Survivor to Rubio: Will you reject NRA money? ... CNN

This posting is for the survivors, victims, and their families, of the recent Stoneman Douglas High School terror attack in Parkland, FL (Miami metro). Much credit to these students in particular for standing up for gun reform, and challenging business as usual. I call it "reform", because politicians alwayz use that word, when they want to take more money from us ... so add this to y'all's reform list, eh? I also wanted to do a posting here, because this has been one of the most difficult things for me to even talk about ... and I dont have answers. I'm a person, that has alwayz supported and defended the 2nd Amendment, NRA, and even well regulated militia part, I cherish all my rights, and the Constitution. I never had ANY issues with what types of firearms are sold to folks, or what folks choose to possess and purchase, I was for no limits, which is clear in the "Self Defense" series of this journal/ blog. I myself started using firearms as a kid, and have alwayz been comfortable around them ... whether for hunting, recreation, competition, or packing defense. I used to do postings in this series of firearm reviews, which I havent done in a while, strictly because of these attacks, even though I still keep up with firearms, gun shows and such. I feel as a firearms and defense advocate, that I have a responsibility in this public blog, and in my community, to do this posting ... and feel that all firearms and defense advocates, including the NRA, should also feel a responsibility too. I am forced to change my stand on those limits, since we have such a serious problem, the amount of attacks, whether it is in schools, or public venues, workplace, etc ... is just too much, and not a thing has been done to change a thing. Listening to these victims, families, survivors, especially the kids, being a father and grandfather myself, breaks my heart too. I chose to open above with a quick video, of Cameron Kasky, face to face with Senator Rubio, this is the questions you ask, period. There is a petition above the top video too. Below, I included video and full transcript on President Trump's meeting with these folks to discuss the issues, and a couple videos below that of Emma Gonzalez face to face with NRA Spokesperson, Dana Loesch ... and the public rally speech Emma gave. This is about the American people, more than political highsiding ... after, I will add my input below.

First off, concerning Senator Rubio's response to Cameron Kasky ... this is NOT an answer, you have a responsibility as a Senator, to the people, to answer straight ... this was just dancing around the question and fucking around, political player talk, which is why Kasky said he expected it. It's refreshing to see so many younger people, that are aware enough, and have the gumption to get straight to the point ... asking straight up where these folks stand on donations. The answer should be a simple yes or no, and as Cameron points out ... they can get the people to fund his campaign. After all Rubio's sales talk, he chose NOT to turn down NRA money, even if people supported him financially. Politicians on both sides, choose corporations and banks over the people, bottom line ... if they dont do what voters ask, vote them out ... no excuses. If the NRA is not doing anything to take responsibility and make needed change, and if you want change, as a candidate, since it is part of that same agenda ... you simply tell the NRA, that you are sorry, but if they cannot contribute to that change that a majority of people want ... you cannot accept their money, period. The NRA spent $50 million on politics in 2016, they spent $31 million of that, strictly on the Trump push, being $11,438,118 in Trump support, and $19,756,346 to oppose Hillary Clinton ... that's a Hell of a donation. I was listening to NRA CEO, Wayne LaPierre yesterday addressing this, for being a CEO, he had nothing much to say or contribute, other than, basically arming teachers and putting armed officers in schools, saying there was a socialist conspiracy to disarm everyone, abolish the 2nd Amendment, etc, etc. There was an armed Sheriff's deputy at the school when the shooting was going down, he declined to intervene, while unarmed teachers put their lives on the line for these kids, that deputy resigned after. Good he resigned ... you take a job, you do and get the job done, eh? ... you have the experience, training, etc ... you dont fuck around and back down, or you dont take the job, simple.

There are laws on the books, that are not even enforced as far as guns/ ammo sales, many loopholes, there is not enough safeguards and regulations. Putting some in place, and reforming legislation for such, IS NOT abolishing the 2nd Amendment, or taking away any rights of existing gun owners. Trump also in his meeting with folks, pushed the arming teachers thing (everyone was briefed before the went into the meeting), and this is the popular NRA and political solution/ stand. In a country this large ... where in Hell are you going to get the money? I mean, y'all are spending out the ass as it is, conservatives at that ... and pushing the only budget/ spending solutions, is to get deeper in debt, take it out of old folks Social Security or Medicare, milk working families more, etc ... while y'all are shelling out much of our taxes to CEO's, multinational billionaires and corporations, fighting wars for Arabs and oil companies, selling off our rights, lands, national treasures, and assets to multinational investors, etc. Be realistic, we dont have the money to lock down and arm all the schools, and teachers have enough of a job to begin with, than having to now also be unpaid cops/ soldiers. And if you did lock them all down, you would have what's like a communist state ... certainly y'all wouldnt advocate a commie agenda, eh? This should be no problem, to get legislation passed, with republicans having a majority, and a deal maker President, with a popular House Speaker and party organizer, Rep.Paul Ryan... that say, everything they want to do is for the "American People". You should be able to pass through reform, without one bit of democrat support ... even easier, than the trillion dollar tax reform and massive debt increase, that y'all were able to push through at lightning speed.

Bans on bump stocks, or restricting sales, tightening regulations on certain advanced rifles, to just any Joe/ Jane that walks in the store door or gun show, is not going to infringe on folks rights and ability to well arm themselves, simple. Not even raising the age for purchase from 18 to 21 is good enough, which the NRA even opposes ... it gives one determined to do a mass killing, an extra 3 years to plan and better detail, and psych themselves up, for their attack, and unfortunately as I write this, others are planning attacks too. As for the other talk about putting all the nut cases in mental health joints or whatever, again, where's the money and manpower to do it? And each shooter is different, even though this shooter (or terrorist), Cruz, was looked at as a lunatic ... he was also a Junior ROTC cadet and marksman shooter, he even targeted and killed fellow JROTC in his rampage, the NRA contributes equipment and related finance to the JROTC as well, for recruiting young officers for future military. Red Flags were a dime a dozen in this, and everyone from locals to the FBI, and the NRA missed it ... what is the problem there? Some folks just do not have the discipline and what it takes to be armed, even if they dont have a documented mental illness or criminal history, and should not even be recruited into military or law enforcement ... or even have access to arms, that is our problem as well. I dont have answers, but we have many folks with the will to demand change, and many ideas as well. We have a serous problem, and hundreds of millions of firearms, in this country alone. We have a pressured and angry society, who are squeezed, cheated, and pushed into a ratrace controlled by an oligarchy, with many social and economic issues, putting folks on the edge. We are not going to successfully get rid of arms, but we can really tighten ship and clean house. And we dont need politicians dancing around shit for more years, playing the same record with no results, and only talking about it for their political aspirations, it needs IMMEDIATE action, not years of debate. This is about the people of this country, and our children, which are our future.

