fantasize that they would have the tools we have such as rights, courts, constitution and all else we have ... let's face it, we got lazy on these issues, spending too much time appeasing some of these ingrates that control instead of demanding what we should. The healthy part of all this is that we learn from it, which will get us off our ass eventually. As far as those at the top that think they can just control this country with any methods of such they dream up in conflict ... dont fool yourselves, wealth is also intoxicating and can numb your brains ... it is difficult as it is to even stabilize places like Iraq or Afghanistan for example with populations of maybe 30+ million or so, who are not nearly as well armed, or with the tool's and resources as American's, or with a population pushing nearly 320 million and geographically much larger ... so be careful how cocky you get and make good in this country so you dont have a bigger mess on your hand's.
This posting to serve the "Public Patriots", "How To Privatize America" and "Trans- Pacific Partnership" series of this journal, to highlight a short video from Congressman Alan Grayson of Florida who is no stranger in this journal, and I consider as a sort of public type patriot for much of the work he has been doing ... this concerning the mainly kept quiet Trans- Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade deal I been trying to keep up with for a couple years now ... and Thank You to Congressman Grayson. Also to be fair here I included a PBS NewsHour video/ transcript link below Alan's video with host Gwen Ifill one on one with Edward Alden of the Council on Foreign Relations to try to paint what is going on here ... because this has been very low profile in mainstream news for some reason, so much is not known. Also in fairness here, a full text transcript or video of a speech later given at Nike/ Portland 08 May 2015 by the President concerning the TPP deal linked below after in the "Oregonian" news link. A link to "Public Citizen" against this TPP that I thought worth the read, and a closing video I wanted to add from attorneys Mike Papantonio and Howard Nations. This posting also included in the "How To Privatize America" series because even though privatization is a word that sound's great, you have to look at who's in control and ownership ... this is more like a mass fast tracking of "privatization" we see today of mega corporate maneuvered monopolies, and not truly much benefit for peoples, government or individual investors, that's basically rigged ... and as Alan points out below ... much of our own assets here in America are being bought out by our competitors with the profits they made off us, which I have talked about time and again throughout this journal in related series, who we subsidize as well as breastfeed.
I am not an economist or know much about investing and the markets ... however, when I see things that dont look straight, I have many questions ... we all should, there is no doubt that something is not working right in some of these grand trade deals we have made in the past, so it HAS to be examined closer and given a tad more time I feel. How many "frivolous" corporate lawsuits against us will we possibly be subjected to once we give a green light and they're on a roll? I say frivolous, because once they're on a roll, it can have a slippery slope to where everyone and individuals will be sued for things as stupid as not buying their product, even taking peoples properties, etc, so it wont stop at just suing governments for lost projected profits/ sales. Should we just abandon the EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) as well? ... I mean ... that's bad for business by some of ya'll's standards, eh? If everything is profit driven only and decided by a bunch of CEO's, where does it stop or where is any balance or even safety from itself? We already are at a point where our own property owners in our nation cant even have the final say on whether or not fracking can be done on their own land ... and more. Understand also that the accessibility of this trade contract is very limited to everyone who are hired on Capitalism Hill (aka Capitol Hill) to examine, legislate and debate on this, even to where it can only be argued, debated, etc for a tad over 80 seconds, can only be viewed by them without any notes taken out of the room (you can take notes, but those are confiscated by security and locked away before you leave the room from what I gathered), no phones allowed, and other restrictions that if a member violates any of these rules can/ will be penalized or possibly criminally charged ... THAT IS NOT a democratic process or resembles how we do anything in this country, but more like what you may find in a place like North Korea!
Why the lack of transparency as long as this been in the worx is questionable, especially considering this plan first started back in 2005 and was supposed to be finalized in 2012 or so ... we have members in our own Congress who not have access to all details even, yet are being pressured to do a quick "yes or no" vote, so it doesnt have to be changed, amended and go back and forth, etc. I know President Obama is passionate about this and wants it as one of his accomplishments, and frustrated with folks like Alan Grayson spreading this talk in the middle of a deal, and I believe that the President as well as others who are quick to push it may think it's the best thing since the end of World War 2 maybe. I also respect the plea of Prime Minister Shizo Abe (Japan) who is concerned about the future of Japan's economy, because they have been a tad sluggish for several years ... but understand ... we all in this so called free trade circle globally are feeling the economic pinch right now and facing other economic uncertainties ... EVERYONE ... it's NOT just USA and Japan. You have over 600 corporate advisors involved in putting this together basically ... where is our end and input if most of our key legislators are dependent on them as well as far as campaign financing? I have wrote about this time and again, as far as getting drained by these too big to fail groups which leave us in financial desperation with less money, then we get squeezed time and again and get tossed these unbalanced packages to pass with deadlines and a sales pitch of "do or die", this is why folks like Rep.Grayson and so many others are bellyaching ... it's not straight balanced business doing it like this ... some of these folks pushing this so quick are frankly worried about getting made for pulling a fast one. By the time they publicly present some of this in most cases, it's full of all these fine print treats to the largest corporations and banks that is as thick as some medium size city phone books, and puts consumers, taxpayers and the majority of those who invest on the hook. And all respect to the President here, but what in Hell do you expect Sir? ... look at the history of some of these trade deal's, how many fancy cake deals have we been given that look fake as far as living up to the predicted/ projected rewards or pay- off for what we invest? And THIS IS an "investment" on our part too for those who think the people and countries are not investing ... were investing our future, when we put everything on the line we have from labour, trade and environmental protections/ safeguards, to the money we make and spend, on top of backing others investments if they cant pull their weight ... IT IS our damn business too. This is more than just these 600+ corporate advisors needs, everyone that makes trade work has needs. Was NAFTA and CAFTA that great? ... these people questioning this Mr.President are NOT being unreasonable.
