I chose the Mississippi Governor's address to the people here, because there has been much similar ideology and talk all over conservative airwave's, and because I have voted almost exclusively republican my entire life...until recently. After, I would like to respond to what the Governor say's ..........
Of coarse it's common that whatever problem's we are facing and to what degree... whoever the presiding President is...is the one that is going to get the hammer. One of the thing's that the Governor keep's talking about is also the employment situation.And even angry independent's and many democrat's are upset with the President.We can all speculate on which candidate or party is going to do better ... but whatever any party or candidate can do depend's on the current condition and how we got to that condition as well...and the tool's that they can utilize and time frame. The GOP has been relentlessly screaming that they want bipartisanship, this President has done everything humanly possible to display bipartisan effort's, even to the point to have his own party divide on him.Yet...it is the GOP who has not given one hand on any of this...and continue to try to divide the country as well as their own party.So I must question if politician's are more concerned with the party they belong to or the American people?
What you claim you can do about unemployment or who's fault it is...is pissing in the wind ... anyone who look's at this situation with half a brain(I myself barely have that on many issue's) can and should see that you cannot fix the employment situation from what it is in any quick amount of time...simple math show's you that...I myself have posted over and over in this journal about this...and that job's can only decline more before they start to make any significant comeback, and they wont...bottom line.The recession is over...sure...or kind of(not sure what the official word is this week)...and that is at least some positive sign because it get's market's feeling a little better about business.But job's have alway's trailed after recession's and because of the strength of this recession...it's going to be a real climb uphill...period...and there's not much you can do about it regardless of how much any politician or party think's they can do...we have a system that is "free market" rooted...and a far more global interdependency than we ever had in our history...this aint the day's of goddamn Marco Polo!And if you want to actually give blame to who's fault this can be politically...well ... the GOP got us into this mess.This sure as hell didnt start in 2007/2008 ... this took year's to get to where it is at...and when the last administration under GW Bush started wanting to deregulate every damn thing as early as his first year in office...that is what really had one of the biggest impact's on this current mess.That's like putting a crack addict in a room with a couple pound's of crack...and telling them you wont watch them,but they should use their own discipline and such to control their usage.
And we are all to blame...not just the corporate elite on this...I have posted time and again about change in this system that is inevitable and essential to survival in the future...why? Because you cant evolve to the next level by keeping thing's the old way of doing business.And just like the Livery stable business got hurt at the turn of the 19th and 20th century because of Henry Ford and the Model T ... or the hurt that came to any other solid market during the industrial revolution is just part of how thing's work.And this system we use need's to collapse and the way business is done...and believe me...it will in time ... you can bank on that. Including this political nonsense that we have to engage in currently and of past. The new faces upcoming in this 21st century are gonna put most of this crap where it belong's ... in history book's and deactivate this nonsense.We are moving right now in a direction that is positive and beneficial...especially with American's now tightening their belt's ... and not living on credit card's...sure the mega financial institution's hate it...and bank's right now out of desperation due to new regulatory factor's to come in 2010 or maybe sooner are out slashing customer's throat's right now in sudden jacked up fee's and interest rate's and getting folk's locked in.The last thing we want to do...even in the employment sector...is get back to normal and have this happen and happen over again decade after decade...like a cancer...you need to stop it in it's track's.HELL NO I dont want thing's to mellow out too much and get back to the same ole same ... Hell...I dont even want to see President's do more than 4 year's for that matter(max term)...I dont care how much they say...it take's more than one term to do this or that...I want new people,new idea's,direction's and to see more quicker action especially...were too SLOW.We should be way ahead of where we are now...and would be if it wasnt for this slow system of doing thing's and taking any action.
The insurance crap is another snowjob...for Pete's sake ...wake up. All we hear about is how the health care system is doomed if we start some simple public option. See that this is all silly...because it is.And that we are simply letting corporation's dictate by believing this...they have bought everything in this nation(and world)...not just our political parties...but the media ...our churches,our health care system,our retirement account's and everything you eat...they own everything...and you are being dictated to as it is.You can TRUST a government by the people and monitored by the people alot more than you can trust your life to a corporation who made it's fortune off people's lives and death's.WE ARE NOT TURNING INTO COMMUNIST'S ...communism is more deadwood and of the past...even the Chinese are trying to get out of it...and will ... this is exactly why I call China the "Sleeping Giant", and in past posting's as a country of a progressive future. All of what you see on the current conservative agenda...is only a corporate agenda, and alot even on the democrat side of the isle as well...even the mega religion's are NOW solely controlled by corporate interest's..especially the evangelical movement...which initially started to get away of the corruption of catholicism/ Vatican, but now have joined the same rank's and disgraced their own people.
Why is the conservative party going to the ruin's now? Dont blame it on the democrat's or this administration...ya'll made a bed that ya'll are having to lie in is all.I would be still voting for conservative's on many issue's if they stood for the best interest's of American's...but they only stand for the best interest's of corporation's and putting them in a position of dictatorship. We have this other nonsensical mindset that these corporation's are the lifeforce of all capitalism....and without them being so HUGE...our whole world economy would fail. NO .... not at all...if they fail...the world still turn's...if they downsize and divide into different companies...we still turn and generate...if they totally and suddenly collapse... other's will take over with better idea's...that how it work's in the free market. All they want is a free ride and quarterly check...no regulation's...just leave it all up to them to solve the world's problem's, no taxes,no oversight,no rules,etc,etc. Yet every other smaller company has to follow a system and rules and oversight and be accountable for every time they scratch their asses.
Gov.Barbour...with all due respect Sir ... show us what ya'll can do. Come up with something that work's for the people ... and dont present some plan on health care with hardly no regulatory improvement or any accountablity for those who reap the benefit's of this great nation...that's all.Just come up with something that folk's want to buy...and stop focusing so much on how awful the democrat's and this administration are doing...because over time...American's if not now will see beyond all this "all talk and no action" technique ... as ya'll are currently seeing in your party and poll's.Personally speaking...I strongly feel we can do a much better job as far as governing the peoples and their interest's using technologies programmed to weigh and balance FOR the people...and in far less time than paying any of ya'll money to dress up and present anything to us.Why cant we programme technologies to work for us? I mean ... in the future ... what would we possibly need any of ya'll for...including the corporate icon's, or religious icon guru's? Because your human? This is a Memorial Post ...to honor those soldier's who died on base yesterday at Fort Hood. And condolences to the families and friend's of those who died ... from the heart of Texas.
Fort Hood is not just a base ... but a small city of it's own ...of around 52,000 soldier's and their families.It is a proud Texas Community and proud to serve the peoples of our great nation ... and have done so for many year's.