Trump's Budget Cuts Trillions From Programs For The Needy To Pay For His Tax Cuts ... Thanx to The Ring of Fire

First off, Happy Valentine's Day to my wife, daughters, granddaughter, and ladies across America. Part of this posting's title was inspired by the Saint Valentine's Day Massacre (wikipedia) in 1929 Chicago. This posting will focus on this proposed 2019 budget of the Trump crew, and will serve 3 series of this journal/ blog. I chose Farron Cousins above for an intro rant, because he's right on the money ... and a couple petitions above that. It's in the "SNAP Challenge" series, because I am 100% opposed to ANY cuts whatsoever to SNAP (Food Stamps) especially, to help those with nutritional needs, and because SNAP is vital to our domestic economy and business across America ... I support, especially in this economy, even the expansion of SNAP. We should NOT have to depend on food banks, churches, and panhandling in the streets, to feed our own people, that's what we have taxes, fees, and people's government for. It's in the "Poverty & Despair" series, because this constant cuts to pay for giving more welfare to multinational corporations, that are drowning in record breaking profits as it is ... which is insanity, and putting the most vulnerable citizens/ workers of America, and our government/ voice/ democracy, into even a deeper rut. We alwayz hear from the wealthy, whining that working poor dont pay taxes ... they pay taxes on everything they do, buy, and spend, while fueling the economy, and more than most of y'all percentagewise. It's in the "How to Privatize America" series, because it is forcing us into a socioeconomic disaster, and making America weaker, and now having to depend on those who steal and recklessly use, or waste, much of our tax revenues ... to start dictating our lives and spending priorities more than ever, and removing all ownership of our country from the people. A few links below on this recent budget proposals, and slippery transformation of SNAP ... of giving food boxes to SNAP recipients, of shelf- stable government canned and packaged foods, milk, meat, beans, fruit, etc (who will get that contract?) ... not fresh produce, as they are trying to paint this as, or the person receiving it, getting to choose foods. The NY Times piece has a view of the budget linked in it too. Also a link from the Philly Tribune, for those like myself, that remember the dayz of folks in lines to get their government surplus foods. And an importante video message below that, on how SNAP makes America stronger ... and for some bipartisan history, on how beneficial both Republicans and Democrats felt that the Food Stamp programme is to America, and why it was started. I will add my part below, and a closing music video from Svetlanas ... the song title "I Must Break You", is simple, as to what the people of this country need to do, as far as breaking the current political cesspool in Washington, to put up some kind of roadblock to this rape of America.

Thomas Hudson Pickering/ Ranch Chimp & wife, Rosalie

I havent read all the orange fox (Trump) budget, but just the first 32 pages I read earlier in the NY Times link, can be deceiving, with all kinds of talk about families, kids, workers, veterans, and being all about love for everyone. They say it's all about saving taxpayers money from excessive spending and waste ... this budget is exactly opposite of what it's being showcased as, and more full of shit than a sewage treatment plant! We are not going to save a buck, in fact, damn near every buck that we do get, will be also taken by the corporations. This so called tax reform, and the couple thousand dollars or whatever we get cut from our taxes this year, will go in our pockets, and come out of our other pocket with lightning speed, because of all the rest it is going to cost us, just to please the big money that drafts all these proposals. You'll be lucky to get a month of child care expenses and some Happy Meals for the kids a couple weekends out of it. As far as reducing our debt ... not a damn thing they are doing will reduce our country's debt, and only dig us deeper into debt by the trillions if anything ... we'd be lucky to pay the interest alone ... everything is specifically designed to get us and other countries, deeper in debt. This $200 billion for infrastructure is nothing but a teaser, it is designed to put damn near all the burden on the states individually. With state, county, and city budgets already strapped for cash on budgets in the red ... it will only lead to having the states have to raise even more taxes, fines, and fees on the people/ consumers, and much of that going to the mega investors, many being foreign investors, who will have almost exclusive ownership throughout America, of infrastructure, and much of our national treasures and assets. At the same time, it will depend too much on private investment from those who have all the money to invest, in turn, they will also have a whole list of fees, tolls, etc, that we will have to also pay, just to have access to the new infrastructure ... and they'll nickel and dime you to death. With government spending cuts to transportation, environmental, consumer protection, regulation/ oversight, public media access, and to even cut our ability to challenge in the courts any lawsuits or grievances we have. They are pushing the U.S. Supreme Court, to get rid of most negotiating power, and hand everything over to their corporate arbitration panels. It's a stab in the back to so many graduate students across America as well ... and to me, especially because of the global arena of competition we face, we should be giving 16 years of public education paid for to those who need it, as a necessity. When I was a kid, we knew it was importante to have 12 years of education, and we paid for it in government spending, 16 years is importante today, for decent paying jobs of today. This will NOT put private schools/ colleges out of business, but force them to be even more competitive.

***** U.S. National Debt Clock: Real Time

The talk we will hear most, is that there is no need for concern, because this budget as presented will never get passed. The concern though is, that such a massacre budget, will get many revisions, and without a strong challenge, will at least be a severe assault on America. Republicans in particular been planning for years, and publicly stating what they plan to do ... so this should be of no surprise to anyone who's paid atencion. They present such a drastic spending cuts proposal, not intending to get it, but to get as much of it as they can. Look at it like when you go into a court with a lawsuit with your attorney ... you ask for $5 million, but dont expect it, and know you're ready to accept half. Whatever they do get ... will be bad enough for us ... which is why I hope, that not a damn thing gets done up there ... cause anything will only be to favour corporate billionaire interests, with a few dog biscuits and leftover crumbs given to us. I agree that we need drastic spending cuts of the pork, but they can cut much of the welfare to billionaires and corporations, and those will still be billionaires. While they are handing out all these food baskets (America's Harvest Boxes) to even more families that get put out of living wage jobs ... they in Washington, sure as Hell are not going to cut their caviar, expensive wines, and steak luncheons, or their 10's of thousand dollar travel expenses, eh? They say these food baskets are for concern over peoples nutrition, their love for us and our well being. Maybe some in Washington should divest from some of the junk food businesses they're invested in, and the pharma and insurance companies that capitalize off the sickness it brings, eh? Even food chain giants like Walmart and others are worried, and will be whining up a storm over these damn food baskets. Fear will spread throughout stock markets, sending some into sudden nose dives. The defense spending is even getting more insane by the year, and how much is actually defending us? We hear China is building up and may attack us, we need more nukes, etc ... China isnt going to nuke us, and these SOB's in Washington know it! ... the economic impact would hit China even worse than us ... this is silly shit! ... we have strong defense to challenge anyone as it is. Much defense spending is not to protect our country from attack, as much as it's to rape resources and fossil fuels, whether it's in the America's, Middle East, or Sub- Saharan countries in Africa. With the massive growing increase for demand of fossil fuels for energy needs, we are lucky to have enough to last for another 40 years, and they're NOT renewable. Take your budget scam book, and toss it in the paper recycle bin ... and dont waste any more of our time and money, printing more shit up like it.

