Part 16 of the "Dont Be Alarmed" series will look at this last sundayz drive out of Dallas on I- 45 going down Houston way ... this was actually a "40 mile" gridlock traffic back up at a complete stop, and the first of that length I have ever seen, but also many area freewayz/ Interstates into Dallas were in bad shape coming and going from north. east, south or west for that matter. Oddly ... on saturday (the day before) I was driving with my window's down and sun- roof open, wearing a t- shirt around Dallas, the temperature saturday afternoon was 81 degrees, absolutely gorgeous! ... just 24 hour's later sunday afternoon I was driving with all my window's up and a heater on full blast in the car with a temperature of 19 degrees out! (no shit ... a 60+ degree drop from one afternoon to the next for high temps). So all ya'll in Atlanta metro area who think they had a hard time in your ice storm, look at Dallas to see how mild you had it driving {: )
Statistically more people move to Dallas- Fort Worth from Los Angeles County, more than any other county in the country, I can only imagine what they think of this, I mean, this never happen's in LA! But ... for anyone who may get caught by suprise in these event's here in the Dallas- Fort Worth Metroplex ... dont be alarmed ... it's early march in Dallas only {: ) Some video and news in the below ....
