Why the name Ranch Chimp? it was in humour because, science says that humans have similar DNA to a chimpanzee,so I felt some way related biologically to a chimpanzee. 2nd, everytime I was out of Texas on a vacation or for whatever reason I’m always asked things like, do I live on a ranch?,or have cattle? so I commonly call Dallas the Ranch. "Politically Depressed" was also humour inspired by the 1993- 2002 Bill Maher TV/ tele show "Politically Incorrect".

Wow they still don't hide their opinions down there. When I lived there many years ago I recall seeing a billboard "This is Klan country" complete with hooded rider on horseback. If the south is going to rise again it better get some Viagra. :-)
Demeur: You lived in Texas year's ago? It's a pretty big state land wise, so It's a lil vague, as to where (city, town, county) you lived, or the town/ location of the billboard, or what decade/ tear it was, etc, etc ... I can tell ya that between the year's 1974 or so to the present, I have been everywhere's in Texas, I have actually covered the entire state and even most Texan's born and raised here I know never even have, but frankly never seen a "klan" (with horses?) billboard/ sign anything of any kind anywhere's in the state, and I know that a couple of the town's I was in had reputation's for being klan memeber town's to an extent, but no, never seen any ad's of any kind in Texas. Although it may have been before my time here and I'm only 56 year's old too. I dated a gal year's back who told me that her grandpa was a klan type leader, and she actually showed me the proof ... she wasnt though, I must say though, she was really a great lookin gal too! : ) As far as the "viagra" thing ... no ... never tried it.
Thanx for your input ....