The Courageous Life of Ida B. Wells #OrdinaryWomen ... Thanx to feministfrequency

This posting will serve the "Black History/ Harmon Loft" and "Public Patriots" series of the journal/ blog. This posting will focus on Ida B. Wells (wikipedia), who I wanted to have in this journal anywayz, as a past public patriot in particular, and still invigorates that spirit of democracy to this day. This series of black history, is in memory of, dedicated to, and inspired by a friend, Harmon Loft. I chose Anita Sarkeesian above, to do an intro video. I also been intending to have Ida in here, because years back when living in Chicago for a while, I met a girl, named Gail (Abigail) Barnes, who told me she was related to Ida Wells ... whether or not she really was, I dont know, but she sure as Hell knew alot about this woman and familia. One night after getting my paycheck, I asked Gail if I could take her to a pizza joint in Chicago that I liked, and she never been to, called Uno's. This is when she laid the name Ida Wells on me ... she told me she was related to Ida ... and I guess expected that I heard the name ... I had no idea who in Hell Ida Wells was, or ever heard the name before. Anywayz, after eating and a few beers, Gail started running down all this history stuff to me about this woman, Wells ... Gail was intense, and painted Ida, as this strong heroic type fighter for justice (which she is). Gail also was telling me, that so many of the black people that lived in South Chicago, were from the deep south, in particular, Mississippi, which I never knew either ... supposedly, Chicago was a popular place for freed slaves to run to, after the civil war.

Anwayz, what a life this woman Ida had, and really displayed that toughness and leadership quality, despite all the obstacles and fear of that time. Her outspoken wayz in journalism enlightened and motivated so many folks, and made women also take a hard look at themselves and their place in American society. Without all the political correctness that is so popular today in media, Ida laid it out straight. She was not like many of the figurine types you see today, that cringe in fear to those with power ... and she was one that you could not buy ... unlike so many even in politics you see today, this woman was born to lead, period ... and had the discipline. Even though we have came a long wayz in race relations today ... there is still much racism. I been online for 10 years ... and if you look online/ social media ... you can see clearly, just how much racism there still is in this country. Racism is also coming back out today more than it has in years, because we have a President who helps inspire it too. I have no proof that the President (Trump) is racist, or would even have reason to be, but some of what he sayz, heats up and inspires some of those who are, to come out of the closet. I wanted to add a taste below first, from "History is a Weapon", of what Ida has to say, you can feel the passion in it. And it may seem somewhat violent, but it needs to be violent, because that was the actual condition ... there is no logical reason to sugarcoat reality out of political correctness. I also added a piece from "The Real News", to let her great grandson, Daniel Duster, talk about Ida, and the kind of woman she was.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren on the Senate Bank Deregulation Bill ... Thanx to Senator Elizabeth Warren

This posting will be for the "Too Big to Fail Ba(n)kery", and "Elizabeth Warren" series of this journal/ blog ... to focus on something that is not getting much media atencion right now, as far as new banking deregulations, cause they're fixin to stick the shank in Dodd- Frank. I chose Senator Warren above for the opening video, because she alwayz gets straight to the point with folks, while bringing public awareness as well, and Thank You Senator Warren. There is also a few petitions to sign, above Warren's video. Before I start though ... Congratulations to President Trump, in a great SOTU speech last night, despite any disagreements I have ... but it's just a speech too, and you have a good hustler making it ... and Mrs. Trump was knockout beautiful as alwayz! {:-) The speech was great, much optimism, and even a few parts, where President Trump sounded more progressive to me, than even some of these so called "liberals". On the flip side of the speech, there was just so much as far as serious issues that were NOT addressed, which is why I do postings like this one. This same confidence and optimism you seen at last week's dinner engagement with Trump and European business leaders and investors in Davos . You can bet they were all cherry picked to join Trump, and especially praise the tax reform, while highlighting their American investments, so it could be filmed. Part of this posting's title was inspired by the 2010 song "Unleash the Beast", by the music crew "Sealed in Scarlett" out of Hertfordshire, England, with the song at the tail of this posting. Since they been unleashing the beast of the east (Wall Street, Washington) on America, it is the peoples responsibility to release the beast within them, to counter it! I'm not an accountant, financial advisor, in the banking business or whatever, but I have alot of questions as a working class person when folks are trying to sell me on something, and it's healthy for taxpayers/ consumers to question everything. When we bailout and subsidize these investment banks/ bankers, we are basically financially covering folks with our taxes, that are gambling, ratholing, and loaning out peoples money, that is not even theirs to begin with, eh? Below, Gillian White will explain in simple terms, what Dodd- Frank is, for anyone not familiar with it. After, the first NY Times article on this, and the 2nd article from Common Dreams, for their input. After, I will add my views below.