What assurances do American workers, businesses and medium size companies and investors get in this? what are some of the consequences or advantages of removing these tariffs and other so called barrier's? more deregulating? letting these corporate board councils just handle it all without any input from us who are working, spending, investing and making it all work? As far as the worry over China's trade/ market dominance to make thing's more balanced ... we been working hand in hand together with China for years ... Hell ... we basically built their economy, and now were in debt to them ... it's not China's damn fault ... nor do I call our import/ export trade with China even halfway balanced at that ... and who's responsible for that, eh? It's great having these other 11 countries pull together with us, it's great that it creates more jobs for many of those as well, great that it's 40% of the world economic output, etc ... but what IF it dont work out like that? ... who insures us? ... we know our hard work, tax revenue and contractual obligations insure those through legislation that dont carry their end on these mega deals ... but we have no insurance. Labour standard's? ... what are those? ... to create a shitload of slave wage employment in some impoverished countries, and having to reduce our standards, pay, and opportunities here ... especially in these times? I mean, since this is all about love, sharing, jobs, saving the middle class, free trade, democracy and the rest ... are we really helping them or enslaving them more than they already are? Where are our jobs figures today mostly and what industries? Are we better off across the board in employment today than 25 years ago? ... of course not. We buy from you ... but you dont buy from us, eh? ... exactly what kind of exports will this benefit on our end? I could go on and on ... asking these questions and skepticism of some of these deals is no way unreasonable ... as a matter of fact ... it is very pro- business and a basic requirement in any investment ... just ask those mega corporate/ banking folks ya'll are doing business with ... they would agree. And anyone with any common sense would see that some of the decision making in these matters in the past has not been anything to brag about as far as business and economic achievements ... look where the Hell were at now. Would I just blindly vote yes for this out of political or economic desperation on taking a quick gamble/ chance? ... of course NOT.

Part 4 of the "Thinking of the Kid's?" series will be a look at the recent resistance (aka riots) this week taking place in Baltimore, and Baltimore has to be one of the most beautiful cities I been to here in USA, I really mean that, what stand's out there is the historic preservation of the numerous colourful neighbourhoods and some really nice architecture and beautiful central city harbor. To open the posting I chose a video news clip from RT America with Andre Torrence ... a young Baltimore resident who summed it up perfectly of the condition. Also a video & transcript news piece from Democracy Now with Amy Goodman interviewing former Baltimore City Council President Lawrence Bell who makes some great point's, and Rev. Jesse Jackson, even though I never really liked Jesse Jackson for other reason's, he makes some really good point's here and has done quite a bit in the past concerning these type issues, so instead of the major media coverage on this ... I wanted to highlight these folks, then a short video commentary concerning "riots" from John Iadarola of "The Young Turks", and a couple extra videos I tossed in. **** THIS IS JUSTICE: Some bonus video I wanted to add that I borrowed from another posting to show "true justice", or what some would call a sort of "Portrait of Progressive Political Change". This was less than a century ago when the Italian dictator Benito Mussolini and his so called "elite" cult tried fucking the people, some say that the below video is graphic ... I dont feel it is graphic enough, and believe me, I looked for more let's say "detailed" video of their execution. What we see today would not be compared of course to Mussolini and we are suppressed psychologically at times to think that these action's are barbaric ... but ask yourself ... is NOT this neo corporate communism and control of our government by a small fraction not the same thing as this old school fascism? What do these leader's do to our families and children, neighbour's, etc ... indirectly on an annual basis increasingly more, eh? So as you can see ... this video below of what the people do to the so called "leadership" IS NOT any more uncivilized or even barbaric than what a larger or smaller group in government indirectly does to their own people through their neglect and action's. Some people see this as TRUE JUSTICE, resolving the problemo, cutting out the cancer at it's root's, etc, etc ... and who could reasonably argue with that, eh? ... Enjoy!