WORLD WAR: PART 2 ... "weapon's and complication's" factor's .....
I wanted to add to the WORLD WAR post's anyway ... and just happened to run across this clip that really left me with my jaw to the floor this morning in shock as to what I was hearing here from CBS Foreign Affairs Analyst Pam Falk ....

I am only adding to this WORLD WAR posting's because I feel we may be reaching a point of an unavoidable necessity is all. I am not anxious for war ... and know that there are also other important duties our military could be working on beside's having to spend their time in harm's way in these sewer's of these region's! The only reason these folk's are all smile's when State Secretary Clinton is visiting...is because they know she's fixin to cut them a $7 billion dollar check ... goddamn bastard's! We wouldnt be in this situation either if Pakistan didnt allow all these misfit's and radical's to infiltrate their society and especially their government.And the nerve of these to tell us what "they want" and "expect" from us...including assuring them that we will let some of these good Taliban stay in their new government ... and also how much "we" need to pay insurgent's to stop picking on our troop's and fighting them! And like I previously said in post's and over the last decade...this was going to be a problem.And we all knew it way back then...but wouldnt even report it or step up on it...we knew when the fundamoralist's took over the Pakistani School System at least a decade back...and had the student's chanting all day, instead of learning...yet WE STILL supported their rat-holing a nuclear arsenal! Now they got our asses as basically political hostages.
I didnt know what to think listening to Falk point out the so called complexities of this. Why did we ever let this even become an issue? I know the mainstream thought is...the $7 billion to the government and $1 billion to the insurgency is small compared to what Bush shelled out in Iraq...and it is ... but still ... why is it we have to pay anyone anything? Because the UN decided we should? The UN guest house was targeted yesterday in Afghanistan by the opposition ..8 or so killed ... which I wasnt sure if I was happy or sad over that one(sarcasm only) ... but what was incredible was listening to Falk casually say ...that they were delivering aid/help and they are not supposed to be target's according to UN Humanitarian Law.What planet are some of these people on? Do we actually believe even slightly...that any of our opposition give's a rat's ass about humanitarian law's .. or especially the UN? We must be totally out of our mind's.
Also the talk from Falk about trying to please the Pakistani Gvmt? Secretary Clinton not long ago was confronted and criticized face to face by Pakistani's recently when she first stepped out onto their soil...because of US doing business as usual and now using drone's(unmanned air fighter's)and hitting innocent people...which they say that 600 or so civilian's died. Considering the enemy...the complexities and rules to just fight this war is overwhelming. I mean...what the Hell do these ingrate's think we are ..."Rent-A-Brigade" ...on a goddamn Lay-Away plan?!! Then both Gielan as well as Falk in this video are debating over Afghanistan President Hamid Karzai' brother saying he only helped the CIA but wasnt on the payroll. At this goddamn point with all the stupidity that we have displayed ...does it really matter? What do they think? ...that he just done these favour's because it was humanitarian to do so? He just does this for the west as charity? Maybe we should analyze it some more ...ya reckon?
I'll tell ya what need's to be analyzed .. the way we think .................