Thomas Hudson Pickering/ Ranch Chimp

I'm not a hard- ass, I can understand the spot that these democrats are in, that are supporting this, as far as what the republicans are pushing, and they have to try to compete with republicans, at a time where they are almost rock bottom. Plus, much of this is this ratrace we are in to compete and sustain substantial global economic power as a nation, and the oligarchs buy and play both sides and all countries with their neoliberal agenda too. As for me, even Dodd- Frank dont cut it enough, I feel we need something more like Glass- Steagall more than we even needed it back in the 1930's, especially with the global markets and banking of today. And Yes, I support the separation of investment and commercial banking, because of these times ... because of the way and packaging, they peddle these ideas and plans to so many, that sound like wayz to get rich for many ... but very few will. It also mathematically faces too much risk to folks that cant afford to gamble at that level, and financial risk is VERY importante for the bottom 90%, the bottom 90% is what fuels the economic engine ... and this is not good, when you are also cutting consumer protections, at the same time. Of course, a little gambling is fine, I gamble myself, but it can be intoxicating, you must know when to walk and call it quits. While your 401k may look great now, or wherever else you have your money, it can excite you, and the younger you are, the more down hits you can take, because of the long stretch ... but the market is like a rollercoaster. I myself think 401k's are bunk marketed trash actually, but that's just me ... and so many praise them, because that's what they were given/ offered, by those in control. Any of these plans that are peddled off on us to choose from, are designed like any financial business or casino, and rest assured, the house comes out the winner percentagewise, with more fine print, fees, penalties and regulations than you can shake a stick at. The banks and portfolio managing firms have much lower risks, and the bigger they are, the less the risks. They dont mind you getting the penalties, fees, and want to regulate and have a hand on every dollar you spend, save, or invest to get their cut, but they want all regulations taken away for themselves. Plus they have our tax dollars and too many politicians in their pockets, to even know what it feels like to take a big hit. The economy is rocketing off, much improvement to get to this point, did come under the Obama administration too, so not all credit should go only to this new administration. In my view, we may be growing a little too fast also, and the optimism may be overrated, as much as many stocks are overvalued ... but that's just my view. The bigger the bubble, the bigger the burst too ... and yes, when the smaller banks/ firms go bust, it WILL put much more stress on the system at top too.

Rodgin Cohen Sees Significant Bank Deregulation in 2018 ... Thanx to Bloomberg TV Markets and Finance

Rodgin Cohen calls this a regulatory regime, I call it a deregulatory regime. What this is going to be peddled as (by both political sides), is to make buying a house more easy for the working classes, and improve community economies, which is a good thing on the surface. With the loose oversight though (and you can bet it will be LOOSE as it progresses), an increase in these subprime lenders, cash for title, and other joints, will come out of the woodwork big time (all targeted at the working low income). I heard the argument first hand too, from a lady I know that has worked in regulations for Bank of America for 20 years or so now ... she complained how much of a mess Dodd- Frank has been for her department, as far as regulation. And no, I wouldnt vote for any banking deregulation in these times, and would sign every petition against it ... there is NO NEED for it, we been growing our economy without it, and will continue to, without it. As usual, we are being squeezed and drained dry, and purposely, to feed these people at top, to make us depend on them only, with no peoples voice/ input or representation left. My daughter was telling me the other day (not referring to this), about how things got so screwed up years back (08), because they were allowed to peddle these loans to working folks, that they knew many they would foreclose on, because these folks would lose their homes very easy, if they took any kind of financial/ income, or illness hit ... basically pushing folks to live beyond their means in a way, like with much else that's peddled for business. And despite the great economic news, unemployment numbers or whatever, profits at top are booming ... but the payscales at the bottom 90% have seen very little boom, considering the inflation/ cost of living. She was telling me also, that even so many of the young professionals that live in these high dollar places Uptown, and buy these import luxury cars (some clients and associates of hers), are all living on plastic/ loans, and many in big debt, but are not even looking at it, and just living for today without thinking. My daughter has a point, and you can bet that the slope this deregulation will slide on, will bring that out big time. As far as the Volcker Rule not applying to the smaller, as Cohen points out above, as making sense and simplifying things, it does make sense. But I also think this will climb uphill as well in time, especially in these good economic times, we will let down our guard, and the big players like Jamie Dimon WILL get similar deregulation, less capital/ assets requirements, and far less oversight, stress testing, and whatever else. And I dont agree with having taxpayers pay for speculation investments of high risk, regardless of how great the damn economy is. When anyone else gambles, we dont get subsidized and bailed out, even if you're gambling in the markets, we all have to pay and swallow our losses, and even have to still pay the lousy management fees, to those who mismanaged our shit.

I dont even see any reason for this deregulation, except for republicans pushing through shit faster than they can properly draft it, just because they are in this long awaited majority position. We have been growing our economy steadily, with record profits off the charts, and all this came without the deregulation of these institutions, go figure. This deregulation is about as much needed as the so called tax reform was needed, which was also pushed through in good economic times, in other words, our growth came WITHOUT the tax reform. And now, while damaging the deficit more, we'll end up in an estimated $1.5 trillion more debt, because of the reform, and mind you, these are the people (republicans) that they call "deficit hawks". And I would bet money, that 10 years down the road, the figures as far as what it will cost us, will even be much larger than $1.5 trillion off this new tax reform, they alwayz underestimate, to push it through, and overbid everything. And you are going to have to cut social needs and even public amenities ... which they want, because they want to privatize anything public/ government owned ... in their view, everything from freewayz to public parks to libraries, to public schools, to public water, is some form of socialism, telling us it will lead to communism, while those orchestrating, drafting and dictating this shit at the top are the actual communists. This bloody damn border wall alone came in during the Trump campaign run, as $10 billion needed, in the last year, it jumped to $18 billion, and now to like $25 billion, after it's all said and done, we'll be shelling out over $30+ billion probably. And Senator Warren is right, even though the Volcker Rule and requirements will still apply to the largest of these banking institutions, there are a shitload of side treats in the legislation, that the top will make substantial gains on ... and you know damn well, that it will mostly go to stock buybacks and executive compensations, not to loan out to the smaller, now less regulated institutions. All this sales pitch talk about the banks at top are going to help the smaller institutions, is also bullshit. And if we see some, it wont last long, because this culture is a jungle, and all these large entities are only out to gobble up everyone else. Just like all this talk about companies giving out bonuses ... for every bonus they give out, they are laying off another, this is part of the scam, and how they sell you. Look at the tax reform, when they were telling us we were going to have simplified taxes on a postcard with 14 lines, as I pointed out I that posting linked above ... it's NOT likely. There is NO SIMPLIFIED TAX FORM POSTCARD, they never even included it in the bloody damn bill, why in Hell do you think they were laughing while showing the card on the news ... because they think most people are dumb enough to buy it.

