Why the name Ranch Chimp? it was in humour because, science says that humans have similar DNA to a chimpanzee,so I felt some way related biologically to a chimpanzee. 2nd, everytime I was out of Texas on a vacation or for whatever reason I’m always asked things like, do I live on a ranch?,or have cattle? so I commonly call Dallas the Ranch. "Politically Depressed" was also humour inspired by the 1993- 2002 Bill Maher TV/ tele show "Politically Incorrect".

MINH NGUYEN: .... J.S. BACH' .... "Toccata & Fugue in D minor" ....
This posting is to highlight some of the work of artist, Mr. Minh Nguyen on his keyboard's. You can visit his YouTube Channel here . The piece "Toccata & Fugue in D minor" original composition from the composer J.S. Bach .... and one of my favourite's that is mainstream as well.
Over the last couple week's I have viewed so many doing this piece on YouTube, even using various instrument's and format's, I cant recall how many I viewed ... but they were all so great! When I select an artist and piece, I base my selection on many to few factor's. What impressed me about Mr. Nguyen' work .... was nothing lavish about the equipment or setting, this was done in 2004, and he is 10 year's old here .... I dont see the usual sheet music which tell's me it's within, as a matter of fact .... this was simply a practice session, not a show. Anywayz .... GREAT WORK! .... and I sincerly wish you the best of luck and a long and fruitful career! You made my evening :) .... Thank You Sir!
Toccata & Fugue in Dminor J.S.Bach- BWV565 ... Thanx to MINH NGUYEN

Nice change. Ah-hem. Tried to find information about this young man but was unsuccessful.
Ranch Greeting's Ms.Leslie (TNlib)!
I dont even know where in the USA he is located for that matter, only what is on his YouTube profile page. I left him a message that I was going to post this clip (as I do with everyone on YouTube) and if any question or objection to contact me is all. Considering the few factor's I mentioned I considered .... he is truely elite in his category. Oh .... so I take it you like Bach or classical? I just have alot of music at home girl ... even alot of experimental, old friend's band's, etc. I'm even a fan of Charlie Daniels! Even if you dont like country .... you must admit he is a master at that fiddle composition. Yes .... I seen Charlie "live" .... actually Ronnie Milsap opened for him at the show I attended.
Thanx for stoppin by ....
RC isn't that your theme song...
If not it should be...Ha!!
Phantom of the Ranch..LOL
Hey on another (note) so to speak..
Melissa and me went shopping for Guitars yesterday...
She insisted I get a Gretsch after I played it at the Music Store.
It's a beauty... Gosh now we have eight Guitars, a violin, banjo, and a assortment of harps. Now I just have to learn to play one of them Ha!
A "Gretsch" (?).... is it hallow body? Mike Nesmith of the "Monkeys" also played one of them .... he was born in Houston, and raised in Dallas actually .... if you recall their pop music venture and tele series I reckon back in the 1960's .... he also came up with the concept for "MTV".
"Phantom of the Ranch" .... heh, heh, heh, heh, heh .... I like that Guy. Actually that bring's back old memories Guy .... many a night's, those wee morning hour's ... hosting get together's amongst like minded associate's/ friend's it was common to hear them great piece's such as that coming from my lair/ home .... Ahhhh ... the memories Guy! :) And what a ride it's been!
But back to that new Gretsch, well to me Guy .... it sound's like a case of "Love at first sight". :)
Thanx for your word's ........
Actually Mr.Tim ... from old familia record's .... I had familia over a century ago on my dad's side back in England who played violin, classic concerto type as well .... from what I read in article's .... played for the Queen as well once. Just thought about that when you mentioned violin, strange .... havent even thought about that for year's before you mentioned it.