MICHAEL SPECTER ... and How excessive FEAR and DENIALISM can control us .....
First of all ... I cant tell you a damn thing about who Michael Specter is. But watching this clip while thumbing through morning news clip's, made me choose to add this clip to my journal ... because he made some worthwhile point's. That also bring me to some comment's on this subject I will point out after. Especially with this current H1N1(swine-flu)panic and confusion.
Even though I whine all the time about our excessive fear ... I am no different than anyone else ... I fear everything as well ... fear is healthy...and essential to survival.Since there is so much to fear...and we spend most of our lives dealing with it, I learned long ago ... that you have to draw the line as well.
Part of what inspire's this posting is all the craziness over this H1N1 virus. I live in Dallas County Texas ... and there has been this sort of panic across the Metroplex as well as nationally...on supply of the vaccine not being enough, fighting over who get's it first, those who still are skeptical if they take it,will they end up dead? ..because of the old story of what happened when some died from a flu vaccine back in the mid 1970's or so ... even some thinking that there is a conspiracy to vaccinate all our children with this for some type of mission to contaminate the children...and the list even goes on...it's gotten nutty actually. And then when a few thousand free doses do become available...we have hundred's of folk's in line's before sunrise, many of which actually camped out in the chilly night on a cold sidewalk to be first in line to get it...usually with their kid's.
I havent talked about it much as most probably...but of coarse I'm concerned about the swine flu...I'm just not going to drive myself batty over it.No ... I havent got the shot ... or havent even gave it alot of thought. But not because I am afraid that they are out to get me...or that the shot will kill me at all. I have had a flu shot once in my life...around 1990 I recall ... when the company I was working at...offered free flu shot's to employee's... I figured what the hell...it's free...I'll try it. Whether it did anything positive or not?...I frankly dont know, I mean...nothing happened.I only got the flu once in my life...and that was the winter of 1974/1975 ... then I got an antibiotic shot was about it, and got over it, even smoked pot the entire time of the illness .. and still got well fairly quick. So I cant say that I have had any real history of the flu. If someone offered me a H1N1 shot right this minute...where I didnt have to stand in bloody line for 5 goddamn hour's to get it with a bunch of screaming toddler's and folk's that didnt get their goddamn morning shower ... I would jump all over it like a cheap suit.
But Mr.Specter bring's up some interesting point's about our fear's and phobia's... and how excessive we sometime's get ... and how it can do a hell of alot more harm than good for us in many cases.

POLITIC'S OF PRO-POLLUTION .... What is the Point? ....
This video is presented by journalist/reporter John Stossel, who is kind of known for his investigative reporting. I wanted to post this to show just a fraction of all the media that is out there on this "Global Warming Hoax" movement ... and has especially been going after Al Gore the last couple year's. What we are seeing of coarse is "politic's as usual" only. So I call this ...The Politic's of Pro- Pollution". They accuse the global warming theory advocate's here of instilling fear into children and such.This is another reason why I have alway's pointed out how we use children as a commodity and show no respect to them.
Now of coarse my question is ..."What is the point here?". The only point in any of this could only be...to make sure we have no one interfering with our filthy habit's and excessive greed. This dont have a goddamn thing to do with saving the children from brianwashing...we as adult's always use that crap ... and use children as a commodity for the most part of our society on every level as well.
We have folk's here wanting to sue each other over their theories? All the arguement's whether the earth is getting warmer or cooler over the decade's and centuries ... and all our effort's and energy we spend on pointing finger's at who's right and who's wrong. I can assure you ... that nature dont give a rat's ass about our petty primitive indifferences ... nor give's a rat's ass about the human species for that matter ... it evolve's and act's ... there is no politic's to it, no good and evil, no left nor right.
My bottom line question is...what is the purpose to continue to throw million's of ton's of pollution into our land,air,and sea's daily? I actually would like to hear any of these theorist's answer that. I never hear any of them even discuss that. Even if we didnt have global warming or cooling ...is there a reason besides politic's and money to keep trashing the planet? Can the earth survive without our filth and disregard? Will we be doomed if we just happen to find a more efficient and cleaner way of doing business and supply of energy? Isnt that just basic common sense and actual progress?
The bottom line is...we are a filthy destructive species...and as far from nature as you can get ... we believe we are special...nature's little chosen lovebug's ... who can do any damn thing they want... and suffer no consequences for our action's. That is the real INSANITY. Like it or not ...our future will look at our past mistake's and look for way's to clean up the mess we made ... we have a habit of leaving alway's a mess on every level for the next generation's to have to deal with. There is nothing awful with these children who think that we need to clean up the enviroment ... what is awful is us.

AL GORE ... Give him 23 minute's of your attention ... it's well worth it ....
Even though this video is over 32 minute's ... you need to only see the first 23 minute's to absorb the important issue here.Set aside politic's for a moment, and take a look at what this man...has been busting his ass on doing.You can call it "climate change" ...you can call it "global warming" ... you can argue all day about who or what caused it... but the bottom line is ... it's here to stay and we WILL have to deal with it ... you can bank on that part! Just give him 23 minute's of your attention ... he deserve's that much.Beside's that...this man has some great economic tip's as well, where we can utilize the market instead of fearing the market's and building America to a stronger point as well, all by dealing with this pollution problem in the same process.