TURPIN FAMILY HOMESCHOOL PRISON: Escape from the DUNGEON OF DOOM & The Freeing of 12 Others From the PSYCHOLOGICAL GLOOM ... The "Bible Bunker" Edition ... (PROBLEM PARENTS PT.7)- (THINKING OF THE KIDS?" PT.7)- (HUMAN MORALITY PT.24)

Louise and David Turpin with baby

This posting will be for 3 series of this journal, to look at the alleged torture and abuse case of David and Louise Turpin, on their children in Perris, California (little over an hour southeast of LA). David and Louise are from Princeton, West Virginia ... but it appears, they began their abuse cult and such, in Rio Vista, Texas (about and hour southwest of Dallas- Fort Worth), then relocating it to California. This is a pretty extreme case, with a long history of many years of abuse and torture. The reason this is in the "Human Morality" series as well, is because, you wont find this sort of well calculated and extreme torture of offspring/ children, especially by the mother, anywhere else in the animal kingdom, this is unique to humans, and a display of twisted man made morals ... morality, in my view, is even natural as well with other animals (Prof. Frans de Waal). It is in the "Problem Parents" series for obvious reasons, and in my opinion, a perfect example of why abortion is needed. David Turpin bragged to folks, that the reason for so many kids, is because God called him to. It's in the "Thinking of the Kids?" series, because we boast endlessly about how everything we do, and our values, are all for the best interests of the kids ... I mean, we have a society (again, IMO), that exploits kids on every level, with adults and parents, that use children for everything from tax breaks and money making ventures, to bargaining chips, where parents use kids to battle each other, not even thinking of the kids, and how the kids grasp all of this, nor allowing the children's voices be heard hardly. Grooming children to be like we are, and to continue to not just make things better for our societies, but to continue to make the mistakes that we did, and contaminate their brains in the process, with our institutional assembly line way of thinking. The parents were formally charged yesterday, both defendants entered a "not guilty" plea at their arraignment ... and now the office of District Attorney is asking for $13 million bonds each for both defendants. I read up quite a bit on this case of what I could find so far, and will be following this trial. But below, I chose a few pieces to link, to get a general view of what's going down with this. The defendants are innocent until proven guilty, and it appears so far, that the DA's office of Riverside County, is handling this case fairly and carefully ... you dont want to fuck up on a case like this, take your time, there is much investigative work still to be done. After below, I wanted to add some of my own views on this case ... and these are my views only, from what I gathered so far.

***** Coalition for Responsible Home Education (CRHE): Abuse in Homeschooling Environments ... (Advocate for Homeschooled Children)

First of all, I had no bloody idea, just how lax the law is as far as homeschooling requirements, registry, and oversight, and the state to state extremes of such ... it's almost unbelievable. Homeschooling is gaining popularity because of problems in public schools, funding, and some of the curriculum battles that are being pushed these days, low scores or whatever. Many fundamoralist religious types as well, dont like the science or history that may be taught in some public schools, and feel that they should teach creationism theory over scientific facts. They may not approve of the history that may be taught, which more these dayz, exposes the negative side of religion in history, wars, torture, or slavery, that has been covered up otherwise, for example. Some parents just see the public school systems as failures in advanced education or whatever, falling too short of what we should expect. I dont believe in this state to state shit, when it comes to oversight of public, private, or homeschools, I feel there should be more across the board federal oversight and regulations. And when it comes to the education end, these home schools should have more inspections and tests to see if the children are getting at least, sufficient education. I also hear that some of these homeschoolers, are opposed to basic much needed vaccinations too. Apparently folks like the Turpins have been cruising for years below radar, and no one had any idea what's been going on ... and sadly, there is probably alot more going on too. I noticed David Turpin, as school principal, also changed the status to a non- religious school for registry. And I seriously doubt that it was non- religious, in fact, they were very religious, and even the grandparent of the kids in West Virginia talked about how they were learning not only bible verses as education, but trying to learn the entire bible. Now, I'm not against folks reading a bible, especially in their own home, I have read the Holy Bible myself, both old and new testaments, and found some great stories in it. Another case from past, when they examined the surviving kids from the Branch Davidian (wikipedia) compound, for example ... some could not tell a circle from a square, but knew entire bible scriptures. Some Turpin children when rescued, didnt even know what medicine or a police officer was ... what kind of education were they getting, to not even know of this or the outside world and how to get by? Of course in these preliminary investigative stages, the DA isnt going to bring religion into this, or motive ... they are getting the charges straight, as far as the clear evidence they have found. But I would bet money, that there was a strong religious programming and ideology behind even some of the torture (I look at religious systems as an ideology, not spirituality). I had the opportunity to talk to a 17 year old girl back in the 1990's, that ran away from a home like this, and she was getting help ... the story she told me in depth of the abuse and religious brainwashing, as well as being handcuffed to the bed when sleeping at night, was mind blowing to me.

Aunt of 13 malnourished Perris children tried to get in touch with family for years ... Thanx to ABC7

North Texans Share Details On Turpin Family ... Thanx to CBSDFW

All credit in this case should go to the 17 year old girl, that managed to carry through the 2 year or so escape plan, and not caving in as her sister did who escaped with her, and running back to the house, out of fear of being beaten or perhaps killed by their father. That takes courage and strong determination, because the years of psychological imprisonment alone is hard to handle, and also being cut off from outside communications, not even knowing what you are escaping into ... compound that with the physical frailty and lack of adequate nutrition, that also feeds not only the body, but mind, makes it even harder. I'm really not so sure what to believe the sister of Louise Turpin, Elizabeth Flores, is feeling or thinking ... or about her saying that she/ they been trying to get the Turpin familia to Skype for 20 years, perhaps she made a mistake on that, after all, Skype started in 2003 ... so she must have got it the day it came out, eh? Nor do I understand her tears, I mean, when I cry, I actually have tears ... so I have questions as to her. As far as the grandmother who sayz that the familia was the perfect familia when she visited them 6 years ago or whenever, I have to question that too. They must have done a Hell of a job cleaning the home and rehearsing the kids with threats or whatever, getting the kids all cleaned up, since they couldnt even shower more than once or twice a year, etc. I mean ... it just dont add up, that no one suspected there is something wrong here. In todayz society, when so many of us are glued to our iPhones, laptops or whatever, we also ignore too much that is going on around us, of course, out of being polite, not nosing into others business, etc. I myself just from what little I seen, have no doubt that I would have got involved, questioned, and said something ... I am like that to this day, even in my own community, I have no fear of parents, or if I'm politically correct or the other crap. The reports on the Turpin familia in North Texas, especially their short stay in Fort Worth ... I dont understand what qualifies to respond to a report of screams in a residential neighbourhood, or for CPS to at least make a visit. But I feel the actual torture intensified in Rio Vista, because of the isolation and more rural setting ... a neighbour in Rio Vista, described the Turpin's home as a "religious compound" years back, and in a town that small, word travels fast. I feel that David, as well as mom/ Louise, had to know exactly what they were doing, so I will have a hard time to swallow an insanity defense, or voices from God or other nonsense. David was an engineer, and made a decent paycheck, he, and I assume Louise, also knew when to move, if the heat was coming down on them, when to file bankruptcy, and avoid debts. Obviously from their public visits, to even Louise taking a son to an outside school for classes and staying outside the room, tells me they were watching every move these kidz made. They rehearsed these kids well with fear or whatever, as far as visits to Disney theme park, attire/ clothing, making sure they didnt give out their names, etc ... that requires a certain amount of sanity to be that well calculated.