This morning in the news many are highsiding almost as heroes in the media acting as if they had a victory and stabilized Baltimore restoring law and order, all the speeches are highlighted from President Obama to Mayor Stephanie Rawlings- Blake to Gov.Hogan to Police Commissioner Batts to the National Guard and State Troopers and others ... I am surprised Hillary Clinton didnt show up trying to hustle up a few votes and get in the thick of it saying "I want to be your champion" with Hubby Bill by her side sayin "I feel yo pain". And it's great that all these heroes have restored order and submission, but as usual it doesnt address the issues ... and it was actually the children, teachers and community that done all the community clean up at no cost to the city, on their day of school closings. Sadly when these events go down, the damages end up in the peoples communities, officials make sure they disrupt metro transit services, intercept communications and keep these folks contained with an armed forces perimeter and out of their nicer communities. People are still waiting for answers and investigative results after a couple weeks now ... oddly whenever there is a random homicide in these neighbourhoods, even without any video, with hardly any leads or witnesses ... they usually have answers to the crime on how it went down, with fully concluded toxicology and autopsy reports and who to charge in the case with their life record/ history from birth in a couple dayz and already have a case file on the DA's desk ... and this is what people question and should.
This is more than just the death of Freddie Gray, so stop all the bullshit politipop talk about .... "this doesnt do justice for Freddie", or is "disrespectful to the Gray familia request's for peace and calm", or a disrespect to the community and others ... whenever these events occur, officials alwayz go behind the scenes first to community leaders, preachers and families of the victim's instructing those to take full responsibility and ask for calm, peace, love, and the rest from the community, putting the true victim's balls to the wall. The disrespect as well as the violence comes from the very heroes/ politicians the news is highlighting who dictate this and have been waging a war on peoples rights in our nation ... these kidz who run angry in the street are a result of the condition that ya'll created and imposed ... you groomed them, it is not so much a riot as it is a resistance to corporate communism imposed oppression, some of the resistance would probably be applauded by some of the founders of this nation for that matter, it is the ingredients, recipe and justification for civil disobedience and it's "in order". Our Department of Defense in the 21st century training manual on extremist groups, call's the founding fathers of this nation "extremists" ... imagine that, the ones that fought and died for the type democracy and many of the liberties we have today. In fact ... without the venting of some of this anger, frustration and violence, the community would be lucky to even get a half assed answer in many cases within 6 months for that matter ... so dont lay all the blame on these kidz and saying now ... "all the real progress is down the drain, because of the actions of these thugs, arsonists, thieves and disorderly youth" ... just making up more excuses to stall and buy more time.
Many of these kidz feel caught in an endless cycle and are very aware of the condition, I have talked to so many myself just asking them to explain the condition to me as they see it, many of these kidz see no future, and how can you convince some kidz to respect law and order when some of you yourselves have no respect for law, order, peoples rights, the Constitution and support thieves, thugs and racketeers yourselves while taking money from them and encouraging them through legislation to rob the communities they do business with? You know ... older folks like myself commonly say and think we had it hard as kidz and kidz today dont realize what hard times are, I am sure many heard stories from old timer's ... but what I see today is rougher than anything I had as a kid, I was a teenager in the 1960's/ 1970's as example, and ... I will admit that I was one of those on the edge kidz and had my fair share of legal trouble and locked up a few times. For many kidz today the only way out is to get lucky as far as opportunity and slave harder and harder, back when I was a teenager there was much more chance for opportunity, even many great trade and factory jobs with benefits and decent insurance, plus I was white and that helped ... today ... opportunity dont come knocking at the door for the young, it doesnt even honk it's horn when it drives by for that matter. And for these kidz in these what would be considered otherwise as condemned areas ... it's even less.
From the morning many of these kidz wake up, they have challenges and obstacles the minute they set foot streetside, whether it's just protecting/ defending themselves due to the surroundings to constantly being tagged and harassed by law enforcement, with many getting ass whippings for not much reason, just because they were on the wrong corner at the wrong time ... almost in some cases like walking around with an ID target on your back. For some the only way out is to get the Hell out of the neighbourhood and leave home at an early age, leave the city ... or even leave the country as I done myself as a kid ... and it is harder today than ever to do, unlike when I was a kid, because everyone is tracked as if they have a tracking device built into them. Many of these kidz try their best to do the right thing and allow themselves to get groomed even though they feel doomed ... some resort to recreational drinking and drugs which leads to addictions and making the cycle even harder to break. Why recreational drinking or drugs? ... for many, it is the only escape from the condition ... a sort of vacation away from the reality of daily life, since they have no money to actually take a real vacation, and know nowhere else to go. As far as threatening some of these kids with militarization police moves, curfews or incarceration ... many are not scared, they been there and done that and had plenty of asswhippings as well, they will learn as well to be more organized and efficient in time and recruit more experienced people as well as those with training in various defense methods and combat ... and many will continue to resist, as long as you continue to oppress.