DEYSHIA HARGRAVE: Louisiana School Teacher who RAILED against Pay Injustice ... JAILED & BAILED ... The "Democracy over Bureaucracy" Edition ... (PUBLIC PATRIOTS PT.56)- (INCARCERATED AMERICAN PT.30)- (NOT COOL 4 SCHOOL PT.13)

Deyshia Hargrave (center), after being voted 2015- 2016 Rene Rost Middle School "Teacher of the Year" by her colleagues

**** I stand with Deyshia Hargrave (Care2 petition)

This posting will serve 3 series of this journal/ blog. To look at the case of a Louisiana school teacher, Deyshia Hargrave, who stood up at a school board meeting, and tried to question the pay raises of officials, when teachers cant even get a pay raise that they are supposed to by contract. Deyshia is also a mom, and has to work 2 jobs to cut it. Deyshia, simply for questioning this, was jailed, and had to put up bail. Even though the school board declined to press charges, the state/ county/ city did, in this case, the bullshit charge of resisting or failing to comply with officers request (she DID comply ... and I hope she sues their ass) ... this is something that been growing as well. Being that, even the board may not want to press charges (which they are only doing to save themselves from negative publicity), the state/ county/ city can pick up charges in the U.S. . But in the past, that only applied mainly to more serious crimes/ charges ... assault, theft, harassment, rape, or whatever, to where the victim/ plaintiff may fear to press charges ... today, they pick up the charges on the least little thing and jail/ charge anyone, in this case, even a school teacher for speaking up. This has got quite a bit of coverage in mainstream and social media nationwide ... and it should. American teachers, students, and parents in general, no matter which political party they are cornered into and programmed to embrace, should take a close look at this, to see what has been a growing disease in our Democracy. And if people feel outraged with fire over it ... it is normal ... you are NOT some radical for doing so ... the superintendent/ board is out of order, not the teachers! I credit most of this to the growing culture that comes from the neoliberal ideology, of cheating and squeezing the worker or consumer, that is being pushed on us, as a new culture ... it starts at the top in Washington and Wall St, and makes it's way to the local levels, whether through budget cuts, reckless spending, legislation, privatization, gentrification, corruption, etc. This is another example of how they are chipping away our rights, Constitution, and democracy ... it is our responsibility to fight back. I credit and look at people like Deyshia as public type patriots, for standing up to this. Some local newsread linked below (UPDATED), and I also included a full video below that of what went down, and the way these boards play this, to shut out your voice.

The article was updated, now accusing a couple board members and teachers of "setting" this up to oust the superintendent. The superintendent gets a $38K a year raise, on top of a car and bonuses ... what do the teachers in the trenches doing all the work get? Bottom line ... teachers/ workers/ parents of the community should have a choice or vote, or whatever, to determine who is in charge and at what cost. Today we see more of this one sided type thing, where the people and workers are cut out, whether it is with a superintendent, a CEO, or a politician.

POLAR VORTEX & THE "REX" 2018: The BOLD, COLD, & Politically UNTOLD Science of Global Warming ... The "Art of the Fart" Edition ... (GLOBAL WAR'N'ING PT.52)

Image result for polar vortex climate change

CO2 emissions from fossil fuel burning caused the Arctic to warm at least twice as fast as the rest of the globe, resulting in the disappearance of Arctic sea ice- which in turn weakens the polar vortex, which in turn favors cold air intrusion into lower latitudes, and vise- versa

Trump: Record Cold Disproves Global Warning! ... Thanx to Climate State

This posting will serve as Part 52 of the "Global War'n'ing" series of this journal/ blog. This will focus on our winter seasons. The main reason for this posting, is because so many folks over at least 30 years or so, that have asked me, when I talk about global warming ... why if the earth is warming, would we have all this frigid weather and snow, ice, etc? And this is a reasonable question, a question you still hear frequently now ... and can get a little confusing, unless you look at the simple basics of precipitation, the seasons, jet stream or whatever. So I put it as simple as I can to try to make the point when folks ask this. It is just having an understanding of the basics ... and as the link below points out, a need to differentiate between climate and weather. I mean, this is the kind of stuff I remember from grade school in the 1960's at that, so I have no scientific background. It's as simple as having a basic understanding of what happens to components, when you put or mix the wrong fluids in your car. I was browsing some reads and vidz online to post here, so a couple links I chose below, and the video above to open with, that is clear and simple. After, at the bottom, I wanted to add a few words myself.

First of all, the President of a world leading country such as the U.S., in this case, President Trump, who I'll just call "Rex", since he acts more like a king than a President ... should be inviting scientists into his White House circle, to have input on what we can do to benefit our societies, and clean up our act, environmentally. Not insulting science because the President may disagree with something ... which is like the "art of the fart", since all he been doing is releasing gas/ emissions from his mouth. We also should be setting an example, since we think of ourselves as world leaders, innovative minded, trendsetters, or whatever, to the rest of the world, by actually "doing something" that stands out and makes us leaders. When I woke up this morning, like any morning, before I even get out of bed, I clicked on the tele to catch the news. I was mainly thinking about the bomb cyclone storm to get updated on (CNN), that is hitting the east coast, which has affected everything from schools to workers to local governments, the rich, the poor, and the economy. The news on this, was actually short in comparison to the news about 10's of thousands of people standing in line, even in cold, to buy Steve Bannon's book bitching about Trump or whatever ... Bannon's book, as well as Trump's retaliatory Tweets, actually has most of the airtime by a large percentage on this morning's news ... I shit you not. And I actually like otherwise, some of what Bannon talks about, I just have a different view and ideas on how to better the country ... but I dont care to hear him bitch about Trump, after he was in bed with him ... any more than I care to hear Donna Brazile bitch about Hillary Clinton, after she was in the same bed with her. But listening to this, reminds me of little toddlers at a daycare facility fighting over toys, but even toddlers have enough common sense to know when to let it go. I guess for some this is entertaining, which is cool, if that's your thing. I myself would not read, even for free, any of these petty bitch fight books, that a bunch of Washington and Wall Street millionaires/ billionaires make millions off of ... about their miserable goddamn lives, or Twitter wars, or whatever, because they woke up with the red ass. People who endlessly use words like "God Bless America", "Make America Great Again", "We do everything for the American people", etc ... when they do nothing but sit on their ass, burn us, and engage in stupidity ... mind you ... these are people educated in the best institutions, have considerable wealth, that actually think of themselves as leaders at that.

We dont have to wait another 20 years to see how bad things can get ... the bold reality when you look at the entire current condition, is that the globe is in a state of emergency today. It's not only these winter storms, or the wildfires, or droughts ... but even the air and waters. I was reading up the other day, just how bad the air quality is in major global cities like Delhi, the air pollution is so bad, for the millions of folks in the city breathing it, it's like the equivalent of smoking 50 cigarettes a day (Vox) , and this is also in other major cities of the globe. And this is not going to stop any time soon, but get even worse without strict immediate action ... despite how far we are coming along with renewables. The fact is, we are getting deeper into this mess by the day, because the demand and extraction of fossil fuels is greater than it ever was. What is also greater than ever, is all the new technology for extracting fossil fuels, and the billions of investments going into such, along with tax subsidies. On the flip- side, there is also a mass amount of new technology to use, to "clean up" production on sites of these industries, they dont want to spend a dime to clean up, that is where we need legislation to make them, and force public demand. After all, these resources are a commodity, so not just to use as energy, but to obtain wealth. Look at it like a new goldmine, with investors drooling to get their hands on every ounce they can get ... therefore, there is much more focus in energy investment seminars to invest in this over renewables currently, and because of the tax incentives to do so, on top of it. So a big problem is our politicians, like with everything else ... while they boast in political talk about our green goals for 2030, 2040 or whatever, which they keep moving up the date year to year, they are not doing enough to stop what is happening and to make change that's needed now. So when these folks constantly talk about reform, this culture of filth for wealth needs to be reformed now. Public pressure is needed, and frankly many of these so called political leaders need to be retired and replaced, because they are fossils themselves in their thinking, psychologically intoxicated with money, and locked in bubbles, with their heads so far up their asses, that they wouldnt know common sense if it hit them in the face.

Because there is so much increase in extraction of these resources, and there is no end in sight for decades to come, by the companies own claims, marketing and vision, not mine ... we need to do things cleaner. This is WHY they want the arctic ice to melt also, because they want to mine and drill all that too ... so, we need to look at other wayz to cut carbon emissions too, since there is no plans to stop doing this. I look at carbon capture as at least some start, while we are waiting for renewables to become more dominant and abundant ... yet, it still doesnt solve the problem, but at least, it does something. Some will say it's impractical, it's too expensive, we would have to store the carbon, and use more existing energy to make it work, etc. Some say to plant more trees or whatever, to pull in the carbon, but you have to look at land, agriculture and much else ... we are pumping out too much, and increasing so at an alarming rate. Either way you go, it is going to cost us, whether we fix things now and tighten regulations, or wait till more damage is done. All these folks that hold all these resources and make so much wealth off it, need to shell out money, they of all people preach that nothing is for free and everything has a price. And they have been getting a free ride on just about everything, it's the majority who pays for it all ... so fuck all that whining talk from them about how much they pay, or that folks are trying to put them out of business, when we tighten shit up. This is not putting folks out of business, strict regulations are needed even in business to keep it healthy, when folks cant control themselves ... and pampering them more, is feeding to more of the same only. Most of the top wealth is only intoxicated with wealth, so you cant expect them to make the best rational decisions, any more than you can expect a person shit- faced drunk to drive you home safely ... they must be sobered up and/ or feel some consequence. I would guess that many of these folks probably even have custom air and water systems for their own homes and properties, so they dont have to breathe and drink what most will. And they dont care if millions die, in fact, many would welcome it ... after all, they just look at their wealth and technologies to save themselves and build their future empires. It's our responsibility to force change and make the change. I'll shut the Hell up now, and close out with a couple videos below, from some folks that are actually doing something.

**** Buddy Holly Lives ... (website)

To start out 2018 in this journal/ blog ... I wanted to kick it off with a great rock and roll, and rockabilly influence to so many, which was "Buddy Holly and the Crickets"(wikipedia) band out of Lubbock, Texas ... to be included in this blog's music/ arts honour roll society. Buddy himself dont need much introduction, as big an artist he was in his short career and lifespan during the 1950's rock and roll craze, and the list of folks that Buddy influenced with his songwriting, vocals, and guitar technique is really wide, so I'll let the wikipedia link handle that. What made Buddy also unique in his day, was not strictly his trademark guitar riffs and vocals (which I love his vocals and guitar work much on a song like "Peggy Sue") ... but that he produced, wrote, and the worx as far as his music ... this is a time for instance when alot music was made/ written by others and given to an artist, such as folks like Elvis Presley, instead of the artist writing their own music ... Buddy done it all himself. My mom is the one who turned me on to Buddy Holly, she was a fan of Buddy, and also, mom was a big 1950's rock and roll fan (although, my mom sang opera in school). Me being a kid, born in the 50's, made it so I heard alot of rock and roll from my mom playing it all the time as a child, my earliest appeal in music at a young age would have been the earliest Beatles and James Brown, were at the top of my list and interest as a child. Buddy came from a familia of local Texas musicians who played around Lubbock, Buddy himself was influenced heavily by country/ western ... so his method came about when he combined country/ western with rhythm/ blues, and he even opened for Elvis Presley at a time, early on. Meanwhile, as Buddy and his Crickets kicked off, pumping out music faster than it could be produced ... a few kids were listening across the Atlantic Ocean from the northwest England town of Liverpool, as they were looking for leads on how to get their sound and music structure together. These Liverpool kids became known as The Beatles, and Buddy Holly was their main influence, who used Buddy's guitar technique and musical arrangements as a template to kickstart their musical journey. Even their choice of the name "Beatles" was inspired by the name "Crickets", as well as wearing the suits, and John Lennon's thing with his glasses, since John never liked wearing his glasses performing, until Buddy Holly made him feel more comfortable to.

Right as Buddy and The Crickets were peaking and on the move, tragedy hit, when the plane that Buddy chartered, crashed in 1959 while touring ... sadly with Buddy, 2 other great rock and roll figures of that time, also died in that crash with Buddy ... Big Bopper/ JP Richardson of Sabine Pass, Tx, and Ritchie Valens of San Fernando Valley/ LA ... Ritchie was only 17 years old. I selected 5 well known songs to highlight below of Buddy and The Crickets ... and also added a couple videos at the bottom of the post with some input and music on Buddy Holly from Paul McCartney and John Lennon of The Beatles, and Ron Wood of The Rolling Stones ... and a big Thanx to Buddy and The Crickets ... Enjoy!

Dallas County Sheriff Lupe Valdez Announces Run For Governor ... Thanx to CBSDFW

First of all ... my heart and thoughts go out to those in SoCal, that are being hammered with these fires (NBC4/ LA), this is one of the most beautiful areas of our country, at that ... and this Global Warming just adds to intensifying these fires! This posting is concerning local Texas politics, and will serve 3 series of this journal, as an introduction to now former Dallas County Sheriff for the last 12 years, Lupe Valdez ... some news video above. I been hoping that Valdez would run for governor, because I know she has been thinking about it for a couple years now, so congrats on that move! All states have their unique situations and issues, Texas is no exception. Another positive here in Texas, Democrats have fielded candidates for 90 of 150 Texas House seats (Texas Observer) ... so there is signs of progress showing, for a little more political diversity here in the Lone Star State. Our current Governor Abbott, has been declining to address critical issues we face here ... plus, Austin is way out of balance politically, considering all the needs and issues, and it's not a clear representational picture of Texas. Lupe Valdez has Texas, patriotism, and service written all over her, and a pretty solid record. She started from a Texas familia of migrant workers, busted ass, working her way through college, earning a bachelor's in business administration, and a master's in criminology and criminal justice. Valdez is a U.S. Army veteran Captain, federal agent for U.S. Customs and with the Department of Homeland Security, prior to becoming Dallas County top cop, she had 3 decades of law enforcement background, worked anti- terrorism, and in Central and South America, as well. But Valdez and Abbott got off on the wrong foot you could say, a couple years back, when Abbott made some monetary and political threats to her, concerning Valdez not honouring the way Abbott set up the sanctuary city penalty thing. Bottom line here is ... Valdez has a more common sense, and non radical way of dealing with illegal immigration issues. Valdez knows and worked the border, knows the people and the tricks of the trade ... Abbott does not, simple.

They say that Valdez will have an uphill battle ... which is fine, she has dealt with uphill battles her entire life. I know with the lineup of Democrat challengers we have now (and there is more to come), that Valdez is at the top of my list, I expect already to vote for her in the primaries (early voting late february 2018). I would like to see her get the nomination, but too, whoever the opponent of Abbott and the GOP is, I will be voting for them, and straight Democrat in the Texas 2018 elections, although I'm an independent. As far as the presidential 2020 election, I'm not sure how I will vote on that, I wont vote republican, but if democrats pull what they did in 2016, I wont vote for them either. Mostly all I hear here in Texas, is the money factor, with the tons of cash Abbott has, and this has been the culture too much we hear since 2010 across America ... money, money, money. But there is such a thing as upsets, and people voting their conscience, so it's not all about big bucks only. A key primary challenge for Valdez I noticed, will be investor Andrew White of Houston, who is riding mainly on the coattail of his dad, former Texas Governor, Mark White. I like candidate and Dallas businessman, Jeffrey Payne, more than White, Payne was an orphan, came to Dallas with $2000, and started 5 businesses. White is a self proclaimed "very conservative democrat" and "moderate republican", which is a popular label these dayz, whether in Washington or Texas. White never been clear on where he stands on women's choice issues, or many other social issues ... and listening to him, I doubt he ever will. White is simply just that ... an investor ... we are saturated these dayz with investors in politics, and folks who have no idea what is happening on Main St or our communities in America. It's also refreshing in 2017/ 2018, to actually see some candidates for political office, that have actually had to "work" to earn a paycheck at some point in life. Look at the U.S. Congress for example ... I would bet that half of them are millionaire investors only, and not much else ... I mean, they're like a dime a dozen up there. Also, I'm so sick of hearing the whining out of Democrats, that "they need to move more to the right" ... I mean ... why dont they ask more Republicans to move more to the left? We dont even have a fair balance for representation, and Washington is as bad as Texas on it ... if you do nothing over the years, but move to the right, there is no left anymore at all, to give any balance ... it's a one way street of neoliberalism. I myself years ago, was far more bipartisan, and even voted Republican, but because of neoliberalism, religious fanaticism, phony patriotism, and lack of rational conservative ideas by the GOP, I been forced to move far more left, even more left than Democrats.

Another Democrat challenger, is Tom Wakely ... I actually like Wakely too, but he is a Berniecrat, and you know, by the time they get done with him, both Democrats and Republicans, they will have all this fake media, that he was some shit like a former Soviet Union baby transplant, of old school eastern communism ... you know the talk these dayz ... "RUSSIA IS GOING TO GET US!", etc. Instead of blaming everything on, and worrying about, Russians, I suggest our politicians clean up their own damn house, and work on fixing their own corruption, incompetence, and neglect, first. They are also going to play the economy and jobs card, big time here ... talking about how great business is here in Texas under Abbott/ Republicans. Bottom line is, Texas has a very attractive business climate, and much else, and it been that way for decades, and will continue to, under Democrats or Republicans ... so you can toss that talk to the side. Same in Washington now, with all this hype on how the stock markets are exploding with confidence under Trump/ GOP. Bottom line, all this economic recovery came under 8 years of Obama, it took that long to recover, from the 08 mess it was in. But Obama sided more with Wall St, instead of Main St, and Obama gave more to Wall St, than even former President W. Bush. Obama came in office with a mess leftover from Bush/ Cheney and the worst financial crisis since the Great Depression ... Trump came into office with no financial mess to deal with ... it was all done for him, he didnt have to do anything, but take all the credit. And all this new activity in the markets, is just speculative chance, with a bloated overvalued market. Valdez is well known in Dallas, but not across Texas yet, so it's importante for her to work the state, and introduce herself to Texans. She done much to clean up the Dallas County jail and Sheriff's Department here in her 12 years, and the internal corruption, she has been active in the LGBT community, and stands more for working Texas families, the needy, small business, education, women's rights, and transportation improvement, as well as unifying law enforcement more in Dallas with the community, and looking out for her deputies more than the past Sheriff Bowles. I linked a couple pieces below, to read up more on Lupe Valdez.
